 The sun had set a while ago, the more distant celestial bodies getting their chance to shine through the blackness of the space between them. Domevlo watched as more little lights rose up from the grasses of the fields. The fireflies were captivating, getting lost and found again amongst the starlight. He'd invited Iris here on a date, he hadn't spent time with her in a long while and was dying to see the female Namir again.

Iris walked along the field stopping ever now and then to watch the fireflies in amazement and wonder. She was over joyed to see Domevlo again, yet nervous since she hadn't seen him in so long. She hope their feelings for each other were still their. Giggling, she shook her head in amusement. Dom would have never invited her if he didn't still feel the same, right?
Gathering all the courage she continued on until she spotted the male.
"DOM!"

The familiar shout of his nickname had Domevlo turning around so fast it nearly gave him whiplash.
"Iris!" She looked so pretty to him with her fur glowing soft lightly from the little floating lights; it was all he could do not to bound over to her at top speed. Restraining himself, he managed a casual (if quick) stride. "H-Hi." He said, a shy grin on his face. "I'm glad you came."

Iris laughed softly as she walked over to Dom, closing the distance between them. She always loved it when Dom got shy since it was so cute to her.
"Wll I'm glad you invited me Dom. It has been a while since our last meeting, and I've missed you a lot." Iris gave a soft and gentle smile.
"So, what do you have planned for tonight?"

'She missed me!' He thought, flattered that she'd missed him, but also a little guilty that he'd made her wait.
"Well, I don't have anything extravagent planned. I was hoping we could go for a walk and look at the fireflies." Domevlo was captivated by her gentle smile. For the longest time he had been dibilitatingly shy, but since he met Iris it had been receding.

"That's ok" Iris said as she continued to stare at Dom. She couldn't take her eyes off the male. Sure she had seem him many times before, but tonight he seemed different in her eyes."A walk with the fire flies sounds nice. It is sort of calming and simple, yet romantic in a sense. Who knows, maybe we will find something else to do along the way too."
Iris trotted over and stood by Dom, gentle smile still on her face."
"Shall we get going now?"

"Yes, let's," He said, reaching out and parting the tall grass with his paw. With the movement of the plants, several little glowing insects took to the air in a flourish of lights. He blinked, trying to hide the fact that he was a little startled before attempting to playing it off as an intentionally romantic action. "A beautiful show for the beautiful lady," He said with what he was hoped was a charming smile, though he ended up looking rather foolish. Sweet for trying, but foolish nonetheless.
