i reckon brass.

because the guys who are [were now] in my band were always loud.

and we had so many trumpets that were guys they drowned out everyone else, so...

i would also say brass or low brass the trumpets always out play us trombones no matter how hard at least i try it could be that there are like 9 trumpets and 5 trombones but we are suspose to be the loudest right?

Percussionists.. They're loud and obnoctious and don't know when to stop...

But when you play them right they can sound muchos excellent wink

It depends on the guys.... here's what I think instruments represent when it comes to guy.

A. Percussion: They're obnoxious and rather monotone when played right sound really cool.

B. Bassoon: A bassoon is very tempermental and if you touch it wrong it'll start to growl. (My bassoon growls a lot...) Also, it can be loud and obnoxious but when played just right makes beautiful music. Not to mention they're very sensitive.

C. Tube: Big, bulky and in your face. Tubas are caucky and think they're all that. A tuba's best buddy is a piccolo. (Hey, what can I say? Us little guys gotta stick with the big boys or people try and shove us around)

D. Piccolos: Virtually indestructable but if you talk to them wrong they'll shatter. Of course they're also caucky and love to stick with the tubas. Don't step on them or they'll break. Also, if you anger them they'll start to scream, and no one wants that.

E. Trumpets: The instruments who beleive they rule the world. Trumpets are fairly over-all stable instruments but tend to be rather sarcastic.

F.Oboe: A shy instrument. They're easy to push around but don't shove to hard or they'll pull out their reeds and scream. They can't squeak like a single reed, but they sure can be loud when needed.

G. Clarinet:They may seem shy and emo until you get in their faces. Touch them wrong and they'll squeak in your face.

H. Saxiphone: yet another caucky instrument. They're all in your face and generally fun to be with. They love to be around people and die for attention.

I know I know... there're other instruments but those're some of the ones I could add personalities to. So tell me, what do you think?

Im a guy and i have to agree with this person. But i do have to add one more instrument. The trombone. If u play with its slide it can make beautiful music. rofl

sweet, im a low woodwind (bari sax) i must be sexy! XD
but yeah id say guys would most likely be brass/low brass just cuz it fits most of their personalities

when i was in band most of the boys were in brass and low brass. i think most of the guys in my band though that woodwinds were "girly" *snort*

Well, the brass is kind of a stereotypical section for boys to be placed in.

I don't really think the instrument defines a person but I think the person defines the instrument.

In my band this the way that most of the guys in each of the sections act.

Flutes: These boys are extremely responsible and brilliant. They may act all high and mighty but they are truly nerds. (One of them is hot though)

Clarinets: Some of them are timid and don't talk much. Others are absolutely insane and scream things like "I'm going to drop a chandelier on you!!!" (Phantom of the Opera reference)

Alto Saxophones: Quite cocky. They always know what they're doing so us intelligent people learn to follow the alto saxophone section. The boys are usually quite interesting and easy to get along with.

Tenor Saxophones: They travel in a pack. They aren't the most talkative and mostly ignored but they secretly plan the destruction of the band...(Just Kidding)

Baritone Saxophones: Ignored. Nothing much to say about them because there are only a couple of boys playing the instrument.

Trumpets: These are some of the weirdest people. They scream "WOOOOO" (Kind of like a cowboy yell) when something they like happens. Cocky....lovable.....altogether strange.

Tubas: They are very punctual. There is always a tuba that stands by the gate twenty minutes before practice actually starts. I've seen some eccentric characters in the tuba section but I haven't spoken to any of them.

Baritones: Nothing much to say about them...They are mainly like the tubas only not as punctual.

Percussion: I love these people. They are extremely hard-working and disciplined. They are some of the strangest people I've ever had the chance of encountering but they are probably the second best section in the band. (Sorry, piccolo section wins!! By the way, I am the piccolo section)

No bass clarinet...sadly....='(
No oboe...sadly...='(
No bassoon...sadly...='(

Trombones: Hmmm...difficult to describe...They are all different....Unique section.

Mellophones: These boys are very popular with all of the sections. They are the ones that my band teacher usually picks on the most.
