Jishin, having a better day now, was just sitting on top a lovely rock. Normally she'd love to be in a tree, but seeing as there was none anywhere close, she was on the biggest rock she could find. Which was alright. She still had the feeling of dead skin under her claws from the last lion she had met. She had took a bit of his skin and hair off.

She was a bit moody sometimes, and was having a bad day, so she attacked a male lion. Only because she thought he was someone she once knew when she was younger who made fun of her, but now he was sorry. Even if he wasn't that person. He would know not to make fun of anyone. Her tail was twitching every few moments. Red eyes watching her surroundings in case something were to come along.

He was tired. He was very tired. Those days he had no luck with his prey. Maybe he wasn't a good hunter and he knew that. And when the last antelope of the herd slipped off of his claws he got desperate. Not that he was very hungry. After all he was a rogue- he was used to not eating for a couple of days. That wouldn't kill him but the thought that he wasn't a good hunter would. He wanted to finally settle down with the one he would eventually fall in love with and what kind of a head of the family would he be if he wasn't good enough on hunting.
Demani kept on walking in the heat. The weather was scorching and the grass withered day by day, which meant that the prey wouldn't have much to eat, and the water evaporated more and more every day, which meant the lion would have nowhere to ease his thurst.
He walked through the dry grass and through the yellow- getting trees. The shade of the trees wasn't as big and as cool as it used to be in the beginning of the season but Demani was thankful there WAS a shade though it wasn't enough.
In the distance he saw a huge silhouette but the haze didn't allow him to see the creature clearly so he decided the best thing to do was get closer.

Jishin, still watching from her rock, saw something greenish move closer. At first, she didn't think it was anything, but as she went to stare at it. It seemed to be moving, and forming into something more... A fluff ball? She kept watching, now with mild interest. What was that thing?

It took a while before she realized it was actually a lion. She snorted. Not exactly what she wanted to see, yet better then a leopard. For she hated leopards more then any creature on this earth. Her mother was a leopard, and had left as soon as they were old enough. Left with their father, who was a cheetah. She would deny any relation to a leopard. She was a cheetah, in her mind. Even if she looked like a leopard. And wasn't as fast as a cheetah.

Demani got closer and at this point of view he saw that the creature was sitting on a rock so it wasn't as big as he imagined it to be. Nevermind. Any prey would get back a little bit of his confidence. He took slow and tiny steps towards the unknown creature. He got close enough to see that this wasn't what he would call "prey". It was a feline creature. A little bit shorter than himself and a one that had a beautiful beige coat.
He was feeling rather lonely these days. The lion didn't get any company and fun except for the failed attempts to chase and hunt down antelopes. Anyways he didn't want to bother the stranger in no way so he decided to stay where he was for a little while and see how the creature would react when it saw him.

He came closer yet. It didn't take her anything but of a second to tell that he was a male lion. The mane gave it away. He reminded her of moss upon the bottom off a tree. Interesting colors for a creature like himself. Though, she's ran into all sorts of colored felines. One was a cheetah. Who was blue, or maybe it was green. Not his green, but something along the lines of blue and green. Then a lion she'd attack was blue and white.

She wondered if she should say something, or perhaps keep silent. But she was having a good day, so her mood wasn't exactly foul. "What do you want?" She asked rather rudely. But really it was kind to her. She didn't know the means of being nice. Having been teased and picked on by lion cubs. Life had made her bitter at a young age.

"I want..." the feline's question shook Demani a little bit. He didn't expect her to see him and even if he did he didn't expect her to be so straight up and a little bit rude. Now that she spoke it was obvious she was a female feline, a feline creature Demani had never seen before."Emmmm...I...I... nothing really. Just going from place to place doing nothing." he said with no certainty at all. "And what are you doing?" he said not meaning to be rude or anything.
Although the hybrid was sharp on words Demani didn't feel offended or in danger at no way. He felt like he should have company but didn't know where to find it. The only living thing he could talk to in a radius of probably a mile was the female and he wasn't sure if this was a good idea.

Her tail flicked back and forth. First slowly, then more fastly, then slowly again. Her red eyes piled on to his. She was looking at him fiercely. Just in case he were to possibly attack her. Though, he looked like he wasn't going to. Her ears weren't back, but up in a curious manner. "I'm sitting on a rock." She replied. This time not as rude as before, but still kinda rude.

She wanted to think he was stupid, but she could have been doing something on the rock, now that she thought about it. Rather then just sitting there, she could have been pondering something important. Or maybe she was looking at something. Many possibilities. "Don't you have a place to go to?" She asked. Keeping the conversation simple. To her surprise, he had yet to ask what she was. Good, then she wouldn't have to lie.

"Just sitting here doing nothing?" Demani thought. He was the type of a lion that always was able to find time to stop and look at the sky and do nothing. Actually this was really relaxing for him not that he ever got fired up. "Oh is the rock comfortable?" he asked. In this heat the best thing to do for him was to sit on a cold rock or lie under the shade of a giant tree.
When he heard her question Demani was a little shaken. This was the most uncomfortable question he could be asked. He always wanted to have a pride or even just a family and a little peace of land which he could call home. "Uhmmmm... not really. I... I'm a rogue." he replied looking at the ground hoping that the female wouldn't see the expression on his face. It was sad and tortured from all the pain he had through the years growing up alone out there. "Do you have a pride?" he asked curious to know if the female was as lonely as him.
By that moment the lion though the feline was a leopard but when he decided to get closer he realized that the shape of her body was much more elegant that a leopard's one. However she definitely didn't look like a cheetah to him. He actually didn't care what she was as long as she was his company.

She thought about that for a moment. The rock wasn't too comfortable, but wasn't too bad either. Where she wasn't laying on was probably really hot from the sun, which made it to where she didn't want to move at all. "It's not so bad" She said simply in a cool voice.

"Join the club" she said to him as he hesitated to say he was a rogue. It wasn't that bad? Was it? She personally liked being alone, or at least she thought she did. She never had anyone she cared about, so she never thought it lonely. "No, I can't stand big crowds." She said with a smirk. Trying to living up the conversation a bit.

Demani got closer without being worried if she would hurt him or not. As a matter of fact he didn't think of her as a potential danger. He sat next to the rock and gazed at the sky. It was light blue with white flully clouds and some little blue-grey clouds hanging over them. "Beautiful, isn't it?" he said with the calmest voice he had ever had. It really was beautiful. Watching the sky was a big part of his daily activities. This gave him energy and strenght. "I think it's going to be very warm the next few weeks." The lion had something near to a gift. He was able to tell the weather by looking at the skies. It actually wasn't a gift but a practiced thing. Watching the sky all these years made the lion get to know it better.

She watched the other carefully, Not sure what to do. She thought all lions were suppose to be mean. Weren't they? I mean they were when she was a cub and found out she was a hybrid. "Oh... It hurts my eyes" She said honestly. She didn't like the day time. At least wasn't use to it. It wasn't all too bad. "Oh... That doesn't sound too pleasing." She said with a sigh. She was going to try to stay up during the day lately, but now the thought of hearing of heat coming made her not want to anymore.

She placed her head upon her paws and closed her eyes for a moment. She wasn't tired, but didn't want to look at anything. Her tail flicked about, before she lifted her head and looked back towards the male. Perhaps it wasn't bad to let in one friend. "But I am not use to it yet. I'm normally out at night."

This was the second time Demani was told that looking at the sky hurts one's eyes. That was really weird. The lion felt healed not hurt when looking at the sky.
He saw that the female followed all of his movements carefully. Was she afraid of him trying to hurt her?
"So... ehmmm... do you have any children?" he asked not meaning to be rude. He seemed to be interested in the strange female. She caught his attention. "I mean you look young for a mother but I'm not very acquaintеd with your species." he actually didn't know what species she was but he wasn't sure if asking would be the best thing to do.
"I prefer hunting at night myself." Demani said with a partial smile. "It's much more easier to cath prey while it's sleeping." it really was. The item they were talking about reminded him of his earlier failed attempts to hunt down those antelopes. It hit him again. This feeling of not being good enough. He was lonely, he was really lonely. And who would take a good for nothing lion for a mate or who would accept such a lion enter their pride? Though he was really hurt deep inside he didn't show any of his feeling. It was like all this sadness was caged inside his body and the only one who had the key was him and lett this feelings get outside was the last thing Demani would do.

Children?!! What was he on? She gave him a disgusted look. "Children? are you crazy?" She wasn't that old, nor did she even have anyone to have kids with. Though, what he said next she listened, even if she was slightly angry at the fact he'd even think about asking "My species isn't important. And no, I have no kids or a mate, or anything." She felt slightly irritated, but it was just a question of course. Her tail twitched a little, but she went back to being calm and just watching him.

"I just don't like heat much. I also can't see that well in the day." She wasn't blind, just that things didn't look the same. She felt comfortable at night, day was different and made everything all strange and weird. But she'd get use to it. In time. She had to.

Jishin never thought about being alone. Her whole life since she was a cub, she thought it'd be better. Since she was picked on. It was good to be alone, at least most the time. Unless, finding just one other to tag along with you. She grew up hating most things in life. Never really making any friends. Always scaring them off before they could get close.

Okay, so maybe this was a little too rushed. He didn't have to ask her such questions so soon. After all he didn't even show a sign that he liked her. Well, at least he hoped so. "I sincerely apologize! Seriously, I didn't mean to offend you in any way." he felt really bad for asking. The female seemed ashamed or something. He decided not to continue the item even though he was very curious of the female's species.
And Demani was just starting to feel more and more stupid with each and every second. "Uhhh... by the way my name is Demani and it's really nice to meet you." that did it... What was happening to him?! The first thing he did when meating someone new was introduce himself and now he interrupted their conversation to do so. Something really weird was happening or the female effected him in a way he never felt before.

She looked away from him once more. He was odd, really he was. But what did she know? She didn't really know any lions. "Sorry I snapped. Just never ask a female if she has babies unless you know her." She stated. Him stating his name made her wonder if she even gave hers. She didn't remember, best to say it again at least. "I'm Jishin." Her name was powerful, it meant earthquake. She took it as her to be strong, and bitter like an earthquake.

"I'm a hybrid of two types of animals." She found herself saying without really knowing why. "one, I rather not be apart of, another I figure is what I should be more like." She said Thinking of the cheetah part of her. She didn't know if she should be like them. She was no where fast like one. She resembled more of a leopard then anything which she hated.

She didn't say exactly what she was a Hybrid of, that part wasn't important. All he needed to know what she was, she didn't know or care for the exact name of what exactly she was. Nor did she care too much that she was a hybrid. Her father was stupid and fell for some leopard, and then got left with them. Probably not what he really wanted.
