Many new members come into clan chat and even in this guild to talk about runescape.

But soon they feel like they don't fit in and flee.
Before even giving us any chance to "be friends" with them or to make them feel welcomed.
But you know, that is not the case because (like i said in clan chat this morning) that our guild and clan chat is just like prison. (Tary: "bend over")

You have to do several things before you can fit in, or find a place within the guild, or to have at least 1 person act nice and become your friend. Which things turn from there and you are part of the guild. :3

But they don't know how us, already guild members and clan chat members, were once newbie to the guild and how we were treated and felt about the guild and clan chat before becoming great friends and well, close to internet family.

So why not tell your side of the story when you first joined the guild?

*i know some of you guys were not treated like the rest of us, but do tell of stories about members coming into the guild and how the guild act towards them but in the end what really happens... 40% of the time*

lets see my guild story.....oh yeah i did a typo when writing a site and got on gaia and then i saw the runescape guild so i joined my computer broke down for a year and i came back i had no idea who the new people were (people like kail, lizzy, and other people) and then i was treated normally.

ok mine... well i just got my character back after quitting for 2 years, so i was looking for a rs guild on here and this seems pretty good, so i applied and got accepted. i posted on here and such and became fast friends with felix and the only person i ever had difficulty with was zerg :p but yea i think i'm pretty much cool with everone and cant think of any people i hate in here (besides d2t....... just playin man domokun ) but yea, thats my story, just be yourself and dont take things seriously, you'll never come out alive ^ ^

(still wondering how me and kail became friends..... ^ ^ but he's a good buddy, just dont go into a dark room with him surprised )

I joined the guild about a year ago because a lot of my old runescape friends were quitting and I was getting lonely. My first actual friend in the guild was Beef Snibit. I slowly started making friends with more of you.

I remember after a few months I almost quit because I got in a little fight with Lizzy and Zerg. I don't remember what it was about exactly. I knew lizzy didnt really like me because of something about ovaries, I really dont remember..

Anywhoo. After Ive been in here longer.. Look! Me and Lizzy are pretty good friends and Zerg and I are an item.

And about the guy who fled earlier, I didnt know that was my fault. hehe my bad whee

Just looking for a Runescape Guild to chill in and this one seemed fine. =]

3 years ago i was watching tv. G4, Filter wasn't canceled yet and decided to drool over Diane Mizota a little. They had this little website suggestions thing and someone suggested gaia online. Hm, seemed like a nice site. Checked it out. I was reluctant to join at first. But went on with it anyway. All the usernames i thought of were taken so i randomly type in "Fujistu" and it accepted it, so i kept it. I hanged, fished, joined a few guilds. Then a few months later a discovered Runescape. Started playing. About a week in i thought:"... I wonder if there are any runescape guilds on gaia." Searched: "Runescape". "The runescape guild" was on top with "the official runescape guild" right under it. I thought that was kind of weird. But i noticed that this guild had more members and more posts.

Applied, was accepted. Can't remember by who. Lurked around mostly. Observing the members. Sometimes i was like: "Wow, these guys are assholes." Some people from back then i don't see anymore. Posted some s**t, helped out where i could. Observed dumbasses. Throughout the 3 years. There were some dissapointing new and old members. Who are still here and active i might add. I'm not naming any names. They probably already know who they are.

Early days of clan chat. Clan chat is like pissing yourself. It was fun and warm in the beginning. Kept you busy. But then it started to stink real soon. With constant bullshitting of leveling up. No interesting discussion. Time to time something mildly interesting could come up. Then they got so desperate to talk about level up that they started talking about exp left to level up. Just so they can throw something in there. Other then that its bullshit mouth flapping "Your word against mine" Arguments and pathetically obvious sex jokes that get old fast.

My favorite people from this guild..... ******** it, people i can tolerate the most. I guess would be:
Airazor, DragonRissa and i guess Kail. Why kail, you ask? Well I guess most of people who joined before him. Well, pre 2006. Like 2005 and down. When he joined were kind of like. The ******** is wrong with this ******** jerkoff? But whats acceptable of him is that he learns from his mistakes. unlike some people i know.

When I first started checking out guilds on Gaia, I actually went for the little gay RuneScape guilds first... I guess I was new to Gaia and wasn't that active and was still a little shy about posting (Well THAT'S changed. :3). Then I realised how small and gay they were and joined this one...

Lurked a while, then posted tentatively a few times. That was about it, really. Got more and more active, made friends, and soon I felt like a real proper guildie.

I never really went through the crap that a lot of new members go through... Maybe I was just lucky. sweatdrop
