Yaoi-Con 2008

Yaoi-Con 2008 is an 18+ convention that will take place at the Marriott San Mateo-San Francisco Airport hotel in the South San Francisco Bay area the weekend of September 26-28, 2008.

This year's guest of honor will be the lovely Yamato Nase, the first word on manga about talking penises! rofl But really folks, she's awesome.

Along with convention standards like an awesome dealer's room and fan market, a game room, a reading library and industry and fan run panels, there are lots of Yaoi Exclusives to look forward to! There's Bishounen Bingo, the Bishounen Spanking Inferno (aka the Raffle), and one of the highlights of the convention, the Bishounen Auction.

This Convention is THE con for Yaoi Fans everywhere! Be there or be square!

I'll be planning a few meet-ups for the weekend. If you're going to attend, let me know!

I would love to go but I don't turn eighteen until March! Plus I'm broke and I have no way of getting to Cali *lives in Texas*. Maybe I can go in two years... hopefully.

I'll be going, in a group of five (Our way of making it cheap to go).

I believe, if nothing changes, I'll be cosplaying as Soubi Cosplaying as Roy Mustang and my friend will being cosplaying Ritsuka Cosplaying as Edward.

Last year she couldn't go because she wasn't old enough... I didn't have my Ritsuka - Made me sad.

no joke I live in fl too and there SHOULD be a yaoi-con in FL since I'm old enough to go to one but lack money to fly to California. same situation as you and anticipating having enough cash to go to a yaoi-con in the future
