the fabulous Mr. Smith of course!? I've been wanting to do my hair like his for a while...ever since I started cutting my hair shorter. So help would be much appreciated....all I know is that I have to do quite a bit of teasing.

I'd love to have Robert's hair. Tsk.
Too bad I'm not skilled enough to do it like him.

I wish I knew. Sadly my hair is too long, so it's really hard when I do try. But I Love my hair, I don't want to cut it.

A helluva lot of hairspray and teasin' is what you need. Although does the blow drying do much? I've gotten mine to stay up without it..

i used to have my hair like roberto, and all i did was: 1. don't brush it. ever. (i went over 8 months) 2. after you wash it, put hair gel in and mess it up. 3/ after the gel, put in bobby pins in random places 4. sleep on it when it's still wet. 5 (if you really want to consume time) you can try back-combing, but that just made it look frizzy for me.

I've read that robert smith's hair is naturally like that. He doesn't brush it, he doesn't use hairspray. He just wakes up in the morning. I would advise blowdrying your hair upside down, and then while upside down use Aquanet Super Extra Hold. The stuff is terrible for your hair, but it'll stand my hair on end if I need it to. I use to be able to just blow dry my hair before I fried it and it'd end up pretty similarly to Mr. Smith's.

Hes lying. he could never get it like that by just waking up. I can get my hair just like his. back comb. Grab a piece of hair and with a baby brush just brush down fastly. A little hairspray work too. I also use wax. It works good for me smile

Backcombing.. Hair gel, hairspray, brush and pain. Got it for nights out. It is not reccommended to wash your hair prior though.

I have my hair like that right now ^_^ Just back comb it, dry it upside down and use a lot of hair spray. Some people here have said to use knox or eggs, but don't cause it weights your hair down and will only stay up for a little while. I also don't comb mine and wash it with dreadlock shampoo, but that's because I keep it like this every day. Tis my hair Not a very good picture though cause I was on a dark stage But yeah I have Robertish hair, and a long bang in the front that I leave down. Kinda Davey Havok ish.
