Set was gone, he had gone back to Sekhmets, it felt as if there parents were split up. He wished that they'd get back together, he knew they cared for them but love was the last thing the pair needed. Both were demons trapped within angelic bodies. Erebus cold hearted and not wanting to be around others and Set chaos to no end.
The foal wandered off alone in the night, it wasn't the first and it wouldn't be the last he was not scared of what lurked in the shadows. He should be, but he wasn't and he wasn't afraid of death. His electric blue eyes glowed in the dark as he walked his way, and minded to himself.

Delicate azure wings fluttered noiselessly against the wind as the young filly meandered aimlessly through the thick foliage of the dark forest, cerulean hues unfocused as they stared into the dark shadows before her small form. She had not been separated from her mother, sister, or father until now, but found herself itching to find a new sky-watching hideaway, where she could simply lose herself in her thoughts.
Letting an absent smile adorn her grey and black features, Avalee broke into a prancing trot, lifting her head enough to feel the gentle breeze comb through her short ivory mane. The dark of night was still fairly new to her, but she found she liked the quiet, the solace... it was a new experience, and he found that she would probably sneak out for many more nights like this in the future, if it was always this nice.
Another dark form lurking in the shadows drew her attention, and she skidded to an abrupt halt in the soft dirt, eyeing the movement curiously. It seemed like... another foal? The sweet smile that had previously graced her feminine features returned with the realization that yes, it was indeed another foal, and she apparently had company in the small clearing that she had wandered into.
Craning her neck so her nose pointed upward, she nickered a soft greeting to the unfamiliar colt.

Erebus' eyes narrowed, something was tainting his air. His night air when he roamed alone for that mere reason. He turned to see whom it was and of all living creatures it had to be a damned filly. He hissed under his breath. He didn't have sisters for a reason, Isis was alreay on his bad side for trying to kill him as a basket...even if it was accidental. She was far from being the sharpest knife in the box. But a filly? Seriously, they all wanted to chase butterflies and romp around. Some colts did that and that simply embarrased him. He sighed softly as she whickered to him but he ignored her.
He tucked his wings to his sides and continued on his way. Was that really all this night could offer?

Steel blue eyes blinked curiously as the dark colt pointedly ignored her and continued on his way, tilting her head to one side with a slow blink and simply observing for a moment. The way he had scowled when he noticed her made her wonder... did he hate all soquili? Or maybe it was just females? Judging from the way he had looked at her a moment ago, it was probably just fillies... but why?
Avalee wasn't normally one to pursue something that didn't benefit her in some way, but something about this colt made her unusually curious. Her brother was rather touchy sometimes, but he didn't usually outright ignore her. Her father spoiled her to no end, so it couldn't be a male thing... unless it was just colts.
That made a bit more sense. Perhaps he was avoiding her simply because he thought she was 'icky'? Whatever the reason, he had piqued her interest, and she took a step forward to follow his own hoofprints.
"Excuse me," she began softly, azure eyes wide in silent entreaty as she attempted to meet his gaze. "Do you know this area well? I was looking for a good place to watch the stars... maybe you'd like to join me?"

He stopped suddenly to only glare at her, his body seemed solid like granite rock. He stood there as a statue just watching her, he watched her for a moment, her wings intrigued him but not enough to be nice. He was rarely nice, maybe on an eclipse. His eyes narrowed, "Of course I know the area," he replied in a harsh tone as he watched her. She shouldn't be out here, she could get very hurt.
He snorted and smirked darkly, "Watch the stars? Please, anyone who does that out here is indeed an imbecile. Lucky to see one star before a skinwalker got to you." he replied with the same dark tone. His eyes kept on her as he started walking on, she shouldn't be with him...especially if something tripped his trigger. He had already lashed out on his siblings. He sighed at the thought.

She took no offense to the blatant insult, as her mother or brother undoubtedly would have... only growing more confused at his behavior. "Well, if you're so concerned about skinwalkers in the area, why are you out here?" the question was laced only with innocent curiosity, icy blue hues blinking as she tilted her head to one side in inquisitive befuddlement.
"I like watching the stars... besides, I have the same chance of getting attacked out here as I would anywhere else," she countered with an indifferent shrug, fluttering her wings with a small smile. She took a step to follow after him, glancing down at the dirt path before trotting to catch up. "And if you get attacked? I would think there would be safety in numbers, at the very least."

Erebus looked at her and his eyes narrowed, "You obviously don't know the area." he snorted. She was aggrivating him already. She didn't know what he was capable of. Not many did, He was always lurking in the shadows if he was caught with her she would have no mercy and he was sure to be getting punished as well. He would be able to at least breathe. She'd be dead.
"I won't get attacked." he replied nonchantly and he couldn't help but laugh at her when she talked about saftey in numbers. "Are you for serious, what kind of stories do those parents of yours plant in your little head." he smirked. He wondered if that was enough to make her give up yet, she seemed like the weak hearted.

"Maybe I don't, but I never will if I don't explore it, right?" she shrugged indifferently, falling in step behind him with practiced ease. For as much as he seemed to want to drive her off, it seemed that his primary concern was her safety... or maybe she was just reading him wrong. Whatever the case, it didn't seem all that impossible of a prospect to simply enjoy the company of another, especially with the added bonus of being near someone who knew the area well.
"My parents don't really tell me stories," she answered absently, pausing in curiosity at the thought, but dismissed it with a shake of her head. Mother wasn't really the type for stories... and Daddy usually just smiled and played with her, or watched the skies with her, instead of engaging her in conversation. "How are you so sure you won't be attacked?"
It was strange how confident and dismissive he seemed- it reminded her a bit of her older brother. Was he like this when he was young? Probably not... Kureno was not arrogant, simply quiet and distant. Still, it was interesting to see the differences in behavior. "What's your name?"

"Well they should've told you, perhaps it would've detered you from roaming these parts." he looked at her square in the eye. He was not liking her enclosing his space and he thought about rocking her a good one. But he still didn't have that part of him ripped away from him. The angeni had beaten him, but he hadn't won.
"I'm not afraid of death." he replied as he kept moving on. He could hear the rippling of a howl in the distance. He still had the evil scent on him form the angeni. That seemed to make the predator's stray. It made him acknowledge what he was capable of. It would've frightened him if he were somebody else but it hadn't.
"Why do you want to know, ms. personal." he flicked his tail. "I don't even know you." he looked back to her. This wasn't turning out good, he wasn't supposed to be personal with anybody, but one little name couldn't hurt..."Erebus Ammit." he replied with ease as he kept walking.
