We were first introduced to him in the comics. Next came the cartoons. Then they brought him to life in the movies. They killed him off in the second one. Just when we thought we were done with the Shredder they bring him back in more ways then one with the new toon. Don't get me wrong, Shredder is one of my favorite baddies of all time but ever heard the saying: "Too much of a good thing"? Seriously, they're even bringing him back with the new season thats coming on this fall as the Cyper Shredder. Can't they give us a new baddie or a familiar one from back in the day and just revamp him or her a bit?

I actually don't mind it. They've tried to freshen it up by having other Shredder versions and whatnot. And all the episodes won't have Shredder in it. I'm sure they'll be fighting other people that have nothing to do with Shredder in the next season.

The Beautiful brokenfox yes, i would love to see a new evil other than shredder for a change... What about that other guy...er...uh...I totally forgot his name. He's that dude who is a bad guy in the regular episodes, but turns out to want to be a good guy in the Fast Forward episodes and he has super human abilities and orders Baxter Stockman around. D'oh! I forget his name. stressed

I really don't care as long as it's someelse. I really want the Rat King for some odd reason. Don't know why. I always thought he was pretty cool, or a whole new baddie, I wouldn't mind seeing a female baddie other then Karai and who has no idea who the Shredder is.

I know there's not likely to be any more season, but no more evil utroms. I bet the next step would have been Shredder's bad-boy utrom kiddie showing up with the goal of being even worse than papa....
Beside, the problem with an evil utrom is the fact that they don't look very scary--Utrom-shredder was like a stunted octopus with eyeballs and teeth.

The Shredder is a true legacy character, but I wouldn't mind if they were to expand more on the Purple Dragons. This brings up the issue of whether or not there's gonna be another TMNT cartoon. I hope another is in the works.

Ol' Shredhead is so iconic that I strongly doubt he'll ever truly be cast aside (though I thought turning him into an alien in the new series was kinda goofy), but I wouldn't mind getting to see some other, more overlooked villain in the spotlight, at least for a little while. In particular, Krang would be interesting to see redone.
And to answer the question about the Utroms suddenly attacking the Turtles, the Utroms are an entire planet's worth of beings. There's bound to be quite a few bad apples.
