I know some people disagree with me on this, but as I've recently said, I think Microsoft made the deal with Square and made the announcement when they did not only for profit but to throw a blow to Sony. Some say Microsoft might have only did it for profit and could care less about Sony. The fact is, Microsoft has had a history of crippling the competition.

Take a look at this.

Some may already know some of the business Microsoft has had with smaller companies. In my opinion, I think they're going after the gaming market now. Personally, since Sony and Nintendo are a lot bigger than companies like Netscape and Apple were at the time, I think it will be a lot harder if at all possible to monopolize the gaming market.

Nevertheless, I think Microsoft is going after Sony, and if they cripple them in the gaming division...I think I can assure you they'll go after Nintendo next.

Disclaimer: I did not make this topic to bash the 360. I intend on getting one before this generation is over. I'm just bringing attention to Microsoft's history and what could happen to the gaming market. I made this topic in sole concern for the stability of it. I think the gaming market thrives on competition and I'd hate to see it become pretty much monopolized.

That and they better not ruin the gaming industry because of their business tactics. They mentioned a few years ago that they'd be willing to buy Nintendo.

I can honestly say that I have no more hatred for Sony. I respect them and their brand of gaming. Nintendo and they have both done great things for it in their own rights. They seem to be respecting each other more as well.

Eh, I wouldn't say to really get to comfortable with a company, as they all have the same goal: profit. Microsoft just kind of takes it to the extreme is all. confused

Amen.

I wanted a Mac laptop just so that I would officially no longer own a Microsoft product. But my dad bought my dell so no complaints. XD

Where the love at? All I see is hate.

Microsoft will one day rule the world. You should get in on it early.

I'm giving MS's 360 and main hierarchy one week to at least get back to me on my issue with them or I will forever write them out of my life.
