Bloodbath 3

Chen vs Dramon
PostPosted: Wed Jul 16, 2008 11:37 am

One round down. A second one to go.

User Image

The Asian stood on one side with his ebony baton in his right hand wiggling for action, only about one foot in size for the moment. The front of his blue Chinese shirt was cut and bloody from the last bout, spikes have torn through it. Down the left side of his face, a scar. The wound was sealing itself naturally up with blood clotting, but it could easily be re opened with the right attack. Even now, both his torso cuts and face cut throbbed with silent pain, but he could take it, as he has taken many injuries before through hard mental endurance.

Right foot forward, left foot the rear, right side facing forward, right arm bent and left hand over the right bicep in a starting stance, he was ready to fight.

Dramon entered in a little sore and tense but not really in bad shape. He didn't really work up too much of a sweat with Gamma surprisingly and had a fairly easy walk into round 2.

Looking across the stage, he saw his opponent...a modern kung-fu flick reject. One eye raised he clinched his gloves and began pounding his fist into his opposite open hand. The gloves were pretty thick so you knew they weren't normal and the dull gray metal on the backs of the glove weren't there just for show.

Jeans, sneaks and no shirt. This was how Dramon was preparing to fight.

Another opponent who preferred customized gloves as their weapons. Much like his last opponent, it could be Dramon's advantage or his downfold. The moments of this fight would tell that. By swinging his right arm down, the extension of his baton moves out, increasing its size to 2' 3". But if Dramon focused more on the length of the weapon than on Chen charging in, he would be slowly surprised that Chen was closing the distance rapidly. No use in stalling any longer.

Weapon shaking in front of him as he runs at Dramon, right side dominating in facing, he plans to slow down at three feet.

Dramon would watch his opponent while in his guard, he was watching the opponents feet and has soon as the showed signs of slowing down, Dramon would charge in. Head tucked in behind a cross block, Dramon's shoulders and back were hunched so that if Chen lashed out high, he was protected.

Dram's goal was to catch his opponent as he was slowing to a stop and force his way into his opponents guard. Shouldn't be hard considering it was only 3 to 4 feet to cover.

Once in... a right jab to a left straight would begin this match.

Chen's toes were ready to match Dramon's movements, moving to the right in a quick shift in movement as he moves to keep a fair distance. Dramon's guard was high, having Chen strike for a much lower target, the baton striking at the left thigh as he moves toward Dramon's left side. Because of the evasion and counter combination, Dramon's right jab would likely just hit air as Chen would already be out of the way. The weapon came in a lashing motion, giving an aching beat at Dramon's leg, should it hit. And Chen wouldn't settle for just one attack, either. He would have the weapon perform one more successive strike at Dramon's thigh before he would take a pause, his right side and feet spaced making him look in a sort of semi-fencer stance. The speed of the weapon's strike came from the looseness of the wrist, giving the attack a blurry motion when swung. A three foot distance was kept constant, well out of punching range.

The wasn't about to play cops and robbers, ******** it all if Dramon was gonna chase this silly b*****d around the ring.

So When Chen moved, Dramon moved.

Like was said before Dramon was watching the man's feet and moving according to that. Chen strafed right, Dramon strafed left but at an angle to ever be closing in. 3ft was not hard to cover for a 6ft man, it was the length of his normal stride walking.

Chen lashed at Dramon's thigh's but meanwhile Dram hooked Chen's body. A nice big target that was hard to move nimbly and to make matters worse Dram was hooking like a street rat. This meant the hook would come in from behind the and snap in at the end, kinda like you pushing your opponent closer in or saying "C'mere *****..."

Dramon's lunge forward just moments ago would be that which caused Chen to move to the side and attack. If Dramon was following with facing, then he would be able to right after he performs his right jab, since Chen's reaction prioritized in position and timing. At least one lash from the baton would be able to come in before Dramon hooks forward.

And when he does, Chen goes in a rightstrafe again, striking at the same place since Dramon showed no effort in protecting the area. Though he could close the distance rather quickly, as long as Chen kept moving sideways and creating a circular motion around Dramon, Dramon would find that it was a lot harder to close the distance with the Asian so bouncy in his movements. It was going to be tougher than that to catch him.

To visualize it, Dramon lunges forward at Chen. All Chen has to do is duck and weave out of the way to the side at the right moment, and he could continue to evade and attack with his weapon. Because it was at a good length, he didn't have to be too close of proximity to send an attack, while keeping just enough distance to give him time to react to Dramon's movements. It was tricky business, to say the least.

Lunge...what lunge? Dram was stepping within his stride so, when the silly b*****d strafed right a left hook was waiting...waiting to say "HI! HELLO! oh oh oh and ******** YOU!"

Cause see Dram continually stepped in when he side stepped with Chen.

Always keeping the guy just in reach of a serious pounding.

Stepping in also served a second purpose, it lessen the blow. Batons when flicked are most effective at the tip and with Chen running around and tiring himself out versus Dramon who was still pretty fresh. It was kinda obvious who was gonna lose this game of cat and mouse.

"Betta change s**t up...you becoming a punching bag homie"

The left hook hits into the guard of the left hand that Chen had in waiting, moving the hook off with a circular motion with the guarding hand towards Dramon's right, well out of the way. And as he kept moving in the right strafe, he sends yet another strike at Dramon's left thigh, a third one and counting. He was wrong in assuming that the tip of his baton was considered the most effective. No matter if he was getting struck by the tip or whacked by the broad side of it, they both would hurt just as much. The weight of the weapon would cause even more pain to Dramon's leg as he seemed to soak it up as if it was nothing. The more he talked, the less he lost his concentration to the fight at hand. Cockiness could cost him.

In the matters of Chen tiring himself out, they will just have to wait and see. Chen wasn't a man who was out of shape, and could keep up the dancing game for a good while, as long as it meant tenderizing his opponent's loins. To the Asian, there was nothing important at the moment than making his enemy hurt.

Dram wasn't feeling it...

and Chen was backing himself into a corner...

and the more the strafed left or right, the easier it was Dramon to read Chen's moves.

Well s**t if all the guy was doing was stepping while Dram was coming in at angle, they probably be chest to chest by now and with Dram's hook actually hooking...well then Dram would hook Chen left guard and keep him close.

Uppercut to the stomach while Chen's free went for that 'flick' once more and should that free arm come around trying to be a hero...

well Dram had something in store for that.

They wouldn't be chest to chest, but they would be close enough to be considered toe to toe, in respect to Chen keeping himself reasonably on his knees. When the left hook comes around, a smack strikes into the side of it, sending that hand to Dramon's left, the guarding hand kept in an open palm. And with the movement, Chen strikes yet again at the left thigh of Dramon. Fourth hit in a row. If he wasn't feeling it, it was likely because his nerves were starting to numb, and when they start to numb, the leg starts to lose feeling.

A human being was protected by mounds of muscle, skin protection meant to keep them from taking any severe damage. This was considered a human's exoskeleton, which many athletes prided themselves on. However, no matter how buff a person makes themselves, their big muscles were still flesh, skin, blood, and water. When a blunt heavy weapon strikes into one of these muscles, for example, a bat, the force is transferred through the tough membranes and rattles their bones. For those men who have trained themselves in conditioning and deadening their nerves through constant exercise of getting themselves hit, be it intentional or unintentional, they were better against these types of attacks. For Dramon, if this was true for him, then it was understandable how he held fortitude in taking strikes to the thigh and still being able to move.

However....force was still force. Chen was striking at the left thigh for a reason, specifically at the side, the length of it passing by it and against the back just at a tangent angle. The muscles he were striking at were being bruised and losing touch with the nerves that allowed Dramon to stand and walk. Because he didn't "feel" it, this would further surprise the man when he suddenly finds himself having a hard time moving that left leg. One step, and he could easily stumble himself, finding that the strikes to his left leg were actually of a threat.

But, if Dramon would continue to assault him with no care for this manner, then he could continue with his tactics of getting Chen just where he wanted. Until then, Chen executes the fourth strike at Dramon's thigh. This time, he stuck where he was, directly in front of Dramon. Still on his toes, but the chasing game was over. If he wanted close combat, the Asian was ready for it.

Man was this guy falling for it...

What happens when you intend to hit a guy at an intended range and he steps in? He nullifies the attack kids.

So Dram continually stepping in, taking the baton to the leg closer to the grip then at the tip was taking the bite out of the thing. So yeah the strikes still had power behind them but now it would take more strikes for Chen to get his desired affect.

...and sure Chen could play patty cake with Dram, but nonetheless the intent was to hook the man's arm which would happen open contact and now 'roped in'. Chen wasn't going anywhere...

"Got yo b***h a**..."

step 2

Chen had gone for his fourth strike...just as expected, beautiful. The uppercut was short and sweet with Dram "powering through" Chen with it to really give the Asian some serious bubble guts.

Whether the baton strike hit again or not, the uppercut would either interrupt Chen completely or take all the muscle out his strike and possibly make him s**t himself or throw up if he had a heavy lunch or even a light one.

moving on into step 3...
PostPosted: Fri Jul 18, 2008 10:38 am

The revolving motion of Chen's guarding left arm was now going to come into play. Going in one more revolution counter clockwise, he would bring his arm to the outside of Dramon's left arm, then bring it up and down to where the left hand will grasp onto Dramon's muscled left shoulder, left arm nearly extended, but kept some bend in the elbow. Now his arm was vulnerable to getting hooked, if Dramon wished to do so. Chen was ready to get up close either way. Because of the way that Dramon will hook his arm, his hand and forearm would probably be on the inside of Chen's left bicep, hooking it nicely. Thing was, Chen had him in a hook, too, left side facing toward Dramon. His left foot would be positioned to the outside of Dramon's left foot, still in front though, with the right foot set in the same spread stance, keeping him well balanced so far, but the front of his facing out of direct harm's way of a punch.

But even with Dramon still up close, Chen sends a fifth strike at the left thigh. Because of the space between the right arm and the path it has to travel to strike at Dramon's leg in his side stance, he still had enough distance to still hit Dramon with the "sweet" spot of his weapon. The uppercut strike only would hit into his left facing abdomen. Not to say it was a fun experience, the painful scars on his torso shivering in nerve reactions of pain when he does. But, you couldn't cause some damage without taking any, it seemed, taking the hit and still pushing through with his attacks.

They were now hooked and Dram had gotten the uppercut off... good.

As for the fifth strike, well it never came cause as stated before...

...meaning where ever it hit Dram was striking fast and stepping into it and with Chen positioning being that he was mostly giving Dram is left while Dram was mostly squared of... well Dram's attack had a shorter distance to travel.

The fist of Dram's right upper would unravel and grab Chen's article of clothing, Dram's left making sure Chen stayed within range for the grab. With both hands now on Chen, Dram pulled him in forcefully for a headbutt to the bridge of Chen's nose.
