Okay, so I need help deciding which instrament to play this marching band season. Bass, which I love to play but I don't really have the self-confidence to play all by myself. Or flute, which I know that I'm awsome at plus I get to march. Help!

Well, it sounds to me like the flute is a better choice for you, but if you practice hard enough, you could do bass.
Just weigh out the pros and cons. It's really all up to you.
