It was another one of those bright and sunny days and Lampitie, as usual, and wandered off. The small spirit cub was bouncing around in the tall grass, chasing after a butterfly that was barely out of her grasp. Her ears twitched and a smile curled on her maw as she sprung off of a rock, snatching the butterfly from the air and holding it between her paws. "Aha! Gotcha~"

Kizrain perked at the sound of another in the lands, head popping up as he sat up like the meercats had taught him, eyes swiveling this way and that. Sure enough it was a neat trick, but it would have helped if he were just a LITTLE bit taller. All he could see for sure was the sea of grass that surrounded him, but movement not far off might be another cub.
With a shrug to himself the Spring Prince set out gamely. "Hello?"

(Sorry for the muleness. xD;; )
"Eep!" Lampetie stumbled as she heard the voice and the butterfly fluttered away. "Oh nuts..." She murmured beneath her breath and she sighed, looking over the the cub where she heard the voice from. "Ah... er.. Hello~" Her head tilted to the side and she smiled, and flicked her tail, jumping down from the rock. "Who're you?"

Opening his mouth to say 'hi' Kiz instead had a face full of butterfly, as for a moment the delicate instect perched on his nose. It was something that happened often to the Spring Prince, so he took it in good grace, grinning as the bug decided he was in fact NOT a plant or flower, and fluttered off to more rewarding perches.
"Erm.. Hi." He grinned. "I'm Kizrain.. The Spring Prince... Who're you?"

The cub gave a light giggle as she watched the butterfly. "Ah, hello there, mistah Kizrain~ Or Prince Kizrain?" Her head tilted to the side. "Ma'name's Lampetie~ Princess of the sinful wind~" Her earrings jingled as her ears flickered and fluttered. "What're ya doin out here~?"

"Well met, Princess." He murmured with a bow. "If I may say, seeing who we are, perhaps first names would be suitable? I confess, I don't much care for formality..."
He made a face, then laughed. "Not that you could tell by the butterfly on my face or anything... As for what I was doin.. Just exploring.. Runs in the family..."

A light smile curled onto her face and the cub gave a nod. "Sure, Kizrain." Lampetie's eyes trailed the butterfly, which was barely still in sight. "Well, butterflies are always nice, and exploration is always..." Her voice trailed off as she searched for the right word. "Entertaining."

"If you're calling me entertaining; I daresay I shall take it as the highest of compliments..." He smiled, glancing after the butterfly himself. "Yes.. Butterflies are nice... One of my favorite insects..."
He nodded slightly and turned back to her. "Other than watching strangers dance with butterflies, what do you like to do?"
