Hello everyone! I was thinking to myself the other day that most normal people are scared by the idea of insanity. But we aren't normal here, are we? What is your view on insanity? Here is mine:
Insanity is when you talk to walls, hear voices inside your head, think that you are a mythical creature, burn things down, bite people who get near your face, and are much more fun to talk to; even when your sedated.

Hmm... I would say true insanity comes when you believe yourself to be so sane, and perfectly logical, and correct in your opinions, and such a all around great person, that nothing you do could possibly be wrong. Some of the scariest people in history probably fit under that general description.

I would say true insanity comes when you believe yourself to be so sane, and perfectly logical, and correct in your opinions, and such a all around great person, that nothing you do could possibly be wrong. Some of the scariest people in history probably fit under that general description.

I agree completely. It must be nice to go insane rather than have to deal with the life your having that causes a person to actually go insane.

I wouldn't consider myself "insane", but I am bipolar and manic episodes are usually pretty fun.

I wrote a paper on insanity once, one of the quotes I had was pretty decent in terms of explanation. I only wish I could find it... stressed

insanity is what keeps us sane. if you stay sane so long you will go insane. but if there are tiny hints of insanity you should be okay enough to be labeled sane.
