Oogie's efforts recently have been above and beyond - not only has she designed a new banner and logo for guild, started new threads and a guild newspaper, reorganized the forums and redesigned our intro page, but she's shown that she really believes guild can be a great place for all of you if you want to use it.

Please do say thanks to her not just on her Gaia profile, but on her RL blog - Chris Says What? - I subscribe to it and I think you should too.

For each of you: please drop by guild and let us all know how your summers are going. We really do want to hear how you're doing.

If you're really bored and killing time in Chatterbox, try keeping up with my reading group. It was a joy working with Oogie on Shakespeare and with Shattered Life mainly on Dickinson. We're working on Keats now and I honestly think that I'm giving instruction that would cost you thousands of dollars in tuition to get otherwise.

Things in guild are quietish, but it doesn't worry me. Alixyveth and a few others are keeping the threads going. I know we'll get through what seems to be a slow period and be dynamic again. If you open up and feel free to talk about yourselves, things in guild will go a lot better sooner.

I, and I know this relates to many of us, have had almost absolutely no time for gaia lately. I really don't know if I should stay on here. My summer has been hectic trying to keep up with all of my friends. The school year will only bring more stress. I think my lazy gaia days may soon draw to an end. We'll see, but I don't think I'm going to be very active anymore. And Oogie, by the way, sounds to be doing an exquisite job, which I deeply thank her for.

Oogie is doing a great job with contributing to this guild.
Wish I could as much as he does, but...
I am not exactly a guild person, but I do keep up with guilds.
I'm not sure if gaia is important to me right now, since I am busy, but..

Not a problem - it's typical for Gaians to be in and out of Gaia for extended periods.

Most people I know on Gaia have taken off for years and come back.

That's not bad! You've been pretty regular about checking in on stuff here.

Has the "working out" been going well?

I do appreciate the efforts of Oogie and I think that Seldrane deserves praise for being patient with us.
I should really start joining in on the reading group. It sounds uber interesting.
