What's the main difference between these cards besides their power and their abilities?
i think that wizards got the idea for the lieges from Tolsimir

Yeah, they probably did rip off the lieges idea from Tolsimir. A bunch of the cycles were probably from older sets too. The Cairn lands come to mind.

The leige is easier and faster to get out. But I do think that Wizards got the leige idea from this guy.
