Setting: Helios, being a curious lil' palui, has started a treasure hunt for...something. And maybe make a few friends along the way? In the deep rainforest, near the fork of the river.
A red fire palui focused his multicolored eyes in front of him, constantly sniffing for any scent of TREASURE. He had all he needed... A few nuts and berries, a bit of clean water, a map, and his awesomeness, all in one bag.
He was ready to go.
Helios darted thropugh the woods, crawlin through logs, digging up frogs, putting his paw in the empty hollows of trees, and of course, looking for anyoen to recruit to his epic hunt for greatness.

Once again, Lillu was on the prowl. Is this just what she always did when no one was around? "You won't get away from meee~!" This time, her eyes were dead set on a little lizard fleeing up a tree trunk, obviously trying to escape the odd little Palui's underdeveloped hunting instincts. Lillu took a running leap at the tree, her claws at the ready to cling to the bark. With a 'THUMP' she had succeeded, and was then clinging to the trunk of a tree, body outstretched and tail wriggling.

'FWWP!' What WAS that? Helios took in a huge sniff through his nose, his ears perked up, trying to catch every small sound... Another palui! But where...
Helios sighed, looking towards the sky, trying to figure it out...but now was a time to investigate! Was it the bearer of the hidden treasure? Or maybe a pirate sent to steal it...Oooo all the possibilities! But after crawlign and sniffing his way over to an average looking tree, was just a beautiful palui, clinging on the bark. Intrigued and bursting with adrenaline, he closed his eyes, drifting into ideas...
In the stories that his grandfather had told him, this was... A warrior, sent from fate? Or maybe a fair maiden, who needed rescue...Possibly a villain after Helios's treasure!
Heliso went with what was most appeasing. Fair maiden. "Don't worry, I'll rescue you, Princess!" The fire palui braced himself, and jumped full force full force at the tree, pullign on her tail hoping to pull her down.

Lillu, unable to crane her head quote enough to see the fire Palui calling out to her, continued to cling to the tree bark, tail wriggling like a giant furry caterpillar. "Eh?! Who's there!" Her voice held the slightest tinge of desperation, unable to see who was there or to move if she needed to defend herself, then-- "EEP!!" Lillu immediately released her grasp on the tree, feeling something quite heavy tugging on her poor tail. It all happened so fast- with a dull "THWUMP" she'd landed on something quite soft and furry- yet very warm. Cautiously chancing to open her eyes, she glanced down at the fire Palui under her. "Oh! Helios! It's you. You scared me!"

"Lillu? Lilluuuu!" That illiminated the possibility of her being a princess... Because Helios very well knew her, and thus, that would make her a powerful...Warrior! Yup, that would fite her... They didn't knwo eachother SO well that she could be a sidekick, or be a stranger, making her a newcomer.
"Hmm..Destiny and fate msut'v sent you to find the GREAT TREASURE with me!" He said, with a light smile. "Aha, and there's a clue on you head!" Helios peeled a helpless little lizard off of her ear, staring at the thing with deep focus as it wriggled pathetically in his claws. "We must look for something the looks like a lizard!" He meowed cheerfully, as if that was a genius interpretation. And then he ate it.
"We musht go and hurnt for dish treasure togethuh!" He slurred, with the lizard still in his mouth. "Hnm, never ate red meat before..Well, let's head off!"

By the time he finished, Lillu's head was spinning. Great treasure? Clue? Lizard? Eating the lizard?! Her face wrenched into a shocked and disgusted look, wide eyes, wrinkled nose, and tongue sticking out as if she were saying 'yuck!'. "Oh, er- you said something about a treasure?" Her ears had tilted back warily. It seemed she'd forgotten just how odd the fire Palui was- it had been a little while since she'd last seen him.

"Welll, my grandfather told me a story, about a brave fire palui name Solaris, and Solaris had to-"
AFter about ten minutes of going on and on with great detail about amazing adventures, monster, and a treasure that could make the deepest desires of your heart come true, he ended with, "And so I've decided to have an adventure of my own. I'm probably too OLD for this buuuut.... How many silly ideas, fun times, or magical adventures does it take to make someone stupid? 0, because simply imagination," He scooted inches and inches closer to her. "Never hurt anyone... HE whispered, about 3 cenimeters away from her ear....
And then he scooted back and grinned enthusiastically. "You comin', or what?"

Lillu listened to his story very intently for the first.. three minutes or so, before she found herself increasingly less interested. After the halfway point, she began to daze off, nodding with the occasional "ohh~" every now and then. Until he whispered in her ear, that is. As soon as the warm air sifted through the fur on her ears she shivered all over, ears tilting back with discomfort. "Huuu, oh! Er, yes, of course I'll come! It sssssounds like fun."

He looked at her skeptically. "Well, I was thinking you'de say no, because you hadn't listened to my story... But Okay! Have some nuts!"
Using his tail, Helios swiftly swung off the bag on his shoulders, dropping it in front of her. "They're pecans, straight from my servant's world." He backed up, staring intently at the girl, with a few stray sparks leaping from the tips of his ears like they did when he was nervous.
But he wasn't going to interogate her, that would be rude!

Lillu blushed furiously when Helios accused her of not listening to his story, ears twitching with indignation. "I-I was too listening! You should just think of a shortened version, it's hard to listen to someone talk for ten minutes straight!" Still in a huff, cheeks poofed out, she dropped her grudge and facial expression when he offered her pecans. Ohh, Lillu loved pecans, they were her favorite nut. "Well.. maybe just a few." Crouching down a little, Lillu nibbled at a couple of pecans before looking back up to Helios curiously. "Your servant's world?"

"Shortening a story about one of my ancestors giving up his life for the sake of good will? Feh! How degrading!" He said, feeling his ego take a major blow. Yet, the young adult's mood lightened, at her humorous expression, not being able to restrain a brief chuckle.
Her next question, though, would be slightly more fun to answer. " My servant is a two-leg, who came from this HUGE gigantic island called am-aaarrrrr-EEEEEE-kuh! Something of the sort...BUt she traveled here, on a boat, and is here, with me! She orders ALOT of stuff from her island! Do you know what a braw is? They're like hats... But anyways, we have to go to headquarters, and figure out our clue!" Helios announced, before running off in another directon. "Catch up if you can!

Lillu didn't quite understand all of his talk about ancestry, degradation and all that. It was just shortening a story, after all. In fact, it could only really benefit Helios and his story since more people would listen! But oh well. She only blinked and looked at him with large, confused eyes before listening to what he had to say next. "Oh! A two-legged thing? I have- er, well I had one." Lillu's ears tilted back and her expression became a little sadder, though she retained a weak smile. Before she knew it though, Helios had taken off in some direction, so she had little time to be solemn. "W-wait!" Lillu pounced after him, her little legs running on overdrive to catch up.

Before running off, he had heard her say something.. She HAD one? Did that mean she didn't have one anymore? Not like it mattered...Although for him, it kind of did.
"Here we are!" He panted, with his tonge hanging out. He stood at the side of a cliff, certain spots growing vines and moss, insects and...things crawling in neraly every crack and crevice. Still, Helios took a bow, his eyes grazing amused at Lillu the entire time.
"Ladies first. Since I've never taken anyone to the HQ before." Helios was right. Not anything other than a few creatures had ever found any opening, in what appeared to be a spot of vines moss, dirt, and a centipede.
Helios had never told anyone about the inside of. It was a rounded butte', making a sort of dome. The dome, though, had a large, erodded hole in the middle. Too short to be listed on the map as a mountain, too tall to count as a hill. So, Helios took it up as 'headquarters'. It was actually pretty attractive, with a small pond, and lots of grass and berries... So Helios tweaked it up a bit.
"So, go in!"

Not again! Lillu sighed as Helios jolted off once again. Thankfully where they were heading wasn't so far away, so she trotted after him without much fuss. She was still panting by the time they arrived, her legs were just too small for much heavy running. "HQ?" Lillu blinked, still panting gently, her eyes scouring the cliff side. She looked to him with wide eyes and a confused look when he told her to go in. She couldn't see the opening. "Go in... where?"

"Guess you can't see because of your tiny cuteness. . . Well, it's the green spot right he- OUCH!" Helios, with is failing eyesight, of course, hit the side. In embarrasment, he charged full speed towards it, and surprisingly, darting right through the mossy curtain, inot his headquarters.
"Ehem, there you go!" Heliso muttered, while shaking a few insects off his tail while in the inside of the small, hallow dome.
