 Lilith pranced through the flowers, careful to not squash them. A light breeze blew past her, making her blanket flap gently. She was glad it was warm enough, but was a little worried because of the dark clouds that were approaching. She sat down to watch the sky, suddenly feeling very lonely.

Gossimer ambled through the flower feild, his eyes drifting lazily over to the darkening horizon. Pausing to sniff the flower's sweet scent, he noticed another Namir sitting among the breeze-dancing petals, tilting his head to the side to watch her watching the clouds. He normally didn't see many Namrah this far out in the feilds.

Lilith flopped down into the grass, keeping her gaze on the sky. She decided that she was going to try to enjoy the storm if it came instead of being miserable. She played with a flower, pulling its petals off one by one. "He loves me; he loves me not; he loves me; he loves me not," she said as she pulled off each petal. She wasn't actually thinking of anyone in particular.

He continued to watch with interest as she bepetaled a flower and spoke to it someone loving her or not. A little bemused, he decided to see who she was. "Who loves or loves you not?" he asked, calmly padding up to sit in the grass not too far away from her.

Lilith leaned her head back to see where the voice had come from. As she looked at him upside down, she smiled cutely. "Why you, of course!" she answered with a laugh. Though she had no idea who this Namir was.

Gossimer blinked, taking her seriously at first. Then, realizing it was a joke, he laughed. "And may I know the name of the person I love or love not?" he asked, rolling over so that he was looking at her upside down, or for them now, upside right.

She giggled. "Lilith," she answered as she hugged her blanket tighter. "I think I need to know your name too. Especially if the last petal is a 'he loves me'." She held the flower in her paw, only a few petals remained.

"Well, why don't you see if I do?" he asked with a chuckle, "If I'm to be a secret admirer I'd at least like to know if you're the one I need to keep myself secret from." His eyes fell to look at the petals; awaiting their verdict.

She feigned a pout as she turned her attention back to the flower. "He loves me not; he loves; he loves me not; he loves -" she paused and grinned at the last petal she was about to pull off. But before she had plucked it, the wind picked up swiftly and carried the flower away. "Oh no!" She jumped up, hoping to catch the flower, but with no luck. Her blanket flapped about angrily in the wind.

Gossimer blinked, the wind taking the flower away before he could see how many petals were left. Watching as she hopped after the flower he asked, "So what was it going to be?" He was genuinely curious, his ears perked towards the sight of the fading flower as the now stormy winds whisked it across the feilds. Looking up at the sky to see that the ominous clouds had moved in rather quickly, he stood and walked over to Lilith. "We should probably find someplace dry to ride out the storm before your blanket gets soaked," he said.

She stood still, looking longingly after the flower. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. "It's a secret," she said softly. She grinned and took his paw. "Yeah, I don't really want to get wet." She let go of his paw and pranced a little ways off in one direction, not really knowing where she was going.

"Al right," he said with a grin, his tail flickering in amusement. He chased after her, wondering if she knew where someplace dry was. He knew of a little overhang underneath a tree. But he figured it would be more fun to follow her first.

Lilith looked behind her as she ran, happy to see that he was chasing after her. She ran a ways in the seemingly endless field until she felt a single raindrop hit her on her right cheek. She slowed down. "I don't think I found a spot," she pouted.

Gossimer laughed, almost choking when a raindrop surprised him by landing on his nose. "I know of a place," he said, turning to dash in the other direction, "It's this way!" He led them to a small hill that was mainly made out of an ancient and fallen tree's roots. Most of it was filled in with sand and soil, but there was an opening at the bottom that he paused at. "Ladies first," he said, feeling the rain behind to splash at his ears as he held them over his eyes to keep the water from getting to them. The inside was quite spacious and hollow, the surrounding dirt making an unexpectedly good barrier against the elements.

Lilith smiled and pranced inside. "This is some place!" She walked around the edges of the hollow, seeing just how big it was. She finally sat down near the opening to look out at the now pouring rain. "Glad we got in when we did!" She was only slightly damp.
