According to the Nintendo Offical Magazin, the new Sonic hoverboard game is being developed, with yet another new character (some green parrot thing).

The game is supposed to come out in winter 2005 (even though the american website says 2006, though that might mean january) and has three new characters, two guys and a girl, all of them birds.
So far we've seen 7 playable characters, with a possible 8th: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, The three bird characters, and MAYBE Eggman.

Actually, I've heard of this a while back, but have not heard anything about the new characters. Anywhere I can read/see them?
And any people who have read Sonic the Comic...
OMGOMGOMGOMG IT COULD BE TECHNO!!!
Techno was Amy's geeky assistant in STC. It would be...INFINITELY... cool to bring her back!!!!!

I've been looking at this for awhile..=3 Sonic Riders, pretty damn cool... xd And yeah, the new charries look quite spiffy, 'specially the green bird-type thing! XP The funniest thing i've seen so far on it, is Amy's special attack! You gotta watch the video just for that! And the fact the movie has japanese voices.. blaugh

In that game Tails seems to be older this time. He's wearing goggles and the hair on his forehead is longer. Thats what I noticed in the video.

The style of making character models has changed. I don't think he's older, just shaped differently.
All of the characters are wearing new shoes and accessories, and in the case of Amy, a new outfit. I think this is just because they're riding hoverboards and it's generally cool to give boarders weird outfits.

Unfortunately I lost a lot of my STCs, but I still have one from like 1996 whee Wrong. They didn't lose the ability to make new plots, that's generally impossible. They simply planned to end it after the SA storyline, which is why the writer of said storyline got to kill Johnny. They repeated stories to see if fans were still interested, whilst giving newer fans a chance to see old stories without having to either back-order them, or buy them on eBay, or something. Also, Tekno wasn't Amy's "geeky assistant", she was a scientist who once made a super-tough and nearly indestructable alloy for Robotnik, who used it to create Shortfuse, and later Brutus. And later still, Vermin. She was, however, Amy's friend and companion on a few adventures. Finally... What's this about a new outfit for Amy? heart
