Needless to say the teacher was trying to keep himself busy. He didn't care for lulls as he felt that it caused him to loose the skills he had worked so hard to gain. Glancing at his paper he looked over the name and DNA description of the kid he was to be teaching.

Fleur....DNA skunk. Well then....He wondered idly if there was a point teaching a skunk type child offense...then he wondered if the child could do a normal skunks natural self defense mechanism. He wouldn't ask..he would let the child inform him if he felt that it was needed.

He was...outside for once. The weather was nice and he felt that he had taught enough classes indoors for now. He knew the chlid should be close to showing up. He just had to wait...

He had drugg matts outside though the CD player still remained indoors. Why recreate outdoor music when he was outside?

Fleur rubbed his face wearily as he shuffled his way along the D-Corp grounds to his class. He had not been feeling like himself ever since his first battle class, and it worried him greatly. However, he had not said anything to Bah nor to Argent despite their concern at his lack of exuberance. He hoped beyond hope that he was only tired and in a "slump" so to speak though he was still intensely worried about the way he simply blacked out in the last class. He could not remember anything which happened. One moment, he was doing fine, then he panicked, and...nothing. He was suddenly at the nearest bakery to Bah's mansion gnawing on a cinnamon roll. It was unnerving and disturbing.

The skunk shook his head vigorously. He could not afford to dwell on that right now. He had a class to go to regardless of whatever was happening to him.

Fleur paused in his trek long enough to adjust his skirt so it would flow more easily around his legs, and he pulled a pair of chopsticks out of his bag, newly bought from an oriental store and specifically designed to function as hairpins. They were absolutely irresistible, and he had to have them and wear them even if it took him quite a while to keep himself from nicking his scalp with them when putting up his hair, their pointed ends absurdly sharp for hairpins. He pinned back his hair and pulled at his clothes until he looked as presentable as he could before he rounded the corner to look for his instructor.

THe teacher stood standing in the grass wearing only the bottom part of hi Gi. He wore no shoes and instead let his feet tred lightly on the blades of grass as if he were afriad to crush them underfoot. He looked up as he heard the sound of someone approaching. He pushed his glasses up back onto the bridge of his nose out of habit.

"You are on time. Please come forward. I will need you to slip on some Gi pants if you wish to work through the excercise I have set up for the day." He had noted that on the sheet it said Fleur was male. But he was dressed in a skirt....not that made much a difference to the man. Many asian traditional clothing had men wearing 'skirts' of some type.

He moved over to rummage through a bag he had brought with him outside. He was surprised the boy didn't bring his dragon..and a bit dissapointed. He was interested in seeing another of those magnificant creatures. Pulling out the Gi he offered them to Fleur.

"You can slip it on under your skirt. In this class you will need to make sure you wear a gi. It is traditional." He said with a nod of his head.

It took a great amount of willpower for Fleur to keep himself from staring blankly at his instructor. He...was going to make him wear pants! Already, this class was a nightmare. After wearing skirts and dresses for so long, Fleur could not stand the feeling of something wrapping around his legs or going up between them. The feeling disgusted and unnerved him.

"...m-may I ask why?" the skunk asked as he reluctantly reached out to take the pants. He knew better than to argue with an instructor, and the faster he complied, the faster this would be over and he could be out of these things. "What tradition?"

Kuyoja paused as he noticed his students discomfort. He turned to face Fleur fully again before he patiently explained.

"A Gi is traditional form of clothing worn in schools. It is like a uniform. Each type of class has its on tradition of clothing style to be worn. There are classes were boy's and girl must wear 'skirts' as per the tradition of the class type. In this class you will be required to wear a Gi. A dress can be combersum and dangerous." He continued his tone flat but seemingly final.

His eyes flickered to the chopsticks in the boy's hair. But he did not comment on them. "Your hair is up and tied back, which is suitable. As soon as you put onthe Gi pants we will continue." He continued with a nod of his head.

"Oh..." That...really did not answer his question, so Fleur was still confused and curious, but he complied anyway so he could be out of these things sooner. Once he had them on, he tried his best not to make a face at the way they felt, instead folding his hands together in front of himself politely to await further instructions.

( OOC: Just to let you know, starting Saturday, I'm going to be on vacation for two weeks, so I won't be able to respond again until I'm back. Going to post in the hiatus thread too, but I wanted to make sure you knew first-hand <3 )

(Thank you very much for letting me know. :3 have a good time and I will await your return)

Kuyoja didn't smile pleasantly as he looked over the skunk boy and only nodded his head as he obliged and put on the pants.

"Good, now we will be learning offensive techniques this class. Have you ever done classes like this before? What are your past experiences? " He inquired as the notes he had were vague. He then continued onwards as if this information he had asked for would not change the outcome of the class much.

"I will be teaching you pressure points and striking patterns. As well the proper way to strike that will cause you the minimal amount of damage unto yourself."

Fleur thought about that for a moment - he really...did not remember much of his last class. He blacked out halfway through it. "I learned some basic offense and defense with a wooden staff," he finally admitted. "But I don't remember much of the class. I blacked out when I was told to spar with another student rather than just performing maneuvers...the next thing I knew, I was home."

Kuyoja stopped a small frown appearing on his face, he half turned back to Fleur as he looked the boy over.

"Do you often have black outs?" He inquired before beckoning the boy to come closer. He needed to know just how frequent the boy had them and though he was no medical doctor he could possible help him over come the black outs if it were just a mental state.

Absorbing the information about the boy using a staff he dismissed it, he would teach the boy from scratch, this technique would prove much more useful to him in the real world than using a staff.

"Um..." Fleur drawled. He did not expect to be asked about that, and his tail twitched as he actually thought about it. "Not really...that was the first time I blacked out that noticeably," the skunk finally admitted, resisting the urge to squirm uncomfortably where he stood. He wished Kuyoja would get this over with already so he could get back into his skirt.

The man stared the young boy down looking him over before absorbing the information he was given. The first time then... he would be careful to make suer it didn't happen again.

"Come over here so I can show you the dummy we will be practicing on." He instructed as he moved to stand in front of upper torso of a manacin which was obviously male. It broad shoulders dwarfed even Kuyoja's but only becuase he had ordered a lager dummy to help ease the kids into practicing.

"Proper striking patterns come after you learn the area's of pressure to strike at. I have these stickers I want you to place them on the dummy to indicate where you think the best places to strike at would be." He instsructed as he was and continued to be rather methodical about his classes. He had to know what he kids knew first...then he could teach them properly.

Fleur twitched nervously, his tail pressed tightly against the backs of his legs. The further the class dragged on, the more nervous and uncertain of this he became. The skunk stared blankly down at the stickers for a brief moment before he glanced up to the dummy and did as he was told. He first placed a sticker on the dummy's nose as he always heard in television shows that breaking the nose was one of the best ways to distract and, thus, escape from an attacker though he had never had to do so himself.

As he placed a few more stickers, one on the forehead and one in the center of the chest, Fleur spoke again, "I always thought if I sprayed somebody in the face first that I wouldn't have to actually hurt him..."

Kuyoja looked over the stickers breifly before turning his attention back to Fleur and his question. He studied the young boy a moment before speaking,

"Whilst that may be a good defense mechnism, and should offer a means of distraction to get away, what if it didn't work? Or if the person you are up against is tolerant of the smell? You should always b prepared for these things."

He then turned his attention back to the dummy, he pointed at the nose one first. "Now this would be an effective body part to hurt if you want to distract someone, but it isn't a pressure point. You would physically have to punch someone pretty hard to either break or cause the person enough pain to make a distraction." He explained before pointing to the next sticker which was the forhead.

"There are some sensitive spots in the center of the forhead you can hit although it is awkward and difficult to hit the right spot as a begginer. itting the side of the temple can temporarily jar a person's vision thus a more effective way to strike." Kuyoja nodded his head as he moved to the chest he tapped it with a hand.

"The chest...is perhaps not one of the best places to strike. Tehre are some nerves that can be struck whcih can temporarily cause numbness in an arm but it is higher up." He explained pointing to where the shoulder would join with the main body. "As well if you struck at the solar plexus," He pointed just below the rib cage and where the stomach would be, "You could effectively knock the wind out of your opponent."

Looking back to Fleur he noticed how uncomfertable the boy looked, "You did well though, just keep in mind you want to do the least amount of excertion for the best effect."

What if they were tolerant of the smell? Fleur had to wonder if Kuyoja had ever actually smelled a skunk before, but, of course, he did not actually ask. Instead, he simply nodded quietly at each explanation, not listening as well as he certainly could have though the information was still stored away in the back of his mind for future use. He hated the thought of hurting anyone whether they deserved it or not - Fleur simply preferred to avoid confrontations, and especially violence, altogether.

Kuyoja looked over to Fleur after he was done speaking, he could tell that this was not a subject that Fleur was very interested in. Turning he faced his student fully, he was a tall man, certainly a strong one. He stood with his hands behind his back his glasses sliding down his nose as he peered down at Fleur.

"Tell me Fleur...why did you sign up for this class? It does not look like you enjoy combat, nor are very interested in learning it."
