IC Setup:

In order to keep Dusty busy during the summer months, Arrien has been continuing his homeschooling. However, there're obvious troubles with keeping his attention during the summer months, when there's so much for a young deerkitten to be doing! So, in order to further his education as well as let him get some exercise, Dusty's Guardian has assigned him a special week-long assignment- catch and identify as many bugs in the Barton area as possible. And just to sweeten the pot, she's also offered to pay him for every different bug he catches, with bonuses for rarer bugs.

Dusty was obviously excited about this business venture, but after running around like a buffoon with a bug net for a while, he's come to realize that he isn't going to be making a whole lot of progress going about the way he was. So, he's stopping by Fa'e HQ in order to get help from his fellow loving, caring, naive Fa'e with his homework (naturally, not mentioning that there's any sort of dollar sign attached to it).


OOC Explanation:

Mostly, I'm bored running around Towns on my own. XD I mentioned that I was thinking of doing a bug-hunting RP to Saede, playing with the idea of just doing it as a written RP, but she instantly figured that it'd be more fun to run the RP on Towns itself. So, probably on Friday or Saturday, I'm going to go ahead and RP this out with anyone who feels like dorking around Towns with me. It'll probably be Dusty and Skule at a minimum, but whoever else has Fa'e that want to be conned helpful citizens should feel free to join.

Any bugs you catch, boxes you find, trash, etc. are yours to keep, obviously; ICly, it's assumed that any caught bugs are either gonna be passed over to Dusty or released, but that doesn't mean I'm wanting to gank your stuff OOCly.

I'm not expecting or trying to get a huge crowd on this, since there's only so much I can manage to juggle anyway. This is really just a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants sort of RP, nothing epic; just gonna a light, silly RP, unless someone decides to pick a fight or something. xD If you want to show up, make sure your avatar is dressed as closely to your character as you can, since we're gonna be screenshotting and assembling either a comic or animation for the RP. Anyone who participates is encouraged to SS dialogue and the like so that we don't miss things.

If you're planning to join in, lemme know just so I can get an idea of how many people are going to show. Based on demand is probably how I'll set the time/date for the RP. I'm gonna be busy this week (midterms on Thurs, woo~), but we'll work things out and have fun. ^o^ Thanks, all!
