Raising clenched fists into the air, he jumped in a quick circle around, before looking over to the camera with a casual shrug and a smirk. It was never easy being Rob Van Dam .. but he enjoyed every moment of it. He was good in the ring, and had a huge following to solidify his status. Now, it was a matter of awaiting his opponent. Karitos looks at the ring announcer and with a simple flick of his wrist, the announcer is back at ring side. The crowd was amazed by the spectaculars that the Wizard shows, but they are still firmly supporting RVD.
The Wizard refuses to take off his robes. Now lets see what this old timer got.

( rVd ) Van Dam just sorta stood back and watched this guy's entrance. Was he for real? Either way, RVD just sorta looked at him in amazement. ( rVd )

The Wizard looks at Dam. Obviously, the Wizard has no visible advantage against RVD, but he does have other...advantages. The bell rings as the Wizard circles around Dam, trying to get a lock up.

(rVd) RVD proved his point with a smirk, and the bell rang, leading to both men circling up just a bit. Halting in his steps, RVD lowered his center of gravity, before snapping into the lock-up with The Wiz. RVD's first move was to try and slip around behind the man with a waistlock attempt .. and if successful, he would try and lift the lightweight up into the air before driving him down on his front with a simple takedown. The old man isn't going to let the woopersnapper gets his way. To make his case, when RVD manages to get the waist lock, Karitos tries to land an elbow on the High Flyer's head.

(rVd) The elbow would connect with the side of the head, and Van Dam would fumble back a step, holding the side of his head! In retaliation, though, RVD's left leg would shoot up, aiming for the temple of the old man! (rVd)

The Wizard fell victim to the assault. He may have the magic touch, but he doesn't have eyes behind his head, yet. His body landed on the mat.

(rVd) With Wizard hitting the canvas, Van Dam lowered to try and pull the opponent back to a stand. Grabbing onto his wrist, he now attempted to irish whip the opponent off into the ropes ahead! (rVd)

Being so light, Karitos was easily thrown towards the turnbuckle where he takes a firm grip on the ropes to ease some of the impact.
