 The day was as gloomy as the poor male felt every moment of his life. The clouds loomed in their dark gray costumes as the sky roars in its blackened state only to light up when lightning crashes through it. The rain fell heavily on the earth making all the creatures run every which way to find a place to hide.
Kiyoshi however had no where to run or hide. He sat in his spot with his hood held close. Rain dripped from his hood, hair and face as he did his best to keep dry and warm. He looked around with hollow and saddened eyes wondering how he ever got like this.

Naomi squinted her eyes to see through the rain. She flattened her ears back against her head and made her face go into a pout. She hadn't been expecting rain like this. She sighed and realized she should probably pay more attention to the sky before she went wandering around like she did. Now she was lost, and it was storming. She didn't like being alone, and now was even worse.
She finally walked forward, hoping she would come across something to shelter her. Finally she did see something. It wasn't a shelter, but it stood out in the clearing, however she couldn't tell what it was through the sheet of rain. But she still walked towards it.

Standing up Kiyoshi shook himself to try and dry himself even just a little bit. Shivering, the male spotting a hollowed out tree through his wet hair. Just as he was about to check it out Kiyoshi spotted something from the corner of his eye.
He froze in his spotted as he turned his head to get a better look. From when he could make out he suspected it was another Namir.
'They must be here to find shelter...'
Kiyoshi sat himself back on the ground as he watched the other Namir approach. He guessed they might of spotted the tree also and he didn't want to get in the way.

Naomi paused for a moment when the object moved.
'Oh...' she thought. 'It's another namir...' she sighed in relief as she continued her walk.
When she got close enough to see him clearly, she smiled, as hard as it was with rain crashing down on her, and began to speak.
"Hello, sir." She wondered why he was just sitting there. Shouldn't he be finding shelter like she was?
"I was looking for some shelter, and I noticed you sitting here..." she trailed off at the end, she wasn't sure what else she wanted to say..

Kiyoshi's head hung low as he stared at the green female from under his hood. He gave a small whimper as he sank his head loer in a submissive state.
"Um, ye, yes. I'm just...sitting here," Kiyoshi whispered softly. It would be sort of a miracle to hear him through the hard rain.
"There," Kiyoshi pointed to the hollowed out tree. "You can...use it if you want..."

Noami stared at him, waiting for an answer, wondering if perhaps he hadn't heard her. But then she saw him point and she looked over to see what it could be that he was pointing at. It was a hollowed out log, and it did look somewhat useful. She wondered why he wasn't using it. There had to be a reason he was just sitting in the rain.
'Perhaps he...likes the rain. Yeah, I know a lot of namrah like storms like this...' she thought to herself. But as she looked at him a little longer, she noticed that he didn't look happy at all. She wondered if he was hurt. Her overly caring personality came out at once as she thought of that possibility. She leaned down closer to him now.
"Are you ok, Sir? Is something wrong?" She hoped he didn't find her rude by her questions, but she really was worried.

Staring as his paws Kiyoshi didn't notice Noami had leaned in closer. When he looking up he took a sharp inhale from fear of how close they now were. He quickly jumped up and took a few steps back from the female never breaking eye contact with her.
"I..I'm fine. There's nothing wrong..."

Naomi hadn't been expecting to startle him, so when he jumped up, Naomi jumped as well. She looked at him with a surprised expression. He didn't seem to be hurt. But he didn't seem to want to talk to her much either. He probably wasn't happy about her coming over and bothering him.
"I...I'm sorry. I shouldn't have bothered you. Please forgive me." She hung her head and turned to leave, heading for the hollowed out tree he had pointed out to her.

Kiyoshi watched as the female started to leave. He felt ashamed at his actions and for driving another Namir away from him. He wanted company. He wanted friends, but he was just to jumpy and shy to ever make any.
"You..you didn't do anything wrong. So, ...please don't feel bad. It's just how I am. I'm sorry.."

Naomi's ears flicked back and she turned her head to hear his small voice. She stopped and looked at him for a moment before taking a step back toward him.
"You mean...you're not upset with me...for bothering you?" It then occurred to her that he could just be painfully shy. She did know what that was like, she used to be shy, but her love for others couldn't keep her away for long. She had learned to get over her shyness.

Shaking his head, Kyioshi looked away from her. He was afraid to make eye contact with her.
"No. No I'm not. You didn't exacty bother me. I have no reasons to be mad. I..I shouldn't be keeping you in the rain like this. You can..go to the tree if you want to.."

Naomi smiled and walked back over to sit down beside him.
"It's ok...actually, I'm just tired of being by myself. You wouldn't mind if I just stayed here would you? And besides, it looks like this might be letting up soon..." She looked up at the sky, squinting as rain poured on her face. But it wasn't as hard as before, and not as fast.

Kiyoshi tried to look up at the sky from under his hood while still trying to keep his head down. No suprise it did not work out well. Sighing, he just looked up to see that the female was telling the truth. He pushed his sliver hair out of his eyes and he looked back down at the ground and shook his head.
"I don't mind. You can stay if you want to. I won't force you to leave or anything...Are you on your own, if you don't mind me asking?...You don't have to answer...you just..seem like someone who wouldn't be alone.."

Naomi watched him pull his hair out of his eyes only to look back down at the ground.
"Thanks. And, I don't mind you asking. I'm alone...I don't have any family or anything..." she sighed and then went on, "it's not....so bad..." she lied.
"Would you mind terribly if I asked you the same question?" She smiled at him, knowing it probably wouldn't do her any good, since he was looking at the ground anyway, but it was just a habit. She then blinked her eyes a few times and then widened them as she gasped, "Oh! I'm so sorry! I should introduce myself first! My name is Naomi."

Kiyoshi turned to look over at Naomi.
"It's nice to meet you. My name is Kiyoshi." Kiyo sighed as he thought about the question. "I'm alone cause I am almost always alone. My shyness just..gets in the way. I don't have any friends, though I have a few aquantances. My family, I spend a lot of time with my dad and my younger brother, but I'm not all that close to them..."
