. razz lot:. For hundreds, nay, thousands of years, supernatural beings have walked the earth, keeping their existence secret from human kind. Of course, nothing could go completely unnoticed for long. Legends were passed on through the generations, facts were confused with fiction, and eventually no one believed the stories. Only a few select families over the world still believed. These families call themselves Hunters, and it is their self-proclaimed duty to destroy the subjects of these so-called legends. They are trained to fight these creatures that are much stronger and faster than they are, and they take advantage of every weakness they can.
Right now, conditions are perfect for an attack.
Vampires and Werewolves have inhabited Denver, Colorado for years, unnoticed by the human residents of the city. For years, they have been battling over territory, and have actually split the town into two literal halves; the north and the south. The citizens of Denver have no idea that they have lived their lives on such a fierce battleground, and these creatures intend to keep it that way.
But not everyone feels the same way as the leaders - the Alphas and the Masters - do. Wolves and Vampires lower in rank are becoming tired of the fighting, hardly able to remember the reason for it in the first place. They are crossing lines, forming alliances, and plotting to end it once and for all. Some may even form alliances with Hunters that specialize in whatever they are not, but for entirely different reasons. Having a common enemy can be a helpful thing in a time of war.
In addition to these three groups, there are also people in Denver that call themselves Wizards. It is their job to stop the increasingly violent thee-sided war before it escalates into something that will threaten the very existence of the humans that live there. But Wizards are, essentially, human beings as well, and they have their limits. Unless they work together, the city of Denver may be lost forever.
How long can the citizens of this city remain unaware of the happenings around them, with all of the turmoil that is brewing just beneath the surface?

.:Rules:. 1.) Follow all of the guild rules and Gaian rules, but that goes without saying. 2.) No killing other characters without first obtaining the permission of the person whose character you want to kill and from me. I have no problem with fighting. Actually, I encourage it, but only to an extent. Killing random humans is fine (this is a war, after all.) but please don't go on a killing spree. 3.) Be literate. I know we all make mistakes, but please. For everyone's sanity, post no less than two good paragraphs (at least five sentences each) per post and at least try to spell correctly. 4.) PM me your profile with the title "Rivalry." Also, please pay attention to rule number 19. People tend to ignore it. 5.) Try to keep OOC posts to a minimum. We will have a OOC thread, so just post there if you need to. Also, if you just want to chat with other members of the roleplay, then that's fine, too. 6.) If you have to use quotes, then fine, but please don't put any more than three in any given post. 7.) Romance is greatly encouraged, of course. But nothing beyond PG-13 is allowed. If I catch you disobeying this rule, then you get one warning before I kick you out of this roleplay. 8.) This is a long term roleplay, so no ditching. Pretty please? I might just have to gently remove your eyeballs from your skull with a rusty spoon if you leave without telling me. 9.) You can have 4 characters in all, and now you can have two of the same kind, but no more than that. 10.) I am lord and ruler in this role play. What I say goes. I can change rules if I want, I can ban people if I want. Both from the role play and from the guild, if you're bad enough. I hate banning people, though, so please behave. 11.) Anyone can fall in love with anyone. No discrimination is allowed. It's very rude. However! Keep in mind that there is a blood fued going on here. For example, it's extremely unlikely that a Vampire and a Werewolf will have a 'love at first sight' kind of moment. So don't do it. If they end up loving each other, sure, but let there be an actual reason for it. 12.) Just because there are is a fixed number of acceptable characters doesn't mean that I expect this role play to be huge. I just want to keep things relatively balanced. 13.) Unless specifically stated in someone's profile that they have never Turned or Changed someone, then a person is allowed to say that another character is responsible for their becoming a Vampire or Werewolf. I will ask the attacker in question if it is alright to allow this while the victim's profile is still under consideration. Any complaints will be brought up with me first, and then with attacker. Keep in mind that characters like the Masters and the Alphas have probably been responsible for Turning or Changing someone. But if everyone starts saying that they were changed by the leaders, then I'm going to start denying people until they have a better reason. 14.) If Wizard powers are abused, then you get one warning before you lose your character. 15.) There will be no powers other than what I list! I will be open to suggestions, but I need this rule to keep the whole 'god' complex thing in check. 16.) Magic is kind of vague, so if you have one that you'd like to use with your character, suggest it and we'll see. I may or may not allow it. Just try not to do anything too powerful or destructive. It may sound weird in the context, but please be realistic. 17.) There will be no strictly normal characters in this roleplay, so I give everyone permission to control NPCs (innocent humans) to an extent. If you start killing them off, or if you are irresponsible in some way, then you lose the right until I decide otherwise. The PG-13 rule applies to violence, too. 18.) I know that I based stuff off of some books I read, but this story has nothing to do with any of them. All you need to know is found right on this page. You don't need to have read the books to keep up with this roleplay. 19.) Please put your profile in color that you will roleplay as, and do not take a color that someone else is already using. If you need more ideas, look on this page for a list of colors you can use. You may have to scroll down a ways. (Sledge has claimed black as his color, so do not try to take it.) 20.) Alright, I know that something like this can either go crazy or die from lack of preparation, but I have ideas which I will share with the leaders of the groups. But if the Vampires are to launch a secret attack against the Werewolves, for example, then I probably won't PM the wolves. Element of surprise and all that. Even if I do have these ideas, it isn't set in stone that they will happen, and if the leaders have ideas for plot twists, then please feel free to run it by me and we'll see. 21.) Because there are 40 spots open, this thread will probably always be open to new characters. I doubt that all 40 spots will always be filled at all times. There are people coming and going all the time within all the ranks, so there will always be a way to explain a sudden appearance or disappearance. As such, if your character is a high rank, and you wish to leave, please tell me before hand so we can roleplay out the new pecking order. Otherwise, things will get complicated. 22.) I have the right to add more rules as I deem necessary.

.:Setting:. Denver, Colorado
June 29, 2008 Thursday 11:00 PM
Full Moon: 18th of July New Moon: 3rd of July
There is plenty of room for the wolves to run in the city of Colorado. Forests and mountains are just a short distance away. The Werewolves live on the outskirts of town, where they share one large house. The house has plenty of bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large kitchen and living area, two floors, a basement, and a back porch that looks out to the forests and mountains. The decorations of the house are virtually non-existent. The furniture is second hand and there is no paint or wallpaper. The walls are white and the floor is made of wood or tile. Blood is rather hard to clean out of carpet. They can be found at random places on their own side of town, being less predictable than the Vampires. They do tend to frequent restaurants that serve red meat, but they'll usually go in large groups.
There are many fine places of culture for the Vampires to spend their nights, but during the day they hide out in the basement of their mansion, which is located on the opposite side of town as the home of the Werewolves. Their mansion is three stories tall, four times as wide, and beautifully furnished, all with a style that dates centuries back. At night, they will usually be seen at museums and art galleries, but some of the younger Vampires tend to frequent more upbeat places, such as clubs, instead. Unless they are hunting for a meal, that is. Tourists are often in Denver, if only to rest on their journey to another mountain city, and these are easy prey for any Vampire.
For the Hunters, Denver is full of places to stay, from hotels to apartments, and they are on either side of the city. Where they live depends on what they prefer to Hunt and on how long they have been Hunters. The more experience they have, the more they can afford, and the better of a place they can stay in. However, some choose to stay in run-down places so they will draw less attention to themselves.
There is a Wizard meeting place that is about a ten minute drive past the outskirts of Denver, near the base of the mountains. The city's wizarding community congregates here to discuss important matters. No Vampires, Werewolves, or ordinary humans may ever be allowed inside. There are also other places where Wizards may meet, which are generally their homes. Their houses are scattered about the city so as to bring less attention to themselves.

.:Vampires:. .:5 openings:. (( 2 Females ; 3 Males )).:The Master:.Played By: Lady Capri Name: Rourke Age: 900 Age You Appear: 27 Gender: Male Height: 6’3” Weight: 105lbs Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Short dark hair brushes his shoulders with long bangs parted to reveal a dark brown, almost red eye under a strong brow. More often than not, Rourke’s hair is in constant disarray from his habit of running his long fingers through it. The strong lines and sharp angles of his face, always clean-shaven, are usually decorated with expressions of deep concentration, concern or being lost in thought. It is rare for him to smile but he is capable of it. At six foot three inches, Rourke and his brother are tall men, their height alone can be intimidating and he carries himself with an air of regality. He prefers to encase his one hundred and five pounds in suits and the shoes that compliment them, his jeans are pressed and worn with dress shirts and his sneakers are kept clean and replaced often. Not a man to wear much jewelry, he carries only two medallions on chains around his neck. Rourke/Alastar Personality: Rourke is the other side of the coin that is his brother, Alastar, and himself. Entrusted with protecting his vampire family, his more carefree side took the backseat to planning and implementing measures to keep them and their secret safe. Rourke is an avid listener, always encouraging those around him to speak their minds; he believes that a large part or keeping them all safe depends on each individual. He issues orders only once but aims to always be fair and is not as cold as he may come off. Time does take its toll on a person, however, though anything not fitting of a leader is kept buried below a languid veneer. Bio: The twins were born in 1108 as the third and fourth children to Celtic parents on a small farm in Ireland. Rourke considered his upbringing mundane and always dreamed of more than harvesting and tilling the earth. His older sisters married and left home and their parents died when they were sixteen, leaving the brothers to fend for themselves. Life was not hard and necessities never scarce, Rourke continued as he always had, working the land and so forth until the excitement he’d dreamed of became a reality. After turning Rourke took it upon himself to experience life, he took his fair share of women and traveled though never far from his brother, the other half of himself. It wasn’t until years later that they traveled to England and Rourke found Alette from there they began the now large family of vampires. The past is prologue and he left it there, the years are long for their kind and so he ‘lives’ for the present. Rourke has only discussed his past with his mistress. He only lived twenty-seven years as a human and much of what he learned up to that point serves little purpose when protecting his family. He sees no reason in speaking the truth about it and so he does not. For shits and giggles, however, he and his brother never tell the same story of their turning twice. Rourke’s response are often whatever comes to mind first, “I was leaving a brothel late one night and woke in the bushes three days later. I was confused, yes, but thoroughly satisfied.” Character Goal: Keep his brother, mistress and family safe by whatever means, thought peace would be nice too. Weapons: His natural weapons Rank: Master Other: Sharing the same face and body has its pluses which the brothers make use of for entertainment as well as practical purposes. Over the length of their unnaturally long lives, they perfected this skill into an art capable of fooling friend and foe alike. When the time calls for it or out of sheer boredom none is the wiser to whom they speak except the family’s Mistress..:The Mistress:.Played By: Kitty_Katastrophe Name: Alette Rosenfeld Age: 728 years Age You Appear: 25 Gender: Female Height: 5’4” Weight: 72 lbs Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Over time, Alette's waist length hair has faded from it's original shade of brown to one of silver. It is the only sign of her age, but not all Vampire's react this way to being Turned. Her eyes are a dark shade of red, though they were originally green. They lost their pigment, along with her hair, when she was Turned. Her skin is pale, which is common among her kind, as the flesh is all but dead. Alette is slender, and thus is built much smaller than most of the creatures she controls, but has power that belies her small size. She is only five foot four and seventy-two pounds, something that would seem very unhealthy - if not impossible - for a normal person. However, she appears as though she weighs about 120 pounds. Personality: Despite being born into a poor, peasant family, Alette is a very regal and refined person. That sort of behavior comes from spending many years among the elite class. Even then, she never acts like she is spoiled, and for that she thanks her roots. If she had been born into royalty, Alette would be an entirely different person. As for how she deals with the Family, she believes in punishing those who deserve to be punished, but she is also fair. If your offense compromises the Family’s secrecy, then she will make you regret it. If your offense is minor, then she will probably have very little to do with you, but will not be outright rude. If you are friendly and follow rules, then she will get along with you just fine. Alette is fiercely loyal to everyone in the Family, and she is loathe to choose one person over another. Punishing anyone for anything - no matter how big or small the matter is - is torture for her. She would much rather that everyone got along, rather than continuously jockey for a higher rank, and that even includes the Werewolves. Of course, her version of getting along with the wolves involves them leaving Denver and finding another territory altogether. Bio: Alette was born early in the year of 1279, in a small town in England. Her family was poor, and she had several siblings, half of which eventually died of one disease or another. She was sixteen when her parents died, which left her with her older sister and younger brother. These were the only two of her six siblings to survive to the age of fifty, though she never knew what became of them after they married and moved away, to find better living conditions. She did the same, becoming the bride of a man named Edmund at the age of eighteen. She had two children. Her firstborn died at the age of three, but her daughter lived to be fifty-six, an age that was extremely amazing for the day. Again, though, she had no idea what became of her daughter because when she was twenty-five, Alette fell ill. It was getting late in the evening. Her husband had gone to town to look for medicine, and her young daughter was sleeping. Delirious, Alette left their home and stumbled around outside, looking for Edmund. After ten minutes of dazed and fruitless searching, she collapsed on the side of the road. It was too dark for anyone to spot her where she lay motionless. Even Edmund could have walked by without seeing her, and he might have. She had no idea how much time had passed, but it could have been hours. She was barely conscious when a man did come down the road and, seeming entirely unaffected by the lack of light, walked right up to her to kneel beside her limp form. He spoke to her, though she cannot remember a word of what he said. The last thing she does remember of that night are his lips at her throat. Three days later, she woke up in a strange house, confused and disoriented. Panicking, she tried to leave, but the sun burned her, so she stumbled back inside. The man from before introduced himself as Rourke and explained what had happened to her. He told her what she was and that she was no longer ill, and said that she could leave if that was what she wanted. In those days, the stories of Vampires weren't so much of the horror story rubbish that they are in modern day. People knew of the existence of the creatures, and many knew how to at least injure one since many people had crosses in their possession. After finding out that she had become one of the monsters, Alette didn’t want to leave. She couldn’t return to her family, for fear that she would hurt them or that they would hate her. And though it took her several years to come to terms with what she was, she never left Rourke's side. In any case, she felt strangely loyal to this man, so she stayed. And she had little difficulty in becoming fond of Alastar, his brother, once she became accustomed to his antics. She never did see her husband or any of her family again, and though she misses them, Alette has moved on. She knows that she must have a line of descendants somewhere, but has never taken the time to look for them. It's something that she's considered doing once the war dies down, if that's even possible. When people began to travel over to the New World, she followed him and his brother there without hesitation. Alette has lived in the general area of Denver for the past three hundred years, perfectly content to help run matters of the city. Character Goal: “Driving the Werewolves out of Denver is our priority, of course. We were here first. They invaded our territory, therefore they must be… disposed of.” Weapons: None, but she does choose to wear silver jewelry, much like some werewolves will wear crosses. It staves them off, or at least slows their attack down. Rank: Mistress Other: It was Rourke that Turned her..:The General:.Played By: Syrenrei Name: Alastar Age: 900 Age You Appear: 27 Gender: Male Height: 6'3" Weight: 105lbs. Sexuality: Bisexual Appearance: Alastar is Rourke, the master's, identical twin brother and there are few physical traits that distinguish one from the other. Well-conditioned and cared for dark locks barely reach his shoulders. Eyes that dance between a deep crimson red and mahogany are accentuated under a well-defined brow and bangs often pushed to the sides of his face. Unlike his brother, though, his expression rarely is solemn and controlled. By all appearances, he wears his heart on his sleeve and his strong features seldom seem as intimidating as on Rourke. A smile is often tugging on the edges of his lips as if he is perpetually finding amusement in the world around him. His clothing encompasses a wide range of garments. While lounging around the house he will usually don casual attire: a nice T-shirt or button-up shirt with fitted jeans or khakis. For nights out on the town (specifically clubbing) his clothing will usually be more outrageous, encompassing everything from chains and leather to clingy pastel muscle shirts. Alastar is also incredibly proud of his costume closet, which is worn on special occasion and contains mimicry of various prince costumes as well as a few superheroes. He also wears two medallions at all times that match Rourke's exactly. Rourke/Alastar Personality: At first blush, Alastar hardly seems like the 'general' type. He is in an almost constant display of high spirits, but that is not to say that he is limited to them: he has also been known to get angry, throw tantrums, and sulk. There is never a doubt as to how he feels, for the moment his happiness wanes his visage reflects it. Generally optimistic and gregarious, it is easier to make friends than enemies with the elder vampire. As a result of this social attitude, one can say that he is never wanting or needing for human companionship. In times of combat or other more situations, a more rarely seen side of Alastar is exposed: poised, stern, serious, and determined. It is during these times that the laughter and his wild antics seem foreign, almost to the point of being a farce. Alastar explains it simply: he is what he needs to be. When he needs to uplift, he uplifts, and when he is needed to command, he commands. There is one notable personality quirk: his abnormal fondness of fairy tales to the point of sometimes dressing like a prince and giving his peers names of various whimsical characters. Bio: Alastar and his twin brother, Rourke, were born to Irish farmers in 1108. His two elder sisters married and moved in with their husbands when he was still young. Death claimed his parents when he was sixteen, leaving the twins orphaned and alone on their land. Knowing nothing else but the profession of their parents, the duo depended on each other and made an honest living for eleven years. To this day, it is unknown how or why the twins were turned. They will, when pushed and prodded, make jokes or unreasonable claims and then refuse to answer with any serious certainty. After their turning, the pair sold their farm and traveled to various countries. Alastar quickly became a student of the arts and took up painting, writing, and acting. Trying to make the best out of his new life, he changed occupations frequently simply to experience each. Over the years Alastar has had a few dozen relationships, although only a handful were long-lasting. He was married twice and one wife he stayed with until she died of old age. The details of said romances are kept private, although he will allude to them from time to time and still celebrates his anniversary to 'Juliet,' the woman who died in his arms brittle and crushed by time. In recent years, Alastar has settled into his life nicely. While the first few decades with Alette by his brother's side were rocky, he seems to have conquered any resentment and jealousy and accepts her as his sister now. Although he has turned many a vampire, not all have survived and even fewer have followed him with any sort of devotion, so the gentleman is happy to live with his brother under his leadership. Character Goal: I will protect my brother and the family we have built until our dying breath. Weapons: A sword fashioned to look like it once belonged to royalty Rank: General Other: Since they were young, Rourke and Alastar have practiced and perfected imitating one another. With accuracy that will trick the most perceptive and long-standing friends, their trickery is not at all unusual. Doubt is often cast on which twin did what and their game seems to have no limits or end, with one exception: Alette is never deceived. Other characters might come across what appears to be two Rourkes, two Alastars, or the pair having simply swapped places and be none the wiser. When questioned, Alastar admits this is done just as much for amusement as practicality: he can assume his brother's identity in times of need and prevent the enemy from slaying their master..:The Followers:.4 OpeningsPlayed By: `Mitsuki Yamada` Name: Kassandra Ebony Rookwood Age: 580 Age You Appear: 23 Gender: Female Height: 5'8 Weight: 85 Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Kassandra is exactly the two words that explain vampires: dangerous and beautiful. Her slightly curly dark brown hair end at the middle of her back and is usually always kept down. Midnight blue are the color of her sometimes serious but usually playful eyes. Kassandra's fair pale skin makes it easy to tell, to those who know of Vampires, that she is one of the undead. Her height reaches a normal five foot seven and her body is slim, having curves in all the right places. Though everything stopped growing, along with muscles, when she was turned there is a slight tone of muscle to be seen. Usually around her neck you'll see a silver star pendant inclosed in an also silver circle. Her clothes range from mostly short skirts, shorts, and tight shirts and pants. It's easy to tell she's not shy about showing off her beauty. Personality: The word that is the complete opposite of Kassandra is shy. After her past you'd expect her to shy off, but no. After being turned she immediately took what she did in her human life and multiplied it. What was it she did in her human life? Partying, that's what she did. Being a Vampire she found it much easier to stay up later and more importantly, snag the men. It was no lie that she was beautiful as a human but as a vampire she was simply, irresistible. Despite the partying and her obsession with men Kassandra is pretty easy to make friends with. Considering how outgoing she is Kas talks with anyone, and even though sometimes her mouth can get her in trouble, it can also help her get new friends. The only time Kassandra is ever really quiet is when she's sad and when the Master is around. Considering her past with him how could she not be quiet around him? Bio: In her human life Kassandra was a total party animal. After parents death at 18 something just clicked inside Kassandra, and she started the partying. Some say she wanted to escape and at first that was true but after the pain of her parents death faded she didn't stop. Really Kas started to party because her parents never let her and she also started to hook up with guys; another thing her parents let her do. Then one night, November 25th to be exact, everything changed. She hooked up with a hot guy like usual, but it wasn't like usual, they went to the back room and everything was great, until he got to rough. Kas told him to stop of course but he kept saying she didn't deserve to live. After a few moments of struggle she was knocked out. After waking up Kas found herself in the back alley of the club, her clothes were gone and she realized that a nice flow of blood was coming from her head. After calling for help a few times she gave up and got ready to die. Death, it seemed, was not her plan though when a man approached her. After what it seemed like examining her the man look seriously at her and asked a simple question, "Do you want to live?" What a silly question, of course she wanted to live, but she couldn't move. The man however didn't seem to care and she suddenly felt cool lips on the skin of her neck, and then what it felt like, teeth, and then, complete and udder pleasure. Then the man parted her own lips and she felt a copper taste on her lips. Immediately frightened Kassandra tried to spit out whatever he put in her mouth but she was forced to swallow and then she saw darkness once more. This was no ordinary darkness though, it was the forever darkness she would meet as a member of the night. Character Goal: "I intend to have fun in this life long party!" Weapons: Her fangs and strength Rank: Follower Other: The man who turned her was none other than the Master. Or was it?Played By: The Spawn Of Cookies Name: Kieran Age: 513 Age You Appear: 23 Gender: Female Height: 5'6" Weight: 103 Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Kieran wears her vibrant red hair shoulder length with bangs that barely reach past her eyebrows. Like her hair, her eyes have also taken on the color of red from when she was changed giving drastic contrast to her milky white skin making it look even paler. She is at around the average height at 5'6" and is slender with a weight of only 103 pounds. As for clothing she has taken on the color of red. For an evening out she will often wear tight fitting gowns with startling bright red color while for a night in the mansion she will either wear short red dresses or a red tight fitting jump suit. Another aspect that all of her clothes have in common is that they are all tight fitting but are either split or stretchy to allow quick movement. The only jewelry she wears is the pure gold cross that hangs around her neck and the silver ruby ring that she wears on her right hand given to her by Kale. Personality: During her time with Kale she had changed from the quiet and aloof person she had been into a very outgoing woman. Now that Kale is gone she seems to have returned to the solitary person and only rarely will she snap out of it. Part of this change is the fact that she's never quite been able to get over his death and because she is afraid that if she is outgoing she will open herself up to being hurt again. As a solitary vampire she is often quiet and prefers to be alone. Occasionally she will seek out company but that mood will not last for very long before she goes off to find some place to be alone. During the time that she is alone she will often read or reflect on her life. Her favorite spot for doing these things is usually on the roof or as high as she can get. When she is near people she will act polite and respectful walking with an air of nobility that slavery never could get rid of from her early years as a noble. Bio: When she was born she had been the daughter of a wealthy nobleman in her time but during a war she and her family were captured and sold into slavery at the age of five. After that she was forced to serve the type of people that she had once been. In the forced slavery she learned how to control her emotions and she also learned how to block off pain. She lived in this life until she was 23 and ran away, traveling through the woods she came across a seemingly abandoned cave in the night. Unknowing of the vampire who inhabited the day by night she fell asleep only to awake when the vampire came back. This vampire went by the name of Kale, or so she learned once she woke up. At first she had been scared of him and what she had become but, once he had explained everything she decided that this was a much better life than the one she had. Another good point was that with her new found strength and speed she would never be recaptured by the noble family she had served. For years after wards Kale spent a lot of time going over the rules with her and teaching her how to go on living and eating undetected by the humans. In this she was very good at and it wasn't long before she was as good as Kale at fighting. Once he had finished training her she had been a vampire for a little over a century and couldn't picture her life without him so when he asked her if she wanted to come with him when he traveled she agreed. Together they traveled but never stayed in one place for long but then when she was around 200 years old they were traveling over the mountains towards Denver. Unknowing of the werewolves who frequented that area they were ambushed by five of them. During the ambush Kale managed to protect Kieran as best he could but died when they were trying to get away. Kieran made it to the city and found the master and mistress. Now she will not leave until all of the werewolves have been killed and only then will she consider Kale to have been avenged. Character Goal: "Those Werewolves are going to die for what they did to Kale. I will make sure of it" Weapons: Small knives that are only for long ranged attacks. She uses her nails, fangs and strength for close up. Rank: Follower.:The Subsidiary:.Open

.:Werewolves:. .:4 openings:. (( 2 Females ; 2 Males )).:The Alpha Male:.Played By: Skunk Blossoms Name: William Black Age: 63 Age You Appear: 31 Gender: Male Height: 6'1" Weight: 184 lb. Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: William is tall and slightly slender for an Alpha Male, but all of his weight comes from purely toned muscle. His strong, lean arms and legs are long and have a layer of coarse, dark brown hair, almost giving his already tanned skin a darker look to it. William's toned chest and stomach sport the same thick hair, only not as abundant as it is on his other limbs. Scars can be seen on practically every inch of his body, the largest ones on his right arm, the side of his stomach, and one across his cheek. His strong jaw bones add to his masculine look, as does the facial hair covering his chin and above his mouth. His face is angular, accentuating his sharp nose and cheek bones. William's eyes are gray, but if one would look closer they would see that around each of his pupils is a golden ring. These wise eyes have been passed from generation to generation in the Black family, and are easily recognizeable to most werewolves. His unruly, shoulder-length hair is the same dark chocolate color as the rest of the hair on his body, and is thick with wavy curls. William's clothes are generally neutral, earthy colors. Normally wearing loose-fitting shirts and a pair of jeans, or a nice pair of drawstring shorts or pants. Sometimes, when at the house or in the woods, he'll even roam around naked, always believing that there was nothing to hide within his close-knit family. Wolf Appearance: Not as large as some in his pack, but larger than most, William's wolven form is a sight to see. His bear-like body is covered with thick, dark brown fur that makes him looks slightly larger than he actually is. His claws and fangs are sharp enough to pierce through the toughest of skin. His bright eyes are the same gray color with the golden rings around his pupils, but they have more of a primal look to them. Personality: Being the Alpha Male, many would think that William would be strict and cold with a god complex, but that is far from the truth. William is a very fatherly, happy man; his years surely roughing his body up, but his personality is still as warm as it was when he was a young pup. All of his love and care goes to his pack, which is the only true thing that really matters to him. He would guard their lives with his own, and is very protective over them. But, even though he is a kind and caring individual, he also has his lessons to teach. He is never afraid to roughen up a pack member when needed, but he likes to avoid it whenever possible. Overall, he is a generally sweet man whose wisdom he tries to pass on to the rest of his pack. When it comes to being away froom the woods and his home, William acts like any normal man; unless he is around enemies. It is then that he can be quite vicious, when he deems it necessary. William is always smart when it comes to attacking and maneuvering himself and his pack during battle. His dislike of hunters and wizards is small compared to that of his hatred of vampires, and he is oftern much more driven when going against those bloodsuckers. Either way, he would never be reckless enough to put his own pack in danger. Bio: William Black was born into a long line of werewolves, changed when he was young as to get the pain over with when he was most likely to forget. His mother was human, but fell in love with his father even after his father told him about who he was, and she also agreed to being changed herself to be closer to him. His father's family name had dated back centuries, and was one of the longest werewolf family lines. As a pup he was raised by his mother, father and grandfather in a cabin near the mountians just outside the Colorado border. He was very bright and athletic, trained by his father and taught wisdom from his grandfather. His mother, on the other hand, taught him how to be loving, caring and warm to others. As he reached his teenage years, his family had joined with another pack of werewolves and moved into the house on the outskirts of Denver. With this joining of packs, he became more knowledgeable with each year that passed, but also came the clashing of two different forces. William now found himself in an everlasting war for power and territory between his own kind and those called the vampires. Luckily, he knew some things about each creature that inhabited this world, thanks to the teachings of his grandfather. He began to fight in battles along side his father by his early twenties, this was the time that his father's physical training would come in handy. His father was a beast when it came to fighting, but William's strength wasn't much farther behind, and his quickness had already surpassed his father's. But nothing could've stopped what happened that one night, the night that his life seemed to begin to fall apart. It was the night of a full moon, and the skies were clear of clouds, normally a sign of good fortune for the future, but that night the sky had deceived him. The vampires had led a raid into the werewolves territory, catching them off guard. There were so many of them that all of the pack members had to engage in battle, with the exception of a couple to stay back with the pups. The fighting was a bloody mess, losing large numbers on each side. But it wasn't until the vampires fell back that William had realized who exactly he had lost. His mother's death devastated his pack; everyone knew her as the most kind and caring woman, always warm and gentle. His father was hit even harder by the loss, eventually becoming reckless. One night he had crossed over enemy lines alone, only to be slaughtered by the enemy. His mental stability had declined so much, that he didn't care whether or not he died, as long as he could bring down a couple of vampires on the way. With the loss of his parents, William found himself concerned about the well-being of his pack member's, often caring for the wounded and looking after the pups. He decided that he would follow in his mother's footsteps, for that would be what she wanted him to do. He found himself more driven to protect his family, fighting bravely in battle and caring strongly for each member more and more everyday. His parents weren't the only people lost that fateful night, it happened that their own Alpha Male had fallen along with them and many others, and when it was time to choose the next Alpha, William was a clear choice. This new role came with new responsibilities, but William happily took on the job and grew a liking to it as the years passed. He watched over the ack with wisdom, pride, and a sense of love, and he had no intention to change that. Vampires, hunters, and wizards would ever come close to his pack; they would have to go through him first, and he has scars to prove how many times he stood up against them for the protection of his family. Character Goal: "My sole purpose in life is to guard the lives of my pack until the day I die. Other desires, such as winning our territory from the vampires is important, but will have to be a second priority until I know my role as Alpha is fulfilled." Weapons: Nothing other than his fangs and claws. His brawn and agility are worth more than any weapon he could carry. Rank: Alpha Male Other: His grandfather died shortly after William was appointed s Alpha Male, but was very proud and happy with the fact that he got to see his grandson be given such a great honor..:The Alpha Female:.Played By: Infinity-Nevermore Name: Artesia Corinne Black Age: 56 Age You Appear: 28 Gender: Female Height: 5'9" Weight: 140 lbs. Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Artesia is long and lithe, with corded arms and legs. Most of her slightly tanned body, except for her face and extremities, is covered in fine black hair. Much longer, straight black hair grows from her scalp to her shoulder blades. Her small face is bony and somewhat gaunt, giving her a severe look, though this is counteracted by looking at her eyes. A rare dark blue, soft and kind, they are the one thing that makes her look less intimidating. Her arms and back bear some scars, the most prominent one running the length of her right arm. Artesia wears light, cheap T-shirts and shorts or sweatpants; the easier it will rip when transforming, the better. She prefers flashy colors such as light purple and bright green, but these are limited to her choice of clothing; she wears no makeup or jewelry. Wolf appearance: As a wolf, Artesia is mostly black, with a fur collar of white and the black of her back tapering off to a light gray on her underbelly and paws. Her muzzle is more pointed than most, but her teeth are large and very sharp. Her eyes are a lighter shade of blue, and look wild. Personality: Artesia projects an image of being tough as nails. Where her partner is friendly and loving, she is serious and slightly aloof. When she does show affection, it's to "her pups," which is what she calls any new additions to the pack during her time as alpha female, and of course, her partner, who she loves more than anything. Even her pups get less affection over time as they become more acclimated to being part of the pack. This does not mean that she acts evilly to everyone else; in her opinion, only children need constant positive attention. She considers her pups as children. As they "grow up," they need less of it. The entire pack knows, though, that Artesia cares for all of them; it is shown in some unusual ways, such as her insistence on cooking all of them dinner, and her personally going after any vampire who harms, or even tries to harm one of them. Artesia has a love of music, so much so that if there is a concert, she is almost assured to be there. If one catches her at the right time, they can hear her singing quietly to herself. It's one of the habits from her life before being Changed that she was never able to squelch. Bio: Artesia remembers the years of her childhood and teenhood in Wisconsin well, back when she was Artesia Selwyn. The were normal, or as normal as they can be when your country is involved in war after war, and various segments of society are standing up and demanding the rights of the majority, especially when one of these segments included her. However, she doesn't remember much of the year she was Changed. That is the one event she remembers of the year she turned 18. A hot summer festival lasted way too long. She was too proud to ask someone to walk her home, but in a deserted, dark park, she ran into a werewolf. She tried to fight it off futilely, as it easily sliced her right arm open; but when it closed in for what she was sure was a kill, she only received a small bite on the hand. The next thing she remembers is waking up with five people surrounding her. They explained what had happened and that their alpha male decided to change her. Artesia stayed with this pack for several years, learning everything that came with her new status of werewolf until her pack was attacked and disbanded by hunters. She joined new packs over the following years until they were killed or broken, always moving south. The perennially short stays that she had with packs before they were killed made her think she was just bad luck, but she longed for companionship. Finally she came upon a pack on the outskirts of Denver. They joined another pack, and Artesia finally began to hope she may have found a permanent home. She fought alongside these werewolves and gained confidence and friends as the pack won fights. The vampire attack on the pack devastated everyone, but all, including her, agreed that William was the best qualified to become the new alpha male. She wasn't sure that she was the best qualified to be the new alpha female, but she gracefully accepted her position. Her new partner proved to be all that she could hope for, and since then she has taken on the role of surrogate mother, teacher and at times, leader wholeheartedly. Character Goal: "My purpose is to stand beside my partner through whatever happens, and to care for my pack, with my life if necessary." Weapons: Her claws and fangs. She always felt that if one couldn't survive with just those, they were too weak to live long. Rank: Alpha Female Other: none.:The Beta:.Played By: Sledge Name: Marco Fenix Age: 46 Age You Appear: 23 Gender: Male Height: 6'0'' Weight: 223 lb. Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Tall and muscular is the creature known as Marco, someone who takes pride in his appearance. He has a naturally smooth, rounded face that he keeps clean by shaving on a daily basis. The only thing untidy about his head is his long, wild black hair which rests a few inches past his wide shoulders. His wide shoulders trimmed down to his rather large arms which really gives him the strength in his human form. With an equally large chest, along side with his powerful legs, Marco is a stunning example of what some werewolves can look like. Fitting in with his appearance he has stone cold eyes to match, striking a hard brown stare at lesser beings or lower ranking members if they show disrespect. When he walks around the home with his fellow pack members he usually seen in rather tight clothing instead of loose clothing, figuring it easier to peel off the tighter clothing since the seams are already stretched out enough as it is. Although he can't completely hide in the shadows when facing danger, he's normally sticks to dark clothing during the night hours for extra stealth though it rarely works. Wolf Appearance: When he goes through the change to become one with the night, Marco's nasty appearance follows closely behind him. His black fur goes thick all around his body, following from the tip of his pointed ears to the end of his long tail. While roaming around on all fours either outside the home or within its wall, he doesn't go by unnoticed. Personality: Marco is very stubborn, never backing down from anything if it has been deemed to much for any werewolf. Easily angered, he isn't afraid to get nasty with anyone who tries to talk back to him or disrespect him or the Aplhas. Although he might be down right mean to most, he actually has a softier side in him to his close friends. He could be found joking with the occasion friend or throwing out compliments to lower ranking members or to the Alphas themselves. It's very rare to see this side of him and when it does occur its only for about a few minutes, going back to being temperamental all over again. Bio: In the beginning his family has always been lesser ranking in the pack until one glorious day when they decided to rise through the ranks. After a challenge, his family was moved to the position of beta were they stayed to this very day along side the Alpha. Marco was born into this pack and showed great promise in the watchful eyes of his parents. Soon after he was born, he was changed just like his parents were and their parents before them. His parents were valued members of the pack but death was something that always followed close to their kind. His father set off with some other members of the pack to do some fighting, unfortunately he didn't return. Overcome by grief, his mother died from a broken heart seeing life without her mate unliveable. He wasn't at a young age but he was still considered a pup when both of them died. Having to deal with the heavy lost of both parents, Marco continued to live for them. Over the years he continually proved himself to others before he was giving the right to become Beta, a high honor for him. He sits next to the alphas now as second in-command of their great pack, holding his position with brute strength and wisdom. Power has been said to influence men to do horrible things. Fortunately that is the opposite for Marco, knowing his place is under the Alphas not above it. Their word is law but when they aren't around its his job to make sure that their law is still influenced to the others. Character Goal: "I only want our kind to continue to live on and finally be able to walk around that corner without feeling afraid" Weapons: The only weapons he needs are his fangs and claws, so far they've down a pretty good job so why change them? Rank: Beta Other: N/a.:The Subordinates:.4 OpeningsPlayed By: Kitty_Katastrophe Name: Alyssa “Aly” Jenison Age: 29 Age You Appear: 21 Gender: Female Height: 5’7” Weight: 125 pounds Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Alyssa is the type of Werewolf that people don't hear about in the stories. She isn't rough and tough, or ragged and dirty. She's actually a rather beautiful woman, and she knows it, too. When the male Werewolves in the pack start wagging their tails - metaphorical or otherwise - it doesn't take long to figure out why. She hasn't become arrogant or self-absorbed with the knowledge. She has dark brown hair that reaches the middle of her back is is usually pulled into a pony-tail to keep it out of her way. Her eyes are amber, the same as they are in her wolf form, and she has enough of a tan for anyone who knows the truth to know right away that she is no Vampire. She's tall and slender, built of lean muscle that came from running with the Pack for so long. She's tall, as well, and these traits transfer over to her wolf form. As a wolf, she is just as beautiful as ever. Her fur is dark brown and soft, medium length, and darkens around her head, paws, and tail. Partly because of her length, she has the ability to travel farther and faster than some of the others in her Pack. Personality: Aly is a girl who hasn’t let the fact that she is a Werewolf ruin her life. She kept her job at a local restaurant for the past several years and no one is the wiser. She’s cheerful and optimistic, but she doesn’t let others bully her. Aside from the Alphas, of course. To them, she’s just a loyal but submissive wolf that knows when to hang her head, put her tail between her legs, and back off. She has no aspirations of grandeur, meaning that the position of Alpha Female does not attract her in the least. She would much rather stay a peaceful Subordinate. Vampires don’t bother her as much as they bother some of the others, and she wants the fighting to end. There are some of them that make her hackles rise, though, and she wouldn’t mind seeing them disposed of. Hunters bother her, mostly because some of them specialize in Werewolves. She won’t be the one to start a fight, but she will definitely finish it with a smile on her face. Bio: Aly has lived in Denver her entire life, perfectly ignorant of the supernatural world around her. She has two older brothers and one older sister, and they all live in Denver, as do her parents. When Aly was twenty, she was walking home from work, since she couldn’t afford a car, and it was a nice night, so she didn’t call a cab. Nothing bad had ever happened to her. Her friends had called her lucky, and said that one night her luck was going to run out. Her luck ran out that night. The rouge werewolf had been prowling the city, attacking young women. The attacks had been unexplainable to the police. It looked like a wild animal had attacked them, but the animal behaved like a human, in some ways. They couldn’t imagine how an animal could pick one victim out among a crowd, specifically choosing woman in their young twenties or late teens. Unfortunately for Aly, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was lucky that she wasn’t killed. Three days later, she woke up with a strange woman standing over her. She introduced herself as an Alpha Female, and explained what had happened to her. For the next several weeks, she was trained to be a Werewolf, but was not allowed to go home. In fact, it took months before she was in enough control of her inner wolf to be able to leave and go assure her family that she was alive. A missing person’s report had been filed, and the police interrogated her on what had happened. She told them that she had hit her head and didn’t remember much, and did not give them any further answers. Character Goal: “I want to end this pointless fighting. If I have to take out a couple bloodsuckers to do that, though, I wouldn’t loose any sleep over it.” Weapons: She wears a cross blessed by holy water around her neck, but other than that, she relies on her Werewolf abilities to get her through a fight. Rank: Subordinate Other: NonePlayed By: DreamClaw Name: Tasha D'Oil Age: 45 Age You Appear: 22 Gender: Female Height: A few centimeters above five foot Weight: 89 pounds Sexuality: Bisexual Appearance: Tasha's hair is a neon green, with her raven black roots poking through. She has silvery-blue eyes and pale skin, due to the obvious lack of sun. She has a slight frame and a thin figure. There's a scar running from the inner crease of her elbow to her wrist from a run in with the vampires at one point in time. Through her decades of changing between her wolf and human forms, her fangs have carried over to her human form. She wears loosely fabricated raver/punk clothes she made herself, colored bright pink with a black stripe down the side. Her wolf form in the same raven black as her roots, at the top of her head is the neon green where her hair's dyed. A tuff of white fur goes from the bottom of her jaw to the upper part of her under belly. {Tasha} Personality: Tasha's an individualist, and will do anything to protect that title. She can be pig headed and stubborn about certain things, even puts on a huge tough girl act. But to the select few her know her well enough (aka, her pack) she's just a huge softy with an unnatural liking for soft and fluffy things. She's got a temper to her, and a pride streak to match. Either one usually evokes the other, and usually gets her into trouble. She's usually quick to anger, but not all that hard to calm down. She's loyal to her pack, but some of her actions are in the interest of self preservation. Bio: Tasha doesn't remember all about her human life. Just bits and pieces. Like life with her parents was always rocky. Most of the time, mom and dad were yelling at each other. Little details always seemed to set them off at her though, so her house was constantly a battle ground. Occasionally, she'd run off to a friends house for days at a time, to escape with the shouting got out of hand. She doesn't exactly remember when she was changed, just that it was sometime in winter, and it was dark outside. And that she had been bleeding before hand, causing the scar on her arm. And painful, very painful. She believes she'd been attacked by a vampire, and was saved by a werewolf. Though who caused what is a mystery to her. She currently works as a waitress for a raver club in the no mans land zone of the city, possibly the only safe place for humans from either north or south. There's been no run ins thus far, but who's to say? Anything can and has been happening lately. Character Goal: "My goal? Same as the rest of the pack, I guess. To win the war against the vampires. And to stay alive. Defiantly to stay alive." Weapons: She normally relies on her animal form, but the chain around her waist is there in case of emergencies. Rank: Subordinate Other: She is not short. She is vertically challenged. She is very touchy about this..:The Omega:.Played By: AlexArgent Name: Tobias "Toby" Silvester Age: 21 Age You Appear: 21 Gender: Male Height: 5' 9" Weight: 160 lbs Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Toby's frame is tall and lanky, muscled, but not to the point where "chiseled" or "defined" would describe him. His black hair is shaggy and unkempt. It frames his face and sometimes hides his eyes if he's looking down. His eyes are an intense blue and tends to unnerve humans. He has dark circles around his eyes from lack of sleep and they look worse than what it is because his skin is so pale. He normally wears dull colors so he doesn't attract attention. He prefers the color black since blood doesn't show on it. He usually wears a loose button-down shirt, untucked, and a pair of loose jeans. Most of his clothes are hand-me-downs or from second-hand stores, resulting in a shabby, haphazard look. He doesn't appear as tall as he is because he is usually slouching and his head is hung low, trying to make himself as unnoticable as possible. His wolf form is mostly black, with a grey tip on his tail and a patch of grey on his chest. In this form, he is abnormally thin, almost to the point where others can count his ribs. He can run fast and far, but being new at this, he tires more easily. Personality: Give me at least two good paragraphs describing your character's personality. Remembering his father's tendency to beat him over the littlest thing, he is quick to apologize and placate. He get increasingly nervous around the Alpha Male and Beta, because he acknowledges that both are capable of hurting him if they want. He lacks self-confidence, often expressing doubt in his own abilities. He feels more at ease with the female members of the Pack and sees the Alpha Female as the mother he can't remember. Because he is usually alone, he is a deep thinker. If he has a good idea, he'll voice it, but if someone else doesn't support it, he'll drop the idea immediately. His best quality is that he is very empathic, and likes to listen to other people's problems. He gives advice if needed, but always saying, "But that's just what I would do," in case it doesn't pan out. Bio:With his mother dead and his father alcoholic and abusive, Toby's life before he was Changed was cruel. He avoided other people and tended to stay silent. He would try to stay out of the house until late at night, when his father was more likely to have passed into a drunken stupor. One night while he was wandering in the woods behind his house, he was attacked by what he thought was a large dog. He barely escaped, but suffered some scratches and a few bites. Over the next few days while his wounds healed, his body ached with the potential Change, but Toby wrote it off as the pain from beatings. The next encounter with his father was his first Change. His father was drunk and about to beat Toby when his body reacted to the danger instinctively, Changing and tearing down the assailant. Toby left his hometown, unable to face what he had done. Although his father was far from great, he still was killed before his time, and Toby carries the guilt with him. He was only eighteen when he had his first Change. He tried to live a normal life, but his monthly changes and nightmares made that impossible. The only reason he seeks a Pack is an attempt to 'normalize' his life. Now that he knows that vampires exist, he feel like he must kill them to atone for killing his father. But he is still young and new to his powers, so while wandering around, he found the Denver Pack. Character Goal: "I want to atone for the blood on my hands." Weapons: He has one dagger blessed by holy water. It wouldn't do a lot of damage, but it would distract a vampire long enough for him to shift, or go get help. He tends to use his claws more than his teeth in wolf form. Rank: Since he doesn't want to fight others of his own kind, Omega. Other: When Toby Changes, his nails always turn into claws first, aiding him in shredding his clothes.

.:Hunters:. .:7 openings:. (( 4 Females ; 3 Males )).:Vampire Specialists:.4 OpeningsPlayed By: Crimson Akane Ryuu Name: Aithne Selena Age: 17 Gender:Female Height: 5' 0'' Weight: 110 Sexuality: Straight Appearance: .[Aithne]. Aithne is quite small, but she uses that as an advantage. Aithne is quite pale, since her work is mostly at night. She has long black hair that goes to her waist, streaked in white. She loves uses that as a weapon in times of need. She has piercing almond-shaped black eyes, with full lips and a sharp chin. She has several piercings, in her eyebrow, her ears, and one on her lip. Aithne's whole body is toned, from constantly working out, and hunting. She favors dark gothic clothing, but doesn't mind wearing a white sundress once in awhile. She has several tattoos, stars on her back and one on her waist. .[Tattoo-Back]. .[Tattoo-Waist]. Personality: Aithne, like her name, is quite firey. She doesn't take stupidity well, and gets annoyed quite easily. Never angry, just annoyed. The last person to make her angry got a stake in his heart. Aithne for some reason, seems to repel people with her gaze. Aithne herself doesn't understand this since she makes an effort to be more social to blend in better. On the outside, it seems that Aithne is cold, intimidating, very strong, and a bit of beauty. However, Aithne is quite lonely (her job doesn't really allow for relationships) and wants one good friend. To keep. Bio: From the beginning, Aithne was a quite baby, never crying. Her parents never understood why thier baby would only stare back them with her big black eyes. However, they didn't have the chance to find out. Her parents became a tasy meal for two vampires. In thier haste, they left the baby to die alone. That's when the Hunter that was one thier trail appeared. Angry that he lost his prey, he kicked the crib, and found that the baby inside growled at him. Curious, he looked at the baby, picked her up and saw a replacement. From there, he took her, and trained her to be a Vampire Hunter. Aithne, of course, was perfect for her new career, killing her first vampire at 13. Her mentor, who never revealed his true name to her, told her to do the same thing. So she rechristened herself Analise. Aithne's relationship with her mentor was a efficent one. She never went to school, since he mentor schooled her himself. Of course, Aithne took a liking to books, with such a feveor that her mentor would punish her by not letting her read. He taught her all he knew about hunting, keeping with her with him all the time, but never really forming a close relationship. Until the very end. In the middle of the hunt, Aithne and her mentor had surrounded thier prey, ready to kill when another vampire they hadn't noticed came in and cut her mentor down. Hissing, they left, leaving Aithne. Crying out, Aithne fell by her mentor's side. His blood flowing in her hands, he smiled, the only time she seen him smile, and spoke his last words, "I'm proud of you, but I need you to finish the job." A tear ran down Aithne's face onto his, and he closed his eyes. Standing up, Aithne wiped her tears, and began to track her prey down. Character Goal: "To finish what he started." Specialty: Vampires. Weapons: A sword, Beretta 92, and a dagger. .:Werewolf Specialists:.3 OpeningsPlayed By: Skunk Blossoms Name: Daniel Latham Age: 23 Gender: Male Height: 5'10" Weight: 167 lb. Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Daniel Daniel is tall and thin with a swimmer's physique; his strong muscles packed tightly due to extensive training. His hands are slightly big and rough, skilled hands that know how to handle a sword. Across his chest are three long scars he received from unkind claws when he was young. His strong shoulders control his almost always perfect posture. The hair atop his head is a dark auburn color, and is longer in the front than in the back in attempt to cover up his blue-gray eyes that are empty and seem to lack emotion. His nose is small and pointed, while his perfect mouth is rarely ever seen with a smile. His skin is fair and flawless, easily comparable to that of a vampire's. Daniel's clothing choices vary, depending on the nights atmosphere. Hardly ever seen in the same outfit twice, because most nights his clothes are stained with blood and he ends up throwing them away. His clothing seems slightly sophisticated, preferring collared shirts over sweatshirts, but will occasionally be seen in a dark colored t-shirt and tight-fitting jeans. Personality: Daniel is a void of emotion. One could never tell if he was happy or sad, because he normally has the same, emotionless expression on his face. He usually doesn't like to socialize, only because he never really had the chance to when he was growing up, all of his time was spent training. Sadly, his exceptionally good looks were never put to use, though when he does go out he gets the occasional holler or whistle from a passerby, but tends to ignore such things. He's serious about his job, but doesn't exactly have a solid reason for going through with it, other than the fact that his parents spent their whole lives killing werewolves and he hasn't known anything else. Bio: All of Daniel's life has been spent training his body to fight and exterminate werewolves, and he can't even remember a time where he spent his time just being a normal kid. Daniel's parents were top-notch hunters, always telling him that he would never be normal, that he had a bigger purpose in life. So, as he grew, he was on a strict schedule. His mother and father made him work on his body a full twelve hours of the day, and the other twelve were for eating and sleeping. His diet was based entirely on a food pyramid that his parents had altered to better test his body. It was sickening to do the same thing day after day, never getting a chance to relax or go out and enjoy a social life. This was the beginning of his persona becoming hard, eventually learning to show no emotion, "Emotion is a sign of weakness," his parents would always tell him. Daniel started to fight werewolves along side his parents at the mere age of fifteen, and fought them alone at the age of seventeen. The first time he ever fought against a werewolf without his parents, he easily destroyed it, but it also managed to leave three long gashes across his chest with its mighty claws. After that his parents began to leave more frequently on extermination missions, sometimes lasting over a month long. The missions took up most of their time, and soon he rarely ever saw them. When, one night he was home alone and his parents were off somewhere on the East coast, the air seemed too still, like time had stopped for a couple of minutes, and Daniel knew his parents were gone for good. Weeks passed without any word of them, confirming Daniel's suspicion. Left with a plethora of devices and weaponry for destroying werewolves, he continued to live in his parents' large house in the city of Denver. The only thing that ever showed he had any emotion in him were his parents silver wedding bands hung on a chain around his neck. Character Goal: "To exterminate the werewolf population. What else is there for me to do?" Specialty: Werewolves Weapons: Daniel prefers to use swords over guns, usually carrying a silver-bladed sword. But, he is also known for using dual blades, and has used silver bullets in emergency situations, but they are very expensive to make so he likes to stick with using swords. Other: Daniel would love to be normal and maybe even have a social life, but all of those years took a toll on him, and he would know how to change his daily routine and take on a new carefree lifestyle.Played By: Kelethor Name: Galvin C. Riensfeld Age: Forty Two Gender: Male Height: 5'11" Weight: 176 Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Galvin contains his refined appearance under many various torn rags, and an old cloak. When not in a meeting or gethering of other Hunters, he keeps his hair unkept, but his beard shaved. This is so he can retain the appearance of a homeless man, giving him the freedom of wandering the streets without suspicion. Under the cloak and rags he wears a silver pendant with an emerald set into it, a family heirloom. The only contrast to this are his boots, which aren't torn or beat up. When asked, he simply says he found them. Galvin has long, dark brown hair. Which is either combed back, or left unkept. His muscular appearance is almost always covered by his garbs. Galvin's eyes are pale blue, and he has no need for glasses. The only noticable scar on Galvin is the scar running down his right cheek. while many others rest across his body, he is rarely seen out of his rags, even when hunting. Like most hunter's he has aged well, having the looks of a man many years younger. Galvin's usually a soft spoken man, but his voice is stong when spoken. Personality: Growing up, Galvin was a hot-headed youth, looking for any chalange he could find, and any fight he could win. At the age of 25 though, he picked a fight with the wrong person, and lost. Since then, he's been a changed man. He rarely smiles, and is often observing. This gives him the appearance of a grim man. This is not entirely true. A smirk will cross his face on occasion, and when alone, he wistles tunes he knows. Galvin prefers to be in a natural enviornment, when hunting or otherwise. He is not a group person, though, he is intelligent enough to join a group, when hunting multiple targets. Galvin is a listener, and not a speaker. This proves especially true in groups, where it is not uncommon for him to say nothing at all. When you can get him talking, he is a kind enough man. His advice is sound, and well thought through. Galvin usually does not kill, or try to kill Werewolves and Vampires on sight, unlike other Hunters. He will usually kill those who attack him, and those who attack others. Galvin believes that some, though few, are not cruel or evil in what they've become. and few as their number is, he tries to spare those he can. This can cause irritation with his peers, which he takes without a word. Bio: Galvin has a history like many Hunters. His youth had been filled with constant training. Day after day of brutal exercises to hone his future skills. At the time, he enjoyed it. Anything that could make him strong neough to face any chalange. He even trained more than they were given, makingh im quickly become one of the best from their generation. Being the best doesn't make you invincible however. Soon after his trainin had officially ended, he picked a fight with Mathias, a 52 year old veteran hunter. Mathias acepted the chalnge, and brutally beat Galvin. He had been changed ever since. Galvin has really ever had one motivation for hunting. It is what he must do, it is the only thig for him to do, to better the corrupted world he is in. Since that day, he has gained respect, which he refuses t acknoledge, from the other hunters. Both from his, and the newest generation. Most of the group hunting he does is only when going after paticularly powerful, or numerous Werewolves. Though, he tackles the occasional Vampire as well. Galvin's family had no real significance in the Hunter's world. his parents were both skilled, but average hunters. His grandfather was Human, the only one in his blood, as far as Galvin knew. Both of his parents had parished while he was training, their house had caught fire, and neither was able to escape in time. His mother's pendant was the last thing he had of them. While, he did mourn, he knew that there was nothing for him to do, and it wasn't at the hands of a Vampire or Werewolf. Character Goal: "This constant hunting, danger, and overall madness is taking it's toll on me. The war never ends though, always raging. Constantly, I see people, hunters, Vampires, and Werewolves fall. For what though? This is the one thing I have not been ab;e to grasp. What could possibly be the point of this constant bloodshed? One day I will figure this out. Only then will I hang up my gunj, and rest." Specialty: Galvin hunts Werewolves. not only was he trained for it, but, werewolves seem, less human when you deal with them. Dispite his enhancement, Galvin is still human. Weapons: Galvin carries a 48. Revolver on his person, at all times. Within the folds of his cloths. Also, the rags keep his longsword, made of silver, it's handle wrapped in black leather, hidden. In case it is needed, he also carries a standard, silver bladed combat knife within his boot. Other: Optional

.:Wizards:. .:4 openings:. (( 4 Males )).:The Merlin:.Open.:The Council:.1 OpeningPlayed By: Mooshi Sushi Name: Amelia Vivien Lugósi Age: 162 Gender: Female Height: 5’9” Weight: 135 lbs. Sexuality: Bisexual Appearance: Amelia At first sight, Amelia is a tall, beautiful woman with glowing, pale skin and long raven hair. After a closer speculation, the woman seems hauntingly perfect. Her black hair shines with moon-reflecting luster, and is as soft as that of a baby’s. Fair skin glows with great contrast to the pitch-black locks that frame her angular face. Her beauty is unnatural, yet alluring; her facial features quite contrary to the usual thought of the word ‘beautiful’. Large, ice blue eyes bug out atop defined cheekbones; thick, lush lashes flutter occasionally over the orbs. Her eyebrows are just slightly too thin, and are perched above each eye, making her wide forehead look a bit wider. Amelia’s nose is small and pointed, creating a small amount of symmetry with her sharp, stone-like chin. A pair of average-sized lips adds color to the fair face, always dark and glossed. Amelia’s body is frail and lithe; stick thin and bony to the highest extent. Her stringy muscles flaunt her defenseless exterior, making it easy to catch an enemy off guard with her powerful magic. Her hands and feet are thin, yet slightly larger than expected. The clothing that adorns this witch’s lithe and lengthy form are quite dated, usually consisting of layered dresses with cinchers or corsets, sometimes with high necks and weathered fabrics. Sticking to the past is a great necessity for Amelia, which is why her wardrobe is this way. The colors are sometimes drab, but the style is always sophisticated and speaks for her hectic, yet routine lifestyle. Amelia is a woman who has found a way to silence her growing age. Her youth is her obsession over all things, and if she finds any sign of aging emerging from her face or body, it is quickly treated. Although she puts almost all of her time and effort into retaining her beauty, there are times when her true age shows, and even her magic isn’t a match for her exhausted body. It is at those times where her hair grays and becomes coarse, and her skin loses firmness. Of course, when these changes overcome her, she locks herself away, hiding from those curious, prying eyes. Personality: Despite the usual description of cold-hearted and cruel, Amelia’s teenage travesty has died down just slightly over the years. There are times when the woman can be strict, though she never really goes as far as purposely being mean to someone. Of course, it would be fair to say that this witch is particularly intimidating; from her appearance, to her icy eyes, to her past and overwhelming behavior. The stories themselves are frightening, though Amelia’s strange behavior could be considered a bit scary. She often has her manic episodes, for truly, deep inside, her birth mother had passed that crazed attitude down to her daughter. If only she knew the reason for her behavior, maybe she would’ve stopped herself from acting like the woman who abandoned her. Sadly, that’s not the case, for she still manages to complete her crazy routines. As for love, Amelia’s only passion is for her own appearance. As long as she isn’t insulted, Amelia will be able to deal with that person. On the other hand, if you compliment her, you are forever on her good side; which is a great side to be on. Romance is needed only to boost her self-esteem, although it is never lagging in any way. The constant approval of men and women alike is something Amelia can definitely live with, and a lively love life has given her countless amounts of energy over the years. When it comes to keeping the city safe from the feuding factions, Amelia keeps watch in every way possible. As a council member, she is required to work for the long lasting peace of Denver, although she would much rather spend her time perfecting her own life. Though she can be strict on her pupils, she is much more lenient in her own methods. Much, much more lenient… Bio: Like most other children, Amelia was born into the world with two loving faces greeting her. Yet, these parents were not exactly her birth parents. Due to an ungrateful, horrid woman, she was passed onto a set of unsuspecting nitwits. Her birth mother was a spectacularly stunning woman, and though she was a smart young wizard, the burden of a child was much too overwhelming and time consuming for such a talented person as herself. The witch, in all senses, threw her little burden into the hands of an all too willing pair of hands; hands which would have not the slightest idea of what was to become of their beautiful adopted child. As she grew older, the young Amelia would often look in the mirror at herself in wonder. Her so-called parents seemed to be nothing like her; their body shapes were undefined, often sagging, with light wispy hair atop their tan-skinned heads; while she, on the other hand, was petite, her skin milky white and her lustrous hair stark as the night time sky. Even as the years went by, she seemed to notice these differences more and more, especially as she was introduced into school. It seemed that no one around her matched her wondrous appearance; and as more people seemed to notice that untamed beauty, Amelia started to become conceited. Her bright and outspoken ways had turned into something unwanted from such a talented girl. When her parents watched their precious daughter begin her social hierarchy, they began to worry. Fate had given them this blessing of a child, and all they had ever done was try to drown the girl in love and teach her the standard morals of any decent human being, and what had resulted from it all was the sharp-mouthed crusade she had managed to sweep over all of her peers. Even if she was not openly cruel to them, it was obvious from her diminishing stares and back-talk, brooding behaviors that she had changed. Without knowing, her crude birth mother had passed on a few overpowering traits down to her abandoned daughter. Though this new attitude was a horrible thing all on its own, her all too human parents would never have guessed the fate that would come with their blessed daughter. When her simple-minded parents finally built up the courage to confront their outstandingly intimidating daughter, Amelia had already grown into a teen, only a year or two away from being considered an adult. And in her age, her mind had grown much more corrupted from the girl they thought they once knew. Their beloved daughter was now staring them down with her ice filled eyes, hardly listening to what they had to say. Once they were done, she had a few words of her own, sour words that any parents would dread to hear from their only child. “I am nothing like you and never will be. When you’re dead and gone, I’ll be glad that I don’t have to see your disgusting faces again.” The ice that poured out of her mouth was only finished off by the sudden crackling of the ceramic tiles beneath their feet. Before they even had time to realize what was going on, large vines erupted from the floor and consumed the unsuspecting pair. Amelia watched as her newfound ability choked her adoptive parents and pulled them down through the floor and out of sight. Days passed before a curious neighbor peered through a window to see the entirely new, green setting the home had taken on. As soon as the city’s White Council had caught wind of the news, they quickly took the matter in their own hands. When they found Amelia, she was locked in her room, staring into a wall of mirrors she had gathered together from various places in the house. Thick vines and tree-like roots covered the walls and floor. They took the raven-haired girl without hesitation. After years of being trained to tone her magic by her assigned master, who happens to now be the much-coveted Merlin, Amelia has managed to learn and manipulate her magical prowess. Thanks to her retained obsession with ageless beauty, she has endlessly combined her mastery of different magic’s to find a way to manipulate certain aspects of time. Although it is not exactly a permanent process yet, it helps her to maintain the beauty she has held on so tightly to over the years. Character Goal: “I suppose I should want everlasting peace, but I would rather have everlasting beauty.” Specialty: Amelia’s specialty centers around manipulating time. A combination of dark, energy and delicate magic has allowed her to specialize her forte around controlling different aspects of time; making her growing need for knowledge via eavesdropping as simple as snapping a finger -literally- and her obsession with being young a bit easier. Amelia has also mastered the elemental magic of earth and ice, but only uses the two for less serious situations. Many know her for her mastery of the earth element, due to her dark past, she uses it as a front to hide her beloved time manipulation. Weapons: Although she carries a wooden staff that seems to be covered in multiple stringy vines, most of her ‘time consuming’ magic is channeled through a long silver locket. The necklace has a lengthy silver chain which supports the generous sized locket, which normally is concealed between her bosoms. When opened, the locket reveals an open-faced clock, which is a detrimental key in her ageless appearance. Due to the years under her belt, although practical, there is no constant need for a weapon to use her mastered magics. Rank: Council.:The Master:.Played By: Kitty_Katastrophe Name: Melanie Clearwater Age: 27 Gender: Female Height: 5'6" Weight: 119 lbs Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance: Melanie has dark, wavy blond hair that reaches past her waist. When needed, she has it up in a high ponytail to keep it out of her way, but she leaves it down whenever she can because she hates messing with it. Her eyes are dark blue and her skin is light, but not too much. Unless she plans on going out - and not working - Mel doesn't bother to put on any makeup or jewelry. She dresses for the occasion, and as she's usually on the job, she rarely wears skirts or dresses. Even when she does go out with friends or with dates, she is hesitant to wear anything that would be hard to fight in if the need arose. She also frequently wears a large coat to hide her Wizarding weapons. Who wants to deal with the questions those would bring up? Personality: Melanie is an outgoing and generally happy person. She likes to make light conversation when around others, but in the presence of something that isn't human, her personality almost disappears to the point that she's almost not human herself. Her emotions are often gone, her face blank, and she fights with all her might. Mel is optimistic, but also fairly realistic. If it doesn't look like she could win a fight, she tries not to get involved. After so many years living as a Wizard, one either develops a highly evolved survival instinct or a reckless abandon for their own safety. She generally leans toward the first. After all, if she's dead, there won't be much good that she can do for the Council, is there? But if she is forced to fight, then she gives it her all. Even if she doesn't win, maybe she can bring down her opponent with her. Bio: Melanie was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She has never been on a vacation, though she has gone on several missions for the Council which took her to different parts of the world. Now that the war between the two supernaturals in the city is getting worse, though, she's become stationed in Denver until it finally ends. Someone needs to stick around to protect the humans who will no doubtfully be involved soon. Melanie discovered her powers when she was fourteen years old when she was swimming in a public pool. Everyone had to climb out because the temperature was dropping rapidly. Only Melanie stayed, not noticing the change because it was her own magic that was doing it. She did notice, however, when ice started forming on the surface. She climbed out as soon as she could, then, and her parents immediately found her a Master. The story was covered up as a fluke in the heating system and no one asked any questions. Under her master, Mel advanced to Wizard status at the age of twenty and has been serving the Council ever since. Her parents were sent up north on a mission when she was twenty-two and they liked it so much there that they told her they wouldn't be coming back. They now serve a different group of Council members. Character Goal: "I want to end this stupid war between the Vampires and the Werewolves. And really, I don't want either of them to win. I wouldn't be surprised if we got actively involved in the war, ourselves." Specialty: Ice magic is her specialty, and since ice is the most delicate kind of elemental magic aside from water magic, she is also talented at delicate magic. Enchantments and potions are easy for her to pull off. Energy fueled magic also comes easily to her, but it hasn't quite been mastered just yet. Weapons: Mel uses a wooden staff when using stronger magic, but she a small wooden wand when performing more delicate magics. Both are carved ornately and have silver handles. She stores extra energy in a silver necklace she keeps around her neck. This necklace feeds off of her energy bit by bit throughout the day so that when she is put in a situation where she must fight, she has a little extra to work with. Rank: Master Other: She used to work as a Warden; meaning, she works harder and more often than most other Wizards in the city..:The Wizards:.2 OpeningsPlayed By: Infinity-Nevermore Name: Malcolm Lindall Age: 32 Gender: Male Height: 6'2" Weight: 175 lbs. Sexuality: Bisexual Appearance: Malcolm looks more like your average everyday person than even most everyday people. He has curly brown hair that's just a shade too long and hangs a bit in his dark brown eyes. His skin is just slightly tanned from trying to absorb all the sun that he can get in this cool city. He has a medium build and the faint outline of musculature across his body, which could be more defined if he ever took the time to develop it. He dresses rather conservatively; most of the time in slacks or khakis, a button-down shirt of a neutral color and a blazer or his favorite leather jacket. On a rare occasion he will put on jeans and a polo. However, at home, it's his pajamas all the time, which are just enough to be decent. Personality: Malcolm is a friendly, congenial guy. He'll talk to anyone who shows themselves friendly, and he's very good at making friends. Part of that is that he's a bit of a daredevil. He'll try anything once. Anything. Therefore, he's had a little more "life experience" than many, which makes him an interesting person to have a conversation with. Conversely, he is one of the laziest people on planet Earth. He's one of those people who will move the coffee table toward him to get the popcorn rather than lean forward and pick it up. And with all the popcorn and donuts he's so fond of, and his aversion to exercise, it's a wonder he's not fat. The only exercise he gets is taking the stairs to go in and out of his apartment building, and of course his wizard training. He's not stupid enough to think that it's anybody's priority to save him but himself. Bio: Malcolm grew up the only child of a single mother. He knew that he had magic in his family, but because his mother didn't have the ability, he always assumed that he didn't have the ability either. That changed at his fifteenth birthday. After the official party, he and some friends went out and had some not-so-legal fun. While they were out, a storm hit. It wasn't so bad as far as rain was, but the lightning was terrible. They seemingly were chased by lightning strikes all the way home, and since Malcolm's house was the last stop on the way home, that was a lot of lightning. At Malcolm's house, his friend's car died. Malcolm, not knowing much about cars, but knowing more than his friend, grabbed a wrench and opened the hood. At that point lightning struck Malcolm and recharged the dead battery of his friend's car. His mother was watching through the window and came running. Malcolm was fine though, except for being thoroughly surprised that the lightning didn't kill him, or at least knock him out. The three of them came to the erroneous conclusion that Malcolm with a wrench was just asking for lightning to strike and the only reason he wasn't dead was that he had rubber soles on his shoes. Three days later, he was being picked up in the oldest car imaginable to be taken for training to control his power. Because of his powers, electrical appliances go even more haywire around him than other wizards. It was a relief to many when he finally got his own house, so he could be less conspicuous. He also keeps a ward, his stepsister Angelique, with him. Character Goal: "I guess my goal, like everyone else, is to keep the vamps and lycans from killing anybody other than each other. As long as they can keep themselves secret and not hurt any of us, I don't really care." Specialty: Electricity. If it has anything to do with charged subatomic particles, he can control it. He's also learning telekinesis, to supplement his laziness problem. Weapons: He keeps a wand on him at all times, that he hides in a fold of his jacket. However, it's only good for low to medium uses of his powers. If there is a need for some heavy-duty lightning control, there is a nondescript but large metal staff that Malcolm keeps at home, just in case. Rank: Wizard Other: As aforementioned, he has a ward. That is his fifteen-year-old stepsister, Angelique. She knows all about him being a wizard, and would love to be one herself, but she doesn't have the ability. Though she's only 15, she is the more responsible of the two. Balancing the responsibilities of high school and having to remind Malcolm to pay the water bill is a full-time job, but they manage.Played By: RPmulie! Name: Rena Miston Age: 20 Gender: Female Height: 5'6" Weight: 145 Sexuality: Straight Appearance: A glance at Rena would not have caught anyone's attention. She was pretty tall, and would wear a baggy top, a pair of worn out jeans and a pair of trainers practically all the time, due to her lack of fashion sense and hatred of shopping. Even in summer, she wore long sleeved tops, as if she was incapable of feeling the heat. Underneath the baggy clothes, Rena was really thin, despite the huge amount of food she ate. Her muscles were slightly defined, from her training and her working in the store, making her a bit stronger than what people would usually think when they first saw her. Her brown hair was cut short, which was "a hell of a lot easier to wash and dry", as Rena would say. It was often messy as she hated brushing her hair, and was often too late to brush it, so that her hairstyle looked slightly different each day, as the layers point in the directions that Rena had slept oon it. Underneath her fringe, which slanted to the right, brown eyes could be seen. However, if one chose to look closer, tiny flecks of gold could be found, which made her eyes seem brighter than an average person's eyes. The tone of colour often remained the same, though when casting magic, or when feeling strong emotions, would it darken slightly. Originally, Rena was tanned, due to the amount of training she used to do with her father, but now, busy staying in the store, her skin was quite pale. Personality: Sometimes forgetting her manners, Rena may seem rude at times, the way she would call people morons, idiots, and whatever insult that happened to come to her head. However, those that know her realise that that was her way of showing her affection. Being extremely proud, there were times when she would say she did not care about the people, when deep inside, she probably cared too much, hence, causing her to shout even more at the person if they hurt themselves. Her kindness would show to those who cared to look for it, and they would find that Rena was selfless, preferring to help other people, rather than look after herself, which often made those care for her worry quite a bit, especially because she was known to be really clumsy. New bruises and cuts form from bumping into things, and being so used to it, Rena never notices them until someone points it out. Rena was a strong person mentally. Completely independent, she had taken the role to be a pillar for her friends to rely on, one that would never break, and would always be there if they ever needed someone. Even if things were bad, Rena would act as if it was nothing, seeming calm, even if she was panicking. Though she may be a bit awkward with hugging people, being not used to it, and cheering them up, it was obvious she was trying her best. The only time Rena becomes nervous was when a person she cares for cried. She may start blabbing nonsense, trying to distract the person, or tell them everything was gonna be fine, and give a rather awkward hug. No matter what time of the day it was, Rena would make sure to be there, if she was needed, even if she was afraid of leaving the house at night. Her likes may not be as easy to see, but Rena made sure people knew what her dislikes were. The biggest dislike she has, is for things that are just stupid. For example, an fly who refuses to keep on flying into some window when she had especially opened the door for it, to avoid it annoying her. Bio: Her childhood was pretty much a normal childhood. Her father would work, her mother stayed at home, while Rena went to school. They would have a family outing every Sunday, when her father had a day off, and would often be seen in the park. The only difference between her childhood and others was that she was trained by her father, so that if anything ever happened, Rena would be able to cope with fights, for the society was getting worse and worse, and a young lady like herself would not survive if she could not fight, her father had said. Everything had been normal, it seemed, until, one night, her father decided to leave the house. The reason was unknown as her mother refused to talk to her about her father. Rena's memories were slightly vague around the time. All she could remember was that she chased after her father, and then...flames...a howl...a different howl...the full moon...and pain. That was as much as Rena could remember, no matter how hard she had tried to remember. She had scars on her right arm, where her mother had told her a wild dog had bitten her that night. Even now, her phobia of the dark remained, making sure that she got herself home before the sunset, while locking the doors and windows and switching on all the lights in the house. The next day after the incident, a man came and told her that he was gonna be her master, and teach her how to control her powers. It took a while for her mother to explain to Rena, as she had no recollection of ever casting magic, that Rena had the power to control fire, just like her mother. Confused, upset, and fearful, she started her training, which lasted 7 years, before she became a wizard. While Rena trained, her mother opened a small local store, which sold a lot of everyday items which people needed. It was pretty successful, so remained open even until the present time. After her training, Rena decided to work at the store, instead of her mother, so that her mother could have a rest, and finally be able to do what she truly wanted to do, which was to travel to many places, and see the world with her own eyes. Now, Rena lived life just like an ordinary person, unless the Council decided to send her on a mission, which has not happened yet. Character Goal: "To beat the crap out of those morons who won't stop some stupid, pointless, and endless war! Seriously, how stupid can some people get?" Specialty: Rena's only speciality was the ability to set things on fire. Her magic was offensive, and required a lot of energy, but after years of training, she found it less and less tiring to use magic. She could even start to cast magic when moving, but may slightly miss the target at times. Weapons: She carries around a small metal wand, often hidden just under the hem of her tops. There is a button, which, when pressed, causes a small silver blade to protrude from the other end of the wand. She had a silver cross on her necklace around her neck, given to her by her mother. Passed down through many generations, it helped to hide her magic, though it required a bit more energy if she ended up needing to cast magic. She owns a large metal staff, similar to her small staff, which would be used if she ended up going on a mission. Rank: Wizard Played By: Syrenrei Name: Devin Ezra Livingston Age: 23 Gender: Female Height: 5'6" Weight: 120 lbs. Sexuality: Asexual (she hasn't really felt or explored this; she has not been attracted to anyone of either sex yet, so she is unsure of what she is) Appearance: Devin looks like a vagrant half of the time. Her clothes are of good quality, but often the styles she chooses are not at all complimentary, a size or two too big, loose, shapeless, and rumpled. In fact, her clothing choice causes everyone but the Merlin to assert that that she is actually a he. Ill-fitted jeans, argyle sweaters, and dirty sneakers are the norm. No one has ever seen her in any clothing that could even give an idea of how fat or thin she actually is! Beyond the clothes, Devin has other features that compel people to regard her as a boy. Her hair is cut short, a mere half a foot long at its shaggiest. Devin's hair might be pretty at that length were it well-cared for; unfortunately, she also lacks the concern for her appearance most girls have. In fact, people have to consistently remind her, reprimand her, or cajole her into bathing regularly. The nail in the proverbial coffin is her lack of shape; her narrow hips and relatively flat chest don't exactly cause womanly curves in the loose fabric. While it is almost certain that underneath there is a diamond in the rough, it would take a strong stomach, several bars of soap, a truckload of conditioner, and a professional make-over crew to coax out any feminine images. Personality: It's amazing that Devin has made it to adulthood; it's due in no small part to the wealth of her parents. To say the least, she isn't the brightest crayon in the box. Horrible at academics and lacking basic common sense, she is the sort of woman who gets lost on her way home and spends an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out someone's riddles or jokes. In order to get Devin to understand basic things, they must be ordered or asked very straightforward. If these were not enough social issues, Devin is absent-minded to the point of forgetting to shower, wash her clothes, eat meals, and occasionally take things out of the oven. Things leave her mind as quickly as they enter at times. In fact, that's most of her problem, really: Devin has a vivid imagination that borders on brilliance, often throwing her into wild, inspired thoughts that take her out of reality. If only she could communicate them... for she stutters often and will omit or horribly mangle words beyond recognition too. She has some saving graces, though: honest to a fault, friendly, kind, and eager to please, Devin is a good friend for those that can tolerate her less heartwarming qualities. Despite her often, frequent failures, she never intentionally breaks rules or upsets anyone; in fact, most of her blunders are excused because she simply forgets or is oblivious to her errs. Bio: Devin was born to two extremely wealthy wizards. Even knowing that the magical bloodline was only really passed through the mother, both hoped that their combined abilities would create an especially talented child. Her father was a lawyer and her mother a librarian; both tried desperately to impart their vast knowledge on their daughter. Their efforts were not rewarded: early on they recognized that Devin was not a child prodigy in any intellectual sense. She was tested three times to make sure that she didn't have a learning disability. They eventually discovered and learned to live with the simple fact that Devin was not mentally slow; she was just distracted. When curious and involved, she displayed fleeting moments of brilliance- but nothing could hold her attention for too long. Devin was prone to staring off into space, her mind taking daring adventures into the great beyond. As she got older, Devin started to interact more with the 'real world.' While still much more a 'daydreamer' and 'out of touch' than most, she was functional. In school she passed her classes (barely), made friends (who were just as strange), and participated in a few school events here and there. Her parents had given up all hope of their daughter being gifted when, one day, they discovered her swimming in the pool. As they watched, she failed to come up for air for over half an hour. When Devin finally did emerge, she simply said, "I felt what to do." At 14 Devin was assigned a master. It took three moves and six instructors before they found one that could... tolerate... her odd behavior. Finding a wizard as crazy as their daughter was no simple task, but once they found him they were glad. He informed them that Devin was simply very intuitive and had to be shown things many times as speaking did nothing to aid in the learning process. By 18 he told them that there was nothing else he could do; her mastery of elemental water was beyond his own. Devin, he was confident, could teach herself the rest. Her parents have since relocated to a balmy beach in Florida, returning to Denver only for occasional visits. Devin has inherited the house and gets a monthly allowance to live on. Her mother, in particular, regularly checks to make sure that she is taken care of, as she and Devin's father both seem to realize that Devin is not now, nor may she ever be, ready for the 'real world'.... or actually, the 'real world' may not be ready for her. Character Goal: "One day I want to swim with mermaids. I'm sure they're real." Specialty: Devin excels in water magic. While she has displayed an ability to dabble in energy and wind, respectively, she has an obsession with the first. Genius in her ability to control water magic, her mastery is rivaled only by those who are equally devoted. Out of every 10 hours spent practicing, 8 of hers are spent solely on her first love. So in tune is she with the element, sometimes water will condense over her head creating a true "personal raincloud" that is centered on her being in a small radius. Weapons: Devin has found it largely impractical to use a weapon; wands are disregarded quickly since they are made of wood and not something liquid as she might prefer. Staffs are also dismissed for the same reason. Rank: Wizard Other: Devin looks like a boy to everyone but the Merlin (see above). She is aware of Malcom's power over electricity and, when she remembers that he wields it, is prone to running away in fear..:The Apprentice:.Played By: Skunk Blossoms Name: Cailee Zinc Age: 14 Gender: Female Height: 4'9" Weight: 81 lb. Sexuality: Bisexual Appearance: Cailee Zinc Cailee is small and petite, her body thin and almost frail looking. Her skin is fair and smooth, like that of a baby, and her body is young, not having any womanly curves just yet. Her arms and legs are small and slightly short, though they are proportional to the rest of her small body, and have an average amount of muscle. Her hands and feet are lovely and dainty, but are clumsy and foten get her into tight predicaments. Her rounded face supports a purple head of hair, which is short and wispy. Her eyes are the same purple color, and are accompanied by thin, curved eyebrows. Her mouth is small with pink lips that add to her youthful appearance, and her almost puffy cheeks give her a cherubic look, especially when she smiles and her dimples show. As for her attire, Cailee usually wears casual clothing, such as jeans and t-shirts. Unless she is in the presence of her Master, the council, or Merlin, then she would dress up in more formal outfits. Usually wearing a light, flowing dress, due to her mother always insisting to dress her up when she was younger. Cailee's favorite color is blue, which explains her almost entirely blue wardrobe. Also, she always wears a necklace that her mother gave her for her 14th birthday that has a sparkling cross hanging from it, and a thick-banded silver ring that has various patterns etched into it, and a pale blue stone. Personality: Cailee is always in an adventurous mood, but being an apprentice doesn't exactly give free range over the expanses of Denver. She is slightly rebellious, but can also be thoughtful at times, though those moments don't last very long. She listens to her Master's teachings, but forgets most of them when she is out in the 'real world'. Cailee is also very proud for a young teenager, and whenever she messes up (which happens alot) her spirit is broken easily, and she tends to lash out and get defensive. Her youth is also a touchy subject for her; always wanting to be an adult and go on missions like her mother and other more advanced wizards do. But, all of this makes her quites devoted and determined to up her skills, and gives her a sort of brave and willing demeanor. Bio: Cailee grew up in a small town in Michigan. Her mother was a wizard, but her father was an ordinary human. She was an only child, and her parents loved her more than anything. She was used to her mother's magic and was very curious about it, always wanting to watch her conjure up spells and enchant objects, which led to her hair and eyes turning purple when one spell backfired. They simply began to laugh, her mother taking a liking ot the color as time passed, and whenever anyone asked about her hair or eyes, she would tell them that she had contacts, and had recently dyed her hair. In her pre-teenage years, Cailee began to gain an adventurous quality. This, added to her growing curiousity, was what led her to start exploring the woods that peeked through from her large backyard. Each time she went to explore she found something different; a cave, a pond, a stream with fish swimming through it. But, the last time she ever went into those woods, she found a small, grassy meadow enclosed by pine trees. The meadow itself was enchanting, small flowers scattered in bunches across the long grass. Cailee ran to the center, feeling the breeze fly through her hair and across her skin as she closed her eyes and smiled up towards the sky. She began to spin around in circles, her arm stretched out on either side of her as the wind seemed to get faster, giving her the feeling that she was defying gravity. What she didn't know was that she actually was defying gravity, and as she stopped spinning and touched her feet back on the ground, she opened her eyes and screamed at the sight. What she saw was no longer the meadow, but a barren dirt pit. The trees around her were broken and knocked over, as though a tornado had touched down right where she was standing. When her mother found her crying on the ground, she looked around at the scene as she cooed to her child, and she knew that it was time to find Cailee a Master. But, in such a small town, the magic community was slim to none, and her mother couldn't teach her on her own. So, they traveled South to a well-known magical community located just on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado where they would make their new home in a spacey apartment in the city. Here, Cailee would be an apprentice and study to make her magic-using skills better, and here she would have a new variety of places to explore. Hopefully, she wouldn't get herself in too much trouble. Character Goal: "I need to get better with my magic! That way I can do all the cool stuff that other wizards do, like patrolling, going on missions, getting into fights.." Specialty: Cailee's specialty is magic that deals with the element of air. When she uses a spell, though, she has almost no control over it, and the spells she does have control over, hardly work at all. She also uses delicate magic, and some pure energy spells, but they are very hard for her to control, like the rest of her magic abilities. Weapons: Instead of using a wand or staff like most wizards, Cailee's magic is channeled through a ring that rests on the pointer finger of her right hand. This gives her a quick way to use magic, simply having to point her finger when she's using a spell, which is quite handy. Rank: Apprentice

.:Vampire Facts:. There are many myths revolving around Vampires. Some are true, some are not. I'm here to clear it up for you. (Note: I got most of these from Twilight, others from Kitty and the Midnight Hour series, and a few from Dresden Files. All of these are good books.)
Vampires live in large groups, called Families, for protection. They will stay in the home of the Masters, and will reside in the basement during daylight hours.
They burn in sunlight, but it doesn't usually kill them. Instead, they get very bad sunburns very quickly. With prolonged exposure, however, their skin will blacken.
Holy water does not kill Vampires, but they do react to it like they have a bad allergy, along with crosses. Hives will erupt where they were touched by either of these and they will not heal until they feed again. A stake to the heart, however, will kill them. Another way to kill a Vampire is to remove its head, which is somewhat simpler, as far as Werewolves are concerned.
Vampires don't sleep in coffins. Or anywhere, actually. They can't sleep. They can, however, slip into a comatose-like state, but it isn't necessary.
They do show up in pictures. They do not blur out the photo or simply disappear. Unless they want to, that is. Vampires have the ability to bend light around them, causing themselves to disappear in mirrors, photographs, and the like.
Vampires can cross running water and enter a house uninvited, but they are made just as weak as a human if they do. They will remain weak until they cross back over the water again or leave the house.
Vampires are poisonous, in a sense. Their saliva is addictive and, once it touches a person, all they can feel is pleasure. It's how the Vampires can keep a victim still long enough to get a decent meal.
Vampires are made by draining the victim entirely of blood. This process takes three days, and it is very painful. Usually, though, the Vampire-to-be is unconscious during this time. The pain of having your entire body die, your heart stop, and your physical makeup itself shifting to a new form is usually too much.
Because their bodies have basically died, and are no longer capable of aging, it is impossible for a Vampire female to become pregnant or for a Vampire male to make any female pregnant. Their bodies have completely stopped functioning in the human sense.
Vampires have one rule among themselves; They must not expose themselves to the humans. If a Vampire intentionally reveals himself or herself, or even if they are found out by accident, other Vampires generally take it upon themselves to enforce this rule by killing the offending Vampire and any humans that were around along with them.
The height of a Vampire's power is during the New Moon. . razz hysical Characteristics of Vampires:.Vampires have very white teeth. Their fangs are just slightly elongated and pointed. Vampires are physically attractive to their prey. Though Vampires may look as heavy as a normal human, they are much lighter. When a Vampire is Turned and the body dies, they loose a large amount of weight - almost as though they are hollow - though their appearance does not change. .:Natural Abilities of Vampires:. Vampires are faster than Werewolves, but are usually not as strong. This varies among individuals, however. Their senses of sight, hearing, and smell are all much more sensitive than our own. Their eyesight is better than a Werewolf's, but their hearing and sense of smell is not as keen. Their wounds will not heal until they drink blood, in which case they will heal even faster than a Werewolf's wounds would heal..:Family Hierarchy:. .:The Master:.As the lord of the house, he overseas everything that goes on with the other Vampires of the city. If one of them steps out of line, it is his duty to punish them. If they expose themselves to humans, or threaten to, it is his duty to destroy them. It is also his job to keep all of the Vampires - and the humans, as there are several kept as servants around the house - under his command protected from danger and accidental exposure..:The Mistress:.She is the Master's partner, and assists him in dealing with the rest of the Family. While he is away, she holds all the power of the house in her hands. If he dies, she takes over the Family. It is not necessary for her to choose another partner if this happens, which is one reason why occasionally these women kill their husbands. .:The General:.He is usually the Master's best friend. His job is to advise the leaders, guard the Family's territory, take care of the house if both the Master and Mistress are away, and take control of the Family if the leaders are both killed. If the matter is not important enough to bring directly to the leaders, he will take care of it instead..:The Followers:.They are of average rank in the family and so answer to the Master, the Mistress, and the General. They have no real responsibility other than to do what they are told and to guard the secret of what they are. They do handle very minor matters that usually just involves themselves and they are normally the ones to keep the Subsidiary in check..:The Subsidiary:.Usually the newest to the life of a Vampire, the Subsidiary answers to everyone in the house and has no responsibilities other than keep Vampirism a secret. They are also the least in control of what they are, so if they go into town, another Vampire - usually a Follower - will go with them.

.:Werewolf Facts:. There are many myths revolving around Werewolves. Some are true, some are not. I'm here to clear it up for you. (Note: I got most of these from the Kitty and the Midnight Hour series. If you haven't read the books, you should. They are very good.)
Werewolves live in groups, called Packs, for protection. They live in the house of the Alphas, especially in times of danger, and go hunting with the Pack on the Full Moon Night. Only on regular nights might a wolf venture out alone, and even then, they probably won't go far.
They do not need to wait until the full moon to Change. They can take wolf form any time they like, but the full moon is the only time that they are forced to Change. Before they do, they must remove their clothing, or they will injure themselves as they shift forms.
Nearly every time a Werewolf returns to human form, they loose consciousness for varying lengths of time depending on their condition.
Werewolves are injured by silver in any form. A silver bullet will kill them, as would a silver knife. Silver in other forms, like a necklace or earrings, will hurt and weaken them, and they will react to it much like a Vampire reacts to holy water, but it won't kill them.
As soon as silver gets into a Werewolf's blood via a bullet, a dagger, or another form of silver weapon, they are essentially doomed. The moment the silver gets into the blood stream, it is pumped through the body, killing the person from the inside out. It usually only takes a few minutes, depending on the amount of silver.
To a Werewolf, staring someone in the eyes is the equivalent of challenging them. Alternately, even the simplest touch from another wolf can comfort them, which is why they travel in close knit Packs. Wolves are thus closer to each other than they ever were to their own family.
A Werewolf's blood is like a finely aged wine to a Vampire, which stems most of their hatred.
Werewolves can still eat human food, but they prefer their steaks rare. When they are in wolf form, they will hunt and kill for food, but this is usually only on Full Moon nights.
Changing is a rather addicting thing to a Werewolf, and some people have been known to change to wolf form and never return to their human form. However, this is a rare occurrence, and usually done voluntarily. The farthest it normally goes is nightly trips as a wolf, but the Werewolf is always able to Change back without much difficulty. Over time, however, the body may forget how to be human, and certain wolf-like traits might carry over to the human form - such as claws, fangs, different bone structures (especially in the face), and more hair on the body.
The more stress a Werewolf is under, the more likely they are to involuntarily Change. If a werewolf is threatened by a Vampire, for example, and it looks like a fight will break out, they tend to Change by reflex, shredding their clothes and sometimes injuring themselves. To avoid injury, werewolves tend to dress in comfortable, easily shed clothing.
Werewolves maintain their weight from form to form. If they are 150 pounds as humans, they are 150 pound wolves. If the person is large enough, at if they are seen at enough of a distance, they can sometimes be mistaken for bears. Since normal adult male wolves average ninety-five to one hundred pounds and females about fifteen pounds less, Werewolves in wolf form are almost always larger.
Werewolves can live up to one hundred and fifty years, but they will look like a human half that age. Some Werewolves have been known to live to two hundred, but since most Packs are violent and Pack members are often challenged, it is rare that any of them live past fifty.
Werewolves are made by biting a victim, which is similar to how Vampires are made. However, blood does not need to be drained. Very little damage is actually necessary. As long as the saliva of the wolf gets inside the wound, they will become a Werewolf in three days. This process is painful and disorienting, so the victim is normally unconscious for the duration.
A Werewolf female can get pregnant, but she can never be more than one month along. Every time she Changes on the Full Moon - or any other night - the body changes too much to sustain the life of a child and she will have a miscarriage. Male Werewolves may still get human females pregnant, but the child will not be born a Werewolf.
The height of a Werewolf's power is during the Full Moon.. razz hysical Characteristics of Werewolves:.Werewolves always have the eyes of their wolf form, even when they look human. The color of hair that they were born with is the same color as their wolf fur. If someone dies their hair, then the hair on their head will be slightly discolored. Wolf characteristics like claws and fangs might carry over to their human form if the Werewolf has spent too much time in wolf form, but it is rare, and it usually takes many years to happen..:Natural Abilities of Werewolves:.Werewolves are usually stronger than Vampires, but are also slower. However, they can move faster than the average human and can run longer distances. These traits vary among individuals. Their senses of hearing, smell, and sight are all better than our own. Their senses of hearing and smell are better than a Vampire's would be, but their eyesight is not quite as acute. They are fast healers. An injury that would take a few days to heal would be healed in an hour. An injury that would take months would take only days.. razz ack Hierarchy:. .:The Alpha Male:.The Alpha Male is the dominant wolf in the Pack. He oversees everything the other wolves do and is responsible for their actions. If another Werewolf steps out of line, he confronts them. Rarely does he actually kill the other wolf, though, because as soon as they show submission to him, he is supposed to stop. If he does not, the rest of the pack will usually attack him, not wanting such a ruthless wolf as their leader. .:The Alpha Female:.She is the Alpha Female's partner, and she helps him deal with the other wolves in less serious matters. Normally she trains new 'pups,' which is what they call new werewolves, in their ways. In serious matters, she usually steps aside and lets the Alpha Male take care of it. She is usually fiercely loyal to her partner, and will even turn on the other wolves if they gang up on him for being ruthless. If the Alpha Male dies, she is bumped out of her place unless the new Alpha Male decides to keep her. If not, a new Alpha Female is chosen..:The Beta:.Usually the Alpha Male's best friend, he helps with keeping wolves in line while the Alpha Male and the Alpha Female are away. The Beta is generally the one to become the new Alpha, but there have been exceptions. If a new Alpha is chosen, and he is not made the Beta, he will usually challenge him to re-establish the pecking order of the pack. If not, he still retains his position in the pack as long as the Alpha wants him there..:The Subordinates:.They answer to all other wolves beside the Omega, which they usually bully, and are always trying to establish order of rank among themselves. It isn't uncommon for wolves to challenge each other, but blood is rarely shed because the fights are rarely worth it. If two Subordinates are in a fight, the Alphas and Beta make sure no one interferes unless the fight gets too violent..:The Omega:.The lowest ranking member of the Pack, the Omega is usually the most submissive Werewolf. The Omega rarely, if ever, challenges any of the other Werewolves for ranking within the Pack, and instead prefers to play with the others, easing tension. The Omega's responsibility is virtually non-existent.

.:Hunter Facts:. These Hunters are a breed apart from the humans, even if they are technically humans themselves. Generation upon generation of Hunters have been trained to kill Vampires or Werewolves from about the time of birth to adulthood. Usually, training is finished at the age of twenty-five, but sometimes it's finished sooner. It depends on the teacher and on the abilities of the student.
After so many years of Hunters marrying Hunters from other families, each child is stronger than average at birth. In childhood, they can take down an young adult male without breaking a sweat. As a teenager, they are at least twice as strong as the average adult male. As an adult, they can barely be called human any longer. Their bodies have been conditioned to pack muscle tightly, rather than look like a group of body builders, both by traits their parents had and by their life-long training.
Not only are they deceptively strong - not always matching a Werewolf's strength, but usually coming close - but they move faster and for longer amounts of time than any Olympic runner could ever even dream of doing. This way, they can nearly keep up with Werewolves as long as the Werewolf is in human form, and even then, it isn't easy to shake them off. They might not be quite as fast or strong as a Vampire can be, but neither are they easy prey. Even in small groups, they're dangerous to any supernatural being on it's own.
Their bodies naturally reject pain, which makes some people wonder if adrenaline constantly flows through their veins. It's also as if their bodies know that even the smallest injury could mean death. Their blood will clot quickly at the wound, helping to make them seem less appetising.
They often work in groups of two or more, depending on how many enemies they are after at the time and on how old they all are. The older a Hunter is, the more experience they have, and so the stronger and faster they are. Not until the age of sixty do they even begin to weaken.
Their life span - if they are not killed in battle - can easily reach one hundred years.
They are able to identify all supernatural creatures on sight - regardless of their guise. Call it a sixth sense.
Weapons of choice are guns which use shells made with a metal/silver alloy and cooled in holy water. They'll use swords made of a metal-silver alloy which were cooled in holy water as well. However, other guns are used in a similar fashion, as are daggers or other blades. Some like to carry specially made explosive rounds on them, but it depends on the Hunter and their particular tastes in weaponry. The only downside to having so many weapons - especially ones with silver or holy water - on their person is that Vampires and Werewolves can usually tell who they are by smelling them.
With all of these things together, they literally exist to kill the supernatural creatures that live in their city.

.:Wizard Facts:. There are many myths revolving around Wizards. Some are true, some are not. I'm here to clear it up for you. (Note: I got most of these from the Dresden Files. It's a good series.)
If a Wizard - of any of the ranks - does not follow the rules of the Council, and if their crimes are bad enough, they may be executed by the Merlin or a Council member. If none of these wish to carry out the execution, they will order a Wizard to do so. If the Wizard refuses, then it is usually counted as a betrayal and the Wizard is punished. Rarely, though, are they killed for just that.
All Wizards of any ability level must never let normal humans know of their existence. This is for practicality purposes, since exposing themselves would expose the rest of the supernatural world. Unless people were harmed in the loss of secrecy, then that person is often moved far away and the story is covered up to the best of the Council's ability. However, sometimes friends of Wizards have learned the truth and nothing was done.
Both men and women can be Wizards, but neither never inherit it from their fathers. Magic is always passed on through the mother.
Powers are normally realized in the early stages of the teenage years, and often strange events will happen around them. A young wizard needs to find a Master as soon as they can or their powers will become harder to control.
As long as the intent is clear, a Wizard can blurt out any word to do magic. There is no set vocabulary to remember. It is, however, much easier to master an ability if the Wizard sticks with the same word for the same spell, rather than changing it.
There are other kinds of magic than elemental, which it is the most destructive. There is light, dark, and pure energy as well. Other, more delicate, spells can be used to enchant objects or to make potions.
Magic doesn't mix well with technology, so Wizards literally live in the past. Cars work, but normally only cars that were made in the early 1900s. Light bulbs never last long. Appliances, radios, televisions, clock radios and the like all quit working very fast.
Unless a Wizard is suppressing their power with some sort of charm, then the Vampires and Werewolves would be able to sense the magical energy. They may not be able to pinpoint it to the person it's coming from, depending on how used to Wizards they are and on how many other people are around.. razz hysical Characteristics of Wizards:.Wizards look like humans in every way. It is impossible to pick them out from a crowd of humans, since they are essentially humans themselves. The only way to tell if they are a Wizard is to see if they are carrying around a staff or other magical item. Even this, though, is not a definite way of recognising one..:Natural Abilities of Wizards:. Each Wizard has different talents. However, with practice, any Wizard can conquer any element or power. To make things simple, the Merlin will have mastered everything, the Council will have mastered anywhere from four to five, Wizards will have one to four, and Apprentices will struggle with everything. An Apprentice can be better at one than another, but nothing is mastered. Wizards are more resilient than humans are, so they are a little harder to injure, but they are still basically human. They are usually both faster and stronger than the average human, though it varies with the individual. Wizards age half as fast - sometimes a little slower - as normal humans do, and as such, they can live up to about two to three hundred years. This is, however, just as common as the average person living to be one hundred..:Council Hierarchy:. .:The Merlin:.Being older than - and thus more experienced - most other wizards, the Merlin is the most powerful person on the Council. He is the largest voice in the decision making, since he is the tie breaker, and everyone respects him. However, if there are too many people that oppose him or the Council on an issue, it will often go to a majority vote. It is the Merlin's job to keep everyone safe and to hand out jobs to other Wizards..:The Council:.The White Council - or simply the Council - includes the Merlin and two others. These three men or women are responsible for the safety of their city. Normally, conditions of the world are not so bad that Wizards of different cities have felt the need to team up, and this time is no different. During such times of peril, there are usually anywhere from five to seven Council members..:The Master:.Male or female, the Master is the teacher of the Apprentice. A Wizard may volunteer to teach when the need arises, though occasionally the Merlin or the Council will simply assign someone an Apprentice. The Master is a more experienced Wizard, though this does not always mean that the Wizard is old..:The Wizards:.Known simply as Wizards, these are the ones who take on assignments according to what the Merlin says. Some are a little more independent than others, and some are involved enough that they may take on an apprentice. Some Wizards even take on the title of Warden, which is just barely higher ranking, and they have more responsibility to the Council. .:The Apprentice:.The lowest of all the ranks, and usually a teenager, the Apprentice's only job is to learn and to do what his/her Master instructs. The Apprentice's Master is his/her teacher and, no matter the gender, is always called Master unless otherwise stated by the instructor. The Apprentice has very few abilities and they are usually not very developed. If they are, then there is little to no control on said ability.

.:News:. 7/21/08 - The thread is open for posting. 7/15/08 - I opened the roleplay to let people start applying..:FAQs:. Q: You set the role play at night. What's up with that? A: First off, Vampires burn in sunlight, so I at least wanted it to start out at a time that they could be out and about. Secondly, Werewolves are usually nocturnal, too, taking night jobs and sleeping during the daytime. Why go to sleep when the enemy is up and ready to fight?
Q: You missed a myth, and it's bugging me. Could you fix it? A: If you can think of something that I wasn't able to, then go ahead and PM it to me. I'd appreciate it!
Q: I'd like to have a Were-girl and a Vampire guy. Is cross....racial luffles okay or is that weird? A: It's perfectly fine.
Q: How jealous do Vampires get? For example; could the Master drink from anyone when hurt or would the Mistress have him killed? A: Their thoughts on things like that are different than ours would be. Unless he Turns the girl, keeps her close, and treats her too affectionately, then the she most likely won't get jealous.
Q: Are vampires allowed to reveal their existence to a discreet few? A: Yeah, they can. Willing humans can be taken on as servants (not slaves. Ew.) to work around the mansion. They're paid well and given a place to stay (in the mansion, so they won't ever be far) and they usually reside upstairs, as the Vampires stay in the lower levels half of the time. These humans know what their employers are and stay anyway, whether it be because they enjoy being fed on or because they are descendants of family members who have worked for the Vampires for generations.
Q: Do people realize they've been fed on, or does the euphoria usually make them too delirious to realize it? If so, what do they think happened? A: Probably not. They'll probably just think that they had too much to drink and ended up wandering off. It happens enough that no one really thinks much about it. Vampires are careful to choose their victims wisely, and to usually make sure that at least their face will not be remembered when the person wakes up. If, however, the person is aware of the supernatural, they'll know what happened just because they'll know how to recognise the signs. Normally, the people who know what is happening to them are the servants of the house, whose job it is to keep the Vampires fed and to keep the place clean and in order.
Got a question? I'll be happy to answer it.
