DAMN, I would kill something. I nearly killed something when I had to start over with my collection (Dad kept deleting all my good stuff).
I concur with the Slipknot. Get some Audioslave because it's contemplative without being quite so heavy. The Birthday Massacre. Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Dave Matthews Band. System of a Down. The Beatles. Guster (don't knock the sound before you've REALLY listened to them). Pink Floyd. Nightwish. The Dresden Dolls. Flogging Molly. Gaelic Storm. Poe. Dream Theatre. Our Lady Peace.
And that's about all I can think of right now. I know, my taste is pretty schitzophrenic, but hey. You're pretty much bound to find something to like in there.
