I thought they said tonight it would premiere....except it is evening for them....gah! Freakin' time differences.
And I bumped this up to "announcement", taking place of the "Play a Role in Oomph!'s New Video!" thread. That was kinda old news now that the video was made...Anyway, hope you don't mind.
Wow, this video...I agree with you, Eisbaer. Dero, or whoever came up with this, is a sick little man. I can translate the chat at the beginning of the video, if people want it, but I'm going to wait until the uncensored version is out. (I can guess what's under the blurries though.) AND HAHA, *****! Tables turned on you. Although I don't get German censorship...they always blur out needles, knives, etc. whenever used in a violent or drug-related way. Like we won't know? This video is so twisted...OMG she's gonna do it again!
...Can you tell I typed that as the video paused? Anyway, I liked the song. biggrin I'm so excited for this album.

That explains why I was confused with their one post. It said something like "The Oomph! boys were so excited that they filmed another video and that's BEMTIW!" and I thought BEMTIW was the video from the contest the entire time...glad that's cleared up! Is it wrong of me to have found that ***** incredibly attractive? redface Before, you know, she started surgically removing his p***s chunk by chunk or whatever the hell she was doing.I'm actually surprised at how much criticism this song/video is getting from fans. I was on the forums and several people said it was too bloody. I'm a squeamish person too, but I'm still going to watch the uncensored version, but a few said they would never watch it. But most people seemed to be saying that the song was "ok" and "not different from anything off WoP and GLT". Only a couple fans had posted and said that they were impressed.

Only a couple fans had posted and said that they were impressed. yeah, i signed up for the newsletter, and little melanie whatever won for the labyrinth video, not this one, since the contest was still going on when they shot this. hm....Okay, well, I do agree that it's a bit too bloody, since I am also squeamish, but dero does look hot covered in blood (so do crap and flux -nod-), but yeah, to be honest, the entire "you tried to raep me so i'm totally gonna dismember your little big man" is just a bit too much. It is a bit similar to some songs off WoP (second you said that, i thought wenn do weinst), and.... i suppose a LITTLE like tanz in den tod and maybe dreh dich nicht um, but I really like it. they've never done a song QUITE like this one, where they're only singing in the chorus. (the odd chunkitychunk sound in the bridge-area reminded me of "the beautiful people" by Manson a little bit....) but....hmmh...I don't think really it's fair to say they sound just like the previous albums. That girl had that plan all along. He was hardly raping her, because she definitely knew what he had in mind and was playing along and then....BAM! Surgery time!
I'm quite excited for that piano ballad really. And I agree that the style of BEMTIW was similar to past songs, but it wasn't like....oh, same rythem and whatnot. I happen to like the style they have now, so maybe that's why I'm not so down on the Monster album. (I got chewed out two weeks ago on the Oomph! forum for actually sticking up for it...guy called me a "fanatic" who "wouldn't admit Oomph! did anything bad ever." What I said was just "I know Monster is a bit unoriginal, but I think Oomph! can pull off something good with it anyway.")
And cool, the 18+ version of BEMTIW will premiere in the labyrinth at the beginning of next week.

I told my dad "it's about like, y'know, those myspace creeps(except that messenger is skype >_>), but the girl decides not to let him do anything and eh...turns the tables" and he went "Oh, i bet it's got a lot of influence from Hard Candy" ....my dad knows too much Yeah, i agree, but it's just... i'm a whimp. but yeah. ....how can we who have heard nothing more than BEMTIW even say that it's unoriginal or "just like" the older albums? we don't know, and i'm sure not every single bloody fan on the german forums went to that listening session, i think people should just shut up and wait til august 22nd for crying out loud.

first of all i have to say that Dero is very hot in this video...i haven't watched it all.. the parents are in the room...well def check it out later. wink
edit: watched it and...OMFG that was slightly unexpected...i didn't read the earlier posts redface and uh, wow...but Dero is very Sextacular...i like the part where he was grabbin' that guys neck in the car all like 'don't effin' touch her'. Not my favorite video, but LOVE the song, the beat's very sexy. ^^
