The afternoon was muggy and dense, only adding to the pregnant preteens wretched moods. She and Red were walking into town to go to an all you can eat buffet. She woke up that morning and after her usual bouts of morning sickness got the most unusual cravings and she needed to go and quench them.
The blue dragon seemed quite pleased to be going to some restaurant where the words 'all you can eat' were in the title. He was less than pleased at the very...ordinary and dull features of the building though.
After paying Damaris immediately started loading up a plate with the strangest combination's for herself, then Red butted her leg reminding her that he didn't have aposeable thumbs. The girl then started throwing things on another plate for Red. Luckily in Gaia animals in restaurants weren't really discriminated against.

The world was in all ways grand today, how could he not be in the best mood ever? He was done with his shedding which left his scales gleaming and new, he had the fun to teasing a little girly boy in the elevator earlier that day, and now he was off for all he and Baroness could eat!
"I wonder what idiot thought up that idea? Hes gonna be kicking himself by the time we are done." He said to the Wyvern that he was riding on top of, his long coils winding through her spines.
She gave a draconic chuckle, "Yeah, eat them poor." She said.
Surely they should have thought it through before putting one price on as much as a person could stomach. Given he felt like he could eat an entire deer without chewing like the snakes in the nature shows he was all ready for this meal!
The pair walked into the place and stopped in front of the one in charge of seating, "Two please, me and my lady here." He smirked and flicked his tongue out at the guy.
The man seemed to be trying to decide if he should say anything about the 'lady' comment, shook his head, gave up, and turned to lead them to a table.
"Bring me some coke and water for her." He said, sliding down off her back. He chuckled as the guy rushed off and moved to get desired drinks, "I love waiters, get to order em around." He said as he went to fetch some plates.
His mind was on one thing currently: Food. So it was Baroness who first noticed the fact that there was another dragon here. Her yellow eyes widened and then narrowed a bit. Was there going to be enough she wondered, slightly panicked at the idea that food might run out. As such she gave her boy a nudge to hurry him up in dishing up food.

Damaris moved off to sit down at her table when she heard Red start growling a little in his throat. She looked down at him and then over to where he was looking. She spotted Ter and his dragon at a table not far from their own.
She rubbed her temple a bit but continued to head to her table. Maybe if she ignored him she wouldn't have to deal with his crap today. She set her plate on the table and Red's on the floor when she got there.
Red gave a huff at the wyvern. He was here first and thus this was his territory. She should respect that and know that he comes first here. He thought to himself with an arrogant nod before pile driving his face into the food.

Baroness' eyes went wide when she heard the growling and huffing sounds from the Blue colored dragon. She turned slightly so she could better glare at him, barring her teeth in a manner that said she was going to back down before her tail set to lashing behind her. Men, always thinking they should get their own way she thought to herself.
Ter looked up from his plate to the dragon who'd gone tense next to him. He half expected to see Vorel or Keir around since it was those two that were best at getting her riled up. Instead it was a dragon he'd never seen before... with a girl he had.
"Well now..." He finished piling up food on his plate and slithered that way, she was on his was back to his table after all and it would be rude not to say hello, "Hello there, Lizard. Out and about spreading love and peace?" He asked, his tone teasing at the moment.
Baroness grumbled as she followed after him, he had their food and was getting to close to the dragon that might take it!

Damaris cringed when she heard the snakes voice. She really didn't want to deal with him today, "Hi," She said simply turning to face him. She looked tired, and a little disheveled, after all she was just vomiting before she came here.
"Well maybe I would have but the dove dropped dead as soon as it saw you." Damaris replied to his snarky little comment. Normally she wouldn't mind, and in the back of her mind she felt that was a little uncalled for. Right now though, she wasn't too concerned.
Red was still preoccupied with his meal and thus didn't pay attention to the boy who had approached them. For right now nothing but him and his food existed.

"Then let me guess one of the two of you ate it?" He said, looking between the girl and her dragon noting that they were both a little on the chubby side.
Baroness gave a chuckle before turning to munch off of one of the plates that Ter was holding. Was this another of the fun games like what they'd played in the elevator to scare the little rat-dog boy? Her tail swished a bit, they were always the funnest of games.
Ter sat down in the seat across from Damaris, uninvited and took a bite of his food, "Not up for another debate? I'm a bit disappointed. Your one of few who gives a challenge."

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Damaris said with a sharp glare at Ter. She didn't much care if he called Red fat, and she very well knew what he meant, she just wanted to see if he had the nerve to say it again. The hormones in her set her temper off a bit, she was in no mood to deal with this stuff right now.
She looked quite scary actually. The disheveled look, evil glare and clenching and unclenching fist at her side made her look like a time bomb.
Red was still paying them no mind, he even had closed his ear flaps to drown out their noise while he enjoyed his food. A skill he found very useful.

Ter looked at her for a long moment before giving a shrug, "Just saying, looks like the two of you have eaten your fair share of... doves." He said. The girl had a look about her that was just challenging him to repeat himself and he wasn't one to back down from any challenge no matter who was issuing it. It was one of his biggest weaknesses, an overabundance of of something that was a mix between courage and stupidity.
Baroness wolfed down the food on her plate, nearly inhaling the plate as well before looking at her boy. He seemed rather busy so she laid her head on the edge of the table and reached oith with her tongue to steal food off of his plate. It was all she could eat after all, never said it had to be off her own plate only.

"You are damn clueless aren't you? Think before you open your mouth." She said with a scowl. Damaris wasn't going to admit what was really going on with her just yet. Though if this irritation of hers kept up she was prone to use it to her advantage.
Even if Red was listening he'd hardly care. An inferior comment from an inferior being meant little to him. The snake meant even less in the Blue's eye's seeing that his girl didn't seem to care much for him. He finally wolfed down the last of his food. This is where he would run into trouble. If his girl was busy arguing then that meant he would have to wait for more food. An idea he did not much care for.

Ter gave a shrug of his scaly shoulders, "There is a difference between clueless and not caring, I'd fall more under the second category." He said, then looked down to find his plate empty aside from some slobber. He glanced over at his Wyvern who starred back doing her best to look innocent. Hard to do when one had sauce on their mouth from stolen food, "Scaly pain in the backside... go get your own if you want it."
Baroness blinked then perked up at this thought, she could get food of her own? She didn't have to wait? She turned to look over at the buffet and was already figuring out what she wanted before even taking a step toward it. Everything meat, the humans were free to eat what they wanted for the vegetables and fruit.

"No...you're pretty clueless." She said pinching the bridge of her nose, "Can't you just go away? I'm not in the mood to fight with you today." She said.
Damaris looked at her plate and grabbed a pickle and some macaroni and cheese and shoved it her mouth. She hated these damn weird cravings, but god it tasted good.
Red butted the girl with his head trying to instruct her to go and get him some more food. He noticed though the wyvern get up and make her way over to the buffet. Red would not stand for this, if she were allowed to eat out of the buffet he would too...and he should have first pick. He quickly left his girl making a B line to the buffet and standing on his hind legs so he could reach the food.

"Really?" He looked honestly disappointed, "That's to bad, your willingness to fight with me was what made you cute." He pushed up on his coils so he could watch where Baroness had gone followed by the blue dragon. He couldn't help but laugh as the people had hurried off away from the buffets when the dragons approached, his laughter got that much more amused when the dragons just dug into the food right there, forgoing the use of plates.
"Damn... gonna get stuck with nothing good to eat." He muttered, flicking his tongue out.

"Thank you..." Damaris said as the snake finally gave in. She then started to give into her hormonal rampage and started downing the most bizzare combinations of food. Anyone who didn't know she was pregnant and saw her would have given her a pretty weird look.
Red was busy trying to out eat the Wyvern. He could tell she was bigger than him, it meant she had a bigger mouth. So he had to be quick, eat as much more than her as he could. He needed to try and eat at least more than half so he could be satisfied knowing he bested her.

Ter gave a shrug of his shoulders, "Ahh... not a problem I guess." He said, getting a little bored now. That was a shame, she made that class he was stuck helping out with fun by having a full blown argument with him.
"I wonder if they ever pictured this scenario when they put up the big 'All You Ca Eat' sign." He said out loud, half to himself and half to the girl if she were listening, "Don't choke! I doubt anyone could do the Heimlich to someone your size Baroness!" He called over to the Wyvern when he saw her attempting to eat without chewing. This was what he called entertainment, an eating contest between two dragons. He almost felt bad for the owners of the place... almost.

Damaris peered over at the two dragons before shaking her head. She decided to eat quicker. She realized soon enough she'd get kicked out from her dragons antics. And she wanted to get her meal at least.
Red grunted as he tried to keep up with the wyvern. He was younger but very versed in the art of eating. He wasn't going to back down and he was also lucky he wasn't choking yet.
