Nimrodel of Lorinand Captain

I was curious as to if any of you fine people have read UT?
Personally... My favorite part was in "Of Celeborn and Galadriel", "Of Nimrodel and Amroth".
So romantic... heart
Anywho... I was wondering what others thought of this?
I believe 'twas the first book published after The Sil, before HoME came out. CT's notes are a bit dry, but I positively LOVE the lore. ^^

I actually own it, but have never read it. crying I've read the Silmarillion, but; to me, it's extremely hard to comprehend, so most of the Tolkien studying I do is from SILM.

Weird true story: Unfinished Tales was the first Tolkien book I tried to read. I didn't take the title literally, it just sounded cool. I was a bit disappointed when I realized it wasn't the best one to begin with.

I've never even heard of that one. *Off to google*
In all honesty, I'm more of a movie-goer than a book-reader. But The Hobbit was my favorite of Tolkien's stuff that I have read. =)
I'm more interested in the language factor. (Being a budding linguist myself and all. ^_^)

I just finished it. Probably the hardest J.R.R book I have ever read, but one of the best.

I've read bits of it out of order, and I learned a LOT about Middle Earth in one sitting. The notes were dry, yes, but I read them all the same. I bought it about two weeks ago, and I haven't really had time to read lots of it, but I plan to during my next break.

The Unfinished Tales is on my to-read list. Along with the rest of the history of Middle Earth. I've only read one and a half out of, what, thirteen?

Would you recommend Twilight, Aren? I'm trying to decide if I should read it or not. I mean, I LOVE vampires, but if the writing is as horrible as I've heard, I'm not sure if I should.
I mean, I've read all of Harry Potter, but I thought the writing style was a bit juvenile.. I much prefer Tolkien-esque-style writing. Like.. Anne Rice has wonderful vampire stories. Lestat is yummy. And so is Louis. Ima leave now before I get too fangirly.. stressed
