Sohalia sat lounging in a tree above the valley close to her home. The scent of flowers were a welcome perfume to her senses after everything that had happened. In the tree, she could have some semblance of her old life, above the world, watching everything from a higher vantage point.
She tucked her limbs under her, letting her sparkling tail sway back and forth as it hung off the branch. Her eyes were watching a pair of butterflies in envy of their flight ability as they danced among the flowers.

Seraphim walked quietly down a overrun path through a valley. Looking around he sighed there was nothing familiar about this place. Reaching out to the lay-lines he grimaced. The energy there was wild and did not recognize him as a child born from it. Keeping his wings folded close to his back he continued down the path.
Coming to what appeared to be a meadow of wild-flowers he stopped. This world might not be his but that didn’t stop it from being beautiful. Grinning as he watched a couple butterflies dance on the wind he considered taking to the air but decided against it. Until he knew more about this place it was best to remain grounded.

Sohalia watched the butterflies then looked beyond to see a strange male standing there. He was unlike anything she'd ever seen in life, feathered and clawed as if he were part bird and blessed with magnificent wings to rival any normal Tae born of the winds. She grinned to herself, feeling she better find out what he was up to, Aah, this should be fun in any case. She enjoyed the feeling of the blood pumping through her veins as she contemplated how she should satisfactorily see what he was all about.
She drew up her tail and gently leaped down without a sound, but her fur sparkled in the dappled light under the tree and flower petals flew up to dance about her legs, creating a very nice effect.

Seraphim froze, most of his powers were gone but not all. A tingle at the edge of his senses told him he wasn’t alone. He started to ready an attack but was meet with a barrier. Reminded once again that this was not home he turned cautiously around and stared. Of all the things he had been expecting this was not one of them. ‘She’s beautiful,’ was the only thought that went through his mind.

Sohalia kept the male in the corner of her eye with a devilish grin, she stretched out lounging into the flower bed as if relishing the luxury of such soft bedding. Her languid movements a defensive weapon of her own, to lure anyone into a sense of vulnerability about her. She let her sparkling tail swish back and forth as if she didn't see the male, but her peripheral vision saw every move he made.

Seraphim nearly snorted, he had not lived as long as he had by falling for such tricks. Shaking his head in amusement he walked carefully forward keeping a wary eye on her at all times. Reaching out with his senses he was startled. Her energy pattern was different then what he had come to relies was normal for this place. “Your not from this world anymore then I am,” he said in surprise.

Sohalia smirked at the male and sat up only enough to show he had her attention, she was still languid but alert despite her stance. "Yet here we are. Why have you intruded on my private time?" She grinned at him, wondering how he might react, whether it be the norm or something to surprise her. She flicked her tail side to side, waiting for his answer, a habit she had to try and distract others with their sparkle.

Seraphim glanced at her tail uneasy, it reminded him of a ball of light that he would rather forget. Well she wasn’t really a ball of light but that was beside the point. Shaking his head to get his thoughts back were they belonged, he regarded her somewhat annoyed. “If you didn’t want anyone to bother you, you shouldn’t have come to a public place,” he said somewhat icily.

Sohalia grinned and snickered, he was quite the norm and easily enough baited. She let her tail idly flick back and forth and smiled at him, letting her eyes twinkle just enough, "Public as it seems, my family lives nearby and we hold this land as our own."

“You should put a sign up then,” he said still irritated by her tail. Reaching out he grabbed it. “Will you stop that? Your bringing back memories I’d just as soon forget.” Releasing her tail he blushed, it wasn’t like him to lose control. “I’m sorry, that was extremely rude of me.” Looking down a pained look crossed his face. “The only good thing to come from that was Celestial,” he muttered to himself.

Sohalia stretched her paws forward tantalizingly, "Without opposable thumbs I don't see how I could write upon any sign indicating my abode." She smiled at him until he grabbed for her tail at which she narrowed her eyes and looked at him keenly. When he apologized she softened, just a bit. "You shouldn't grab at a girl unless you intend to do something about it." She snickered softly. "So is Celestial your home or some token?"

Seraphim laughed in surprise, maybe she wasn‘t as stuffy as she first appeared. “Celestial is my daughter. Though you’d be hard pressed to get her to admit it.” He took a closer look at her, his first impression proved to be correct she was very beautiful. He slowly walked around her, “Would you like me to do something about it?” he asked with a purr. He flinched and looked quickly around, about now was when Celestial usually showed up and smacked him. He was almost disappointed when she didn’t show.

Sohalia considered a moment, "A daughter who feels shame to be your flesh and blood?" She gave a bitter grin, "I know the feeling."
She purred really low and stretched herself out even more, tossing her head slightly so her hair flicked gently and came down in tendrils. "That would depend, my good sir." Her face was full of mischief and she hadn't felt this alive in quite some time. She decided it wasn't such a bad "forced" outing after all.

Seraphim chuckled, “Not shame so much as embarrassment. She tries to keep me in line when every possible.” Shaking his head he thought ‘Of course she can’t do so if she’s not here.’ He grinned, he was starting to like this strange female. “Depend on what?” he asked mischievously, continuing to circle her.

"Such is the way of children it seems, but if she at least has love, then all is like tiny pebbles to the tide, as my brother might say."
She lingered a moment letting her eyes catch the light and sparkle just right. "Well, it would depend on whether that something would please me of course." She giggled, a lilting melody like silver bells.
