By the time most of you see this *if at all*, the Rejected Olympics will be going on. Barton, Aekea, Durem, and Isle de Gambino will be the ones in the running, and I am just curious on who is one what side. State reasons if you must, for here is mine.
As most of you know, I am your one (and only*?*) alchemist. I am half-elven, half-human, and for a sub-race, half-vampire. It's been this way since I started Gaia. This is why I am joining Durem. I must help my elven bretheren, albeit dark elves. I will push onward, to make sure that like last summer's event, Durem reigns supreme!
Tough choice too, since Barton has those centaurs and that angel guy. Then again, I'm not hanging around no nude guy with wings (sorry if this applies to any of you).
And to our great and esteemed leader, I must ask: Are we going to participate in this event as a whole guild? If so, I'm going to have to go awall on this one should you not choose Durem. Sorry, but I've already decided.

well i too joined Durem, both last summer and now. No real reason, other then sticking with the team i picked before. good to knwo we think alike though

I've had no keyboard for nearly a week, and I can't even decide on a team, so I'll probably end up not participating. Why is there no desert city?! Where is Spargus (of Jak III)?! We could've been the soldiers of the wasteland (Dragonforce song)...
So, for those competing, how do the olympics work? What is done to prove one's athletic prowess?

It's basically ten minigames. Click the objects in the right order, shoot stuff with a wacky cursor, tap two buttons to escape fangirls (I've had so much practice in towns for that one). It's actually kinda fun...minus the first day. You had to wash stuff, and I always got a two.

I...lost. It would be alot easier had someone not promised to eat his orphan if he won. Hilarious comic, which your's truely guest stared in first. But alas, we did not win, so he will not be eaten. Least one orphan got swallowed.

I was on Team Durem, as I was in the water-fight, but alas, the event didn't really hold as much of my attention as I thought it would. I managed to score myself a gold trophy from the market though. ninja
Rule #3: Overlord Kokujo never loses. In the event that Overlord Kokujo is about to lose, he wins by default!!
At least the comic gave me a good chuckle. blaugh
