I just realized that we don't have this thread yet (as of right now: 1 hour to go east coast time). So I thought, why not?
Things to discuss: Zuko's comment at the end of 317 about what will Aang do to the Firelord if Aang is against violence? The preview seems to imply that Aang has reconciled himself to it, but is he really? And how did he get there? Where has Iroh been? How will he re-appear? Some people think Aang won't survive this battle, what do you think? And what are your theories on how the series will finish? Plus any ideas what they're going to do with the Avatar series after this? (Like they're going to stop milking this cash cow!)
My personal ideas: Aang is too young to really be reconciled to killing Ozai. But if he could clear his seventh chakra and channel a previous Avatar who has killed before, like Kyoshi, s/he could probably do it. Or what Roku said about it originally being his fight and Aang having to clean up his mess makes me think maybe it'll be Roku who offs Ozai. Zuko hasn't used his lightning conducting technique that Iroh taught him yet. I definitely think he'll use them tonight. Probably as part of some way to defeat and/or kill Azula. I also hope we get some sort of epilogue to see what happens after the end of the battle. The epic fight scenes may be over, but the story isn't.
As for a new series, and possibly the movie, this franchise is way too popular for them to stop. But since the creators have made a whole world for these characters to act in it's quite possible for them to look at the life of another Avatar. Maybe we'll get to see more of Kyoshi's life. Or... what's his name again? The Water Tribe Avatar before her... his fight with the Face Stealer maybe. Or maybe they can go further back in time to an Avatar that hasn't been mentioned yet. It's also possible that they might some day make a sequel, the same characters many years later and Aang has to bring balance to the world again.
