Feel free to post any of your drawings and sketches in here. This will serve as a completely random forum of miscellaneous things. Please include a title or description, as well as a list if whatever media you used(i.e. pen and ink, pastels, charcoal, colored pencils, etc). Also indicate whether it was drawn on paper (notebook or drawing paper), canvass, or whatever else.
For example, the following is a sketch I did a few years back. I used pencil, ball point pen, colored felt tip pen, and white and black charcoal on a standard sized piece of notebook paper. There is really no real inspiration to this, other than complete boredom.

Repetitive crap, such as this one.. English Class, sophomore year of highschool with a bag of colored pencils and a piece of lined notebook paper..

Great drawings! Are you planning on doing any more with them? some shading would really bring them to life.
As for my sanity.. that very colorful picture was actually what started the gradual decline of sanity and my obsession with tedium lol.

winry have a cute style of drawing biggrin and brian's are more into abstraction yet high detailed...but I have one thing to ask...is anime-ish manga considered art too? because I can't really draw with charcoal, or brushes and stuff, plus I don't own a scanner o.o So, is my anime-ish drawing still considered an art here? o.o because i only draw using my tablet and photoshop o.o

Excellent question. I tend to consider drawings would be something done free handed. If you're using the photoshop programs to draw it up and whatnot, probably stick them in the digital gallery..

So, you want to see art eh? Well, here's one that I can show you. Hope you like it: Title: Qote Siannodel Description: Really, it's just my D&D character, but I needed somthing to draw at the time, so I drew her.
I wish I could get it colored, but I'm terrible with shading, and I don't have any good programs to color it with either.

Very nicely done! Shading is tricky.. one of the easiest ways (aside from smudging which I don't really like to do) is to just really really lightly shade the whole area of everything you want shaded, keeping your pencil strokes at an angle..like ///// only.. pencil and shading.. then lightly again go back and shade the areas you want to be darker, using light strokes still, don't make it too dark. Use alternate angled brush strokes, never go horizontal or vertical. so you'd do another light layer of \\ over the first layer of /// which makes xxxx.. keep doing this and you'll end up with a pretty smooth transition. Takes a lot of patience and time though.
Charcoal's a hell of a lot easier, and about the only time I'll smudge or blend.

Well now, thank you much. I still have trouble, but now that you mention it, I do remember the // then \ to shade, but I haven't been in an art class for a while. Heh, my loss. I'm better with normal shadows, but when it comes to color, I can't do as well. Probably why most of my art is pencil sketches. Well, thanks again really, oh, and just to show off a bit more, here is a sword I drew. I got the I dea from the Kingdom Hearts two logo, but I like the way it turned out. Title: Heartbroken Description: Just made it from the Kingdom Hearts II logo, as just mentioned above
