The mall easily was an overwhelming sort of place, if only because of its immense size and all of the people that flocked to it during the weekends. It was why Remi was there on a Tuesday afternoon, when most people were working, and when the mall wasn't quite so crowded as its norm. He could see each little store clearly, and even the items that were on display. The blonde haired teen could even walk without accidentally bumping into someone. Sure, there were still people there, and there was a lot of them. But, it wasn't so overwhelming as it was on a friday afternoon. No, Tuesday was definitely the perfect day to go to the mall to get one's shopping done. It wasn't like Remi had a lot of shopping to do anyways. The boy just wanted to get some new clothes and some toys for the kitten... and maybe some junk food as well.
He had already gotten what he needed for Socks, which was basically a new collar and some cat toys. Junk food was something he would have no problem getting, but when it came down to clothes... Remi was completely clueless. Hell, it was easy to tell that the boy didn't have much fashion sense. He was wearing some old blue jeans that didn't do much for his shape, but he didn't really care. They were comfortable, if not a little worn for being used these past three years. On his chest blared a painful Wally World smiley face, only made brighter by the black background of his t-shirt. Really, the kid was forever hopeless when it came to fashion. His shoes, while nice, were brown... and brown just didn't go with black at all.
Absently teasing his bottom lip, Remi pondered about which shop he wanted to enter next, and in the end he chose at random, and began to sift through the articles of clothing that were lined up on shiny stainless steel racks. It was going to be a long day, with how indecisive Remi could be when it came to picking out anything. It had nearly taken him ten minutes to pick out if he wanted a blue collar for his kitten, or a yellow one.
