It is good to do that cuz if someone hack you and you want your stuff back you have to tell the admin what you had.
Keep in mind that this guild is public that means everyone can see the post in here. I can put this in the solved problem, the sub that most poeple don't surf in.

Whoever told you that just wanted to be curious of the things people had. It's not safe posting your inventory because it would give people ideas. and then if they try to guess your pw too many times it would temporarily ban you and that could be kind of annoying.
