Welcome to the SL General Discussion! This is where we discuss everything related to sign language, including, but not limited to:

-asking specific questions about SL (people who can know SL can help answer others'' questions)
-recommendations for SL dictionaires ninja
-and everything else about the beautiful langauge of deaf people! 3nodding

what wikipedia says about sign language.

I remember something in sign language... but my big sister didn't speak at all first, so she learned some of it... Then she started talking, but we still have a file of them... Now I know some colors, and dad told me some presidents, those are funny...
I would be happy to learn that, why don't they teach those signs to other people too? 3nodding

I know sign language a little bit. My mother bought a sign language book from Borders and I was learning from that for recreation. My mum's friends niece and nephew are deaf and that was the reason why she mainly got the book. I;m not as frequent in speaking in it as much now, b/c of me speaking in German more, but I haven't forgotten about it. smile

Hey, I said why don't THEY...
but it's stupid, if you can only use sign languange, you also need someone to translate to others... at least in here it seems to be so. Everybody should be taught the sign language, right? 3nodding

I know only finnish sign language, haven't seen others. Yet.
