I saw Hellboy II tonight and I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. Needless to say it was a very visually impressive film, with creatures and characters so mind boggling you'll certainly hit your fantasy quota ten minutes into the film. The action was definitely a plus as well, with amazingly choreographed fight scenes enhanced with special effects to die for.
Unfortunately, that's where my praise for this film stops. I felt that it's dialog needed a lot of clean-up and rewriting and it's pacing was very awkward.
But besides all that, I must admit. That although it wasn't all that I had hoped, I still liked it. I did enjoy the film through all it's flaws. So that's my review.
