So as you Naruto fans know the Byakugan is a special power of the Hyuga clan and Sharingan comes from the Uchiha clan.
So which do you prefer and why?
Which would you want to have????

Personally I love the Byakugan itz just way cooler ^-^

I say Byakugan because...c'mon...you can see through stuff.

Not only switch bodies if "the real one's not there" means what I think it does. He can control several of his bodies at once, even if he's not around, and sees everything those bodies see, which leaves literally no blind spots for 'him'... And apparently its Genjutsu is stronger than even the Sharingan (and maybe the Mangekyou Sharingan.) I doubt anything short of "SSJ9 Naruto" (as my girlfriend nicknamed the possible KyuubiNaruto's full form,) will be able to beat that b*****d.

And, ******** it, I still think Pain is Konan. It's always the smiling, silent one.

Both Byakugan and Sharingan are pretty good special powers to fight and train with depending on their lifestyle and clan. I would want to have Sharingan, it will help me read my opponents' fighting style and counterattack them with my own justu or with their justu.

Sharingan: Normal can copy techniques after only seeing them once.
Mangekyou can trap the foe inside an illusion, or as Kakashi demonstrated, even be used in a more destructive way (he can destroy stuff with it.)
Amaterasu is a supposedly unstoppable flame that's always been stopped.

Byakkugan lets you see miles ahead, lets you see your opponent's chakra points, and lets you see in an almost perfect sphere around you.

I'd think Sharingan, too, since the Rin'engan (which I liked most before) is getting annoying.

Sharingan, just because I personally would find it more useful. : P

As a reality check for people for those talking about which technique they'd rather have (versus the, "What technique is better?" because this would null, with some exceptions of the Sharingan argument coming later), I'd like to point out the flaws of both, if you ever could attain them both in real life.
I spend waaay too much time thinking stuff through. : P

While Byakugan lets you see almost 360 degree vision, miles ahead, and chakra points and etc., unless you were trained or exposed to it, it would be an incredibly disorienting experience, almost comparable to a blind person being able to see (without having experienced sight in years). You would have to be able to adjust to the new information taken in by your enhanced vision, but unless you learn how to control it, it'd be incredibly handicapping.

As for the Sharingan, seeing your opponents' techniques and being able to copy them is only useful if you actually have the capability to do so. Early in the series when Sasuke first activated it (I can't remember the exact circumstances), there was an instance where he could read his opponents' move but because he wasn't skilled enough at that point, he couldn't react to it. In otherwords, you're stuck watching and moving in slow motion for disaster. Ohh, fun.
I'm not going to bother getting into Mangekyou and the others, because I'm pretty sure everyone knows what circumstances are needed for those to be attained. I seriously doubt anyone here (even in the hypothetical Naruto-verse or not) would do so. Not to mention the lovely onsetting blindness that would occur if you used it.
