Home Life : Luis lives with his mother and four older sisters in Southern Scotland in a farmhouse that his mother had inherited from her grandfather when he passed.

Luis' mother - Megara Elizabeth White, aged 42 - works two jobs. Her first one is part time at Flourish and Blott's bookstore in Diagon Alley and the second one is a waitress at the Leaky Cauldron. She is a brilliant witch who graduated top of her class at Hogwarts as a previous Gryffindor. Works two jobs to support her five kids since her husband left because Luis came out of the closet. He feels as if it's his fault.

Lindsey Megara White, aged 28 is Luis' oldest sister. She too, like their mother, graduated the top of her class as a previous Gryffindor. She works as an Unspeakable at the Department of Mysteries. Lindsey always manages to sneak giving her mother money, even though Megara doesn't want it.

Heather Allora White, aged 25 is Luis' second oldest sister. She graduated from Hogwarts as the star Beater and Quidditch Captain of Ravenclaw. Now she is the starting Beater for the Holyhead Harpies, the all-women major Quidditch team.

Penelope(Penny) Beatrice White, aged 22 is Luis' third oldest sister. She is in her final year of Auror training, coming out of Hogwarts with high N.E.W.T. scores and a prevous member of the Ravenclaw House. Is also a Metamorphmagus, only Merlin knows where she got it from.

Lenne MacKenzie White, aged 18 is Luis' fourth oldest sister and his personal favorite. Lenne just graduated from Hogwarts the year before as an ambitious Slytherin. She is currently training to be a Curse Breaker, she is to leave the coming January for Egypt. Lenne is also the first member of his family to accept that he was gay.

Regulas Orion White, aged 50 is Luis' father who ditched them when he found out about his son. His last words before he left were 'Boys shouldn't be with boys! You are a disgrace to the White family!' He works as one of the top members of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Diving deeper : Luis, as previously stated, is gay. He came out of the closet at the end of his third year, his father left his family later that summer. Luis is extremely sensitive, but puts on a tough face in the event of teasing or ridiculing on his part. He also believes that it is his fault that his father left, leaving his mother to work two jobs. Megara always tells him that it's not his fault, he just doesn't believe her.

As expected, ever since he came out of the broom closet, he has been teased by a few members of his House. Because of that, Addriene Stark - his truest and loyalist friend - sponsoured him to become an Honorary Hufflepuff. Even though he still stays in the Slytherin dormitories, he sits with the Hufflepuffs at all feasts and events. They have accepted him warmly.

Luis has wanted to be a Healer ever since he was small. That was his mother's dream job, and since she didn't get to live it up, he wants to do it for her. He's just...extremely terrible at Potions and Herbology, usually resulting in Addriene helping him. Luis recons that the only reason he was put in Slytherin was so his ambitiousness of being a Healer would be realized.

Taking a closer look : The scratching of quills was the only sound that disturbed the Hogwarts library. Luis sat at a table in the corner, as far away from the windows as possible, as he huddled over an ancient Potions tomb, taking notes to finish an essay that had been assigned earlier that day. He ran his hand through his hair, a familiar action whenever he was thinking hard. The fifth year didn't even notice that his brown locks had fallen out of their usual stubby ponytail. A relieved sigh escaped his smooth, pink lips and a smile-like grimace emerged. He dipped his rather old quill in the pint of black ink sitting a few inches away from his parchment and started to write in his fluid scrawl.

An hour later, Luis emerged from the dusty library. His essay was rolled up and was placed in his bag, ready to be handed in the next morning.
