Oliver sat leaned against a tree. His morning had been rather uneventful. He had eaten, done his yoga, took a walk, and now here he sat. He hadn't had to stop evil or fight crime for a long time. He was beginning to think that Namiah was one of the safest, most peaceful places to live. And also... a little boring. Not that he minded peaceful. When things were peaceful that meant everyone was safe. But it left him with nothing to do; and so he was feeling a little useless.

Brightshadow was coming to the top of a hill when she saw the other Namir, slowing to eye him carefully. Once again wandering Namiah trying to find her Clan this was only her second time coming across someone. She had begun to wonder if all the Namrah just huddled together as a Clan in the middle of the land. It would sort of make sense that they didn't have to defend thier territory as it was surrounded by water, but besides the first fact about their travelling she couldn't come to make herself think of them as a Clan. Nodding at the stranger Namir as she came closer she called, "Hello... Who are you?"

Oliver looked up at the female anthro and smiled. "Why, hello. Oliver Queen," answered as he stood. "And what's your name?" He hadn't really expected to find anyone way out here. He was surprised, but what a pleasant surprise.

"I'm Brightshadow," she replied, "But my freinds call me 'Brish'." Remembering a movie she had recently seen with Neko, she found she couldn't resist adding, "At least they would if I had any freinds." She found this funny and somewhat sad, mainly because she could say it because she had very few freinds.
(Okay, she has...
Freinds: 1 Acquaintances: Three (now four) Enemies: 1
That's kind of her tally sweatdrop )

"I go by Oliver or Oli." He paused, thinking she must be kidding about not having friends. "I don't believe that at all," he said seriously. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
(Aww! Well Oli doesn't have many friends either. Mainly because I got him not all that long ago though)

"Don't beleive what?" Brish asked, blinking as she had just been going through her tally in her head. Stepping off the somewhat invisible path she had been following, she stretched her back and cracked her neck, deciding she had done wandering for one day.

"That you don't have any friends. That's nearly impossible to believe," he said, trying to keep his expression serious.

Brightshadow placed her hands on her hips and stared back at him seriously. "I have one freind; her name is Pandora; that's it," she said, then winced, "I also have one enemy... A certain Faite who tried to steal my tree... stare "

His grin finally broke free. "So you do have friends after all. And an enemy.." he frowned. "I suppose enemies are inevitable. I'm sure I have quite a few." He looked at her wonderingly. "Your tree?"

Brish sighed, arching a brow at his grin before grinning back at him. "It was my home base for a while; I would go back to it to sleep every night until I knew enough about the territory here that I wouldn't worry about getting lost," she explained.

"Home base...sounds like a good thing to have. I guess you could say I have one of those." He thought of his home. "So I take it you're not from around here?"

"It was," Brish nodded, "And no, I come from SilverClan, but I have no clue where it, actually I was the one taken away, so, where I went." She frowned a little, once again feeling her frustration at not being able to find her way back. "I know this place is called Namiah, and it's not a bad place, actually it's quite nice, but I really want to go home..." she said, inwardly cursing herself for how pathetic she sounded.

"I see," he looked at her, trying to read her expression. "I'm not good enough company for you?" He smirked. His expression softened into something more worried. "Namiah isn't all that easy to leave. It's an island, you know. So unless you have a boat or a jet..." He shrugged.

Glaring at his smirk, she was about to reply with something rude, but cut it off as he continued to talk. "What's a boat? And a jet?" she asked, confusion flickering over her face, "Are they some kind of Twoleg contraptions?"

"Twoleg?" he laughed. "You referring to humans?" He raised an eyebrow. "They are created by humans for faster travel and for travel overseas." He nods.
