These are the barrack designated for only male recruits! No female recruits or marines allowed here except for the officers on duty! If any un-authorized female is found in here he will be punished severely under the UCMJ!

Down the long corridor on the left and right are metal framed racks with mattresses where recruits sleep. The center, referred to as, "DI Highway" is off limits unless a DI tells you otherwise. There are footlockers at the foot and head of every rack as the racks are doubled up like bunk beds. one on top and one on bottom. Shoes are to be neatly aligned to the edge of the bunk underneath the racks. Footlockers are to remain locked at all times when not in use. The heads are there for when the need arises.

As evening chow has passed and the days of training have been ongoing, it is again that time of day where the Senior Drill Instructor has allowed you the time to make sure your boots are polished, your uniform is taken care of, you shower and hygiene, any letters you need to write are done, and in general anything else that can not be accomplished during the days grueling training schedule. The drill instructor then issing the command, "Turn to Senior Drill Instructor Square Away Time...... MOVE!" And the DI turns about and heads into the DI hut.

This thread is where recruits may actively post to communicate with one another. This is your time to get to know one another and to establish repore as once you graduate these will be your brothers in arms. This is also an rp thread you will be required to maintain all discipline as required of recruits. Should any officer come on deck (make a post in here) All recruits are to pop to attention and shout, "Attention on DECK! Officer on DECK! Good evening sir!" to notify the DI's about the officer. Failure to do so will result in a swift IT session.

That tree you are standing underneath is one of the green belt instructors on duty recruit and he is giving you a stinkeye for reading a book that is not in your green monster (handbooks for learning). Considering you are in a squad bay when there is SDISAT this could get very uncomfortable if you dont put it away as this is "Square Away Time"..

*Begins his duties as SDI inspecting the barracks, pacing about and inspecting the condition of each of the recruits' bunk beds.* Hmm...

Capt Gabuleon looks in from one of the squadbay windows as he passes by and sees that the DI's are doing their job keeping a watch on the recruits and continually checking for ways to make them into better Marines. "Hoorah.." he sighs as he continues onward to his appointed duty rounds checking on other companies.

These bunks are in lousy condition... I'm not the least bit satisfied. Training the recruits ought to be intensified five-fold on the bed-making subject, and I have an idea for a PT session that we could have right here in the barracks in which we make the recruits remove all of the sheets from their beds, make their beds from scratch, do 20 jumping jacks, strip and remake their beds, do 20 more jumping jacks, and then repeat a couple of times until those maggots seem to have gotten the message. Any maggot who screws up will have to do 30 push-ups for each screw-up he makes. If these numbers are too low, we can always ratchet them up. *Grins evily.*
