All right, I had to do it. I'll be in the theater at 12:02 EST watching the newest Batman movie. This thread is my attempt to be first a tool to manage hype and reactions concerning the movie. I have work tomorrow, but if I'm still awake and people are here, I'll be looking forward to discussing the movie mrgreen

A friend of my Dad's from his work actually got tickets to the premiere and he and his wife flew out to see it. He said the movie was awesome!

Drinky McIrish I'll be at a midnight showing as well, I'm excited as all hell. Of course that means I get to see it two hours before you blaugh jk, jk. I've only got two hours to wait now, and it's one of those things that hits you gradually. This movie is actually coming out. Everything that Batman Begins had, plus new characters...this really is going to be the best movie of the summer, isn't it?

I'm excited, I've watched Gotham Knight three times since monday, and Batman Begins about five... Also, the first five minutes of Dark Knight are on the Batman Begins Blu-Ray... I've been watching that as well... How many times do you anticipate seeing it in theaters?

Scarecrow isn't in Dark Knight. But he is in Gotham Knight.
I really can't wait to see Two-Face though, I hear they came up with something really demented for the messed up half of his face.
AND DON'T POST ANYTHING UNTIL I SEE IT!

And if he is a main villain, I hope they do a better job than Spiderman 3.

And yes, he did take a heavy dose of the fear gas, as well as a taser to the face, but if you've been following the viral marketing for the movie, he has quite a hand in it.

He didn't die.... he just got tazored by that mary sue chick... and went off running through Gotham during the whole fear gas outbreak.
I think it won't be like spiderman 3 at all.
1)Joker is main villain 2)Scarecrow, despite my fanboyisms, does work good as a side villian 3)Two-Face/his set up is supposed to be small as ********... i.e. a few minutes

I didn't like Gotham Knight at allll.
Scarecrow said like.... 3 lines. And didn't fight batman at all... and sorta kinda drowned.
I was expecting the whole mini-chapter thing to be about him.

Yeah, the whole thing was just way too short and Killer Croc .. not his best interpretation.

Amazing...I'll probably be seeing it again in theaters...
Anyways, Scarecrow did appear, but mostly as a cameo. Two-Face followed the same lines as the Joker and Scarecrow. Nothing cartoony, and he had a real dark aspect about him. As for Joker...I can honestly say that Heath Ledger played one of the best characters ever. Han Solo was good, Agent Smecker was amazing, any thing with Alan Rickman is better than that, but Heath had the darkness, evil, twistedness, humor... EVERYTHING.
Now only one question remains...to trilogy, or not to trilogy? Dark Knight would be a great end to this story. Very dark with the right ending here, but they could take one more shot at Batman, adding to the universe. The unfortunate part is that the Joker would have to be enigmatic, and pretty much non present, for no one could recreate that.
