Hi! I'm Kaley. I'm 16 and I love science. Obviously XD
My particular field of interest is astronomy and astrophysics.
I plan on majoring in astrophysics - I hope to eventually get
a PhD. I also really like chemistry. Next year, I'm taking
Advanced Placement Chemistry, as well as honors Physics
and Earth Science B (it has a major astronomy unit). On
top of that, I will also be taking AP Calculus BC. Needless
to say, I will have a LOT of work. Nevertheless, I am looking
forward to it. It is my absolute dream to go into space one
day, though how realistic that dream is, I'm not entirely
sure. I also am a huge trekkie! I've seen almost every episode
of Star Trek: Voyager and every episode of Star Trek:
Deep Space 9. Voyager is by far my favorite. I love fantasy.
Currently, my favorite author is Lois McMaster Bujold, but
it changes frequently, as I am constantly finding new books
that I love. On top of being a total nerd, I also happen to
be a drama freak. I love musicals and am an official member
of the International Thespian Society. Basically, that's a
fancy way to say I spend way too much time in drama. But,
I love it! I'm always behind the scenes. So far, I've done two
plays on sound crew, one as assistant stage manager, one
as head of publicity crew (actually, I WAS publicity crew XD)
one as co-stage manager, and one on lights crew. I've attend-
ed the Missouri State Thespian conference for two years in a
row. My favorite bands are the Postal Service and Death Cab
For Cutie. I also love John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Gavin DeGraw,
Hanson, and a whole bunch of others. For some reason, I
absolutely love the show Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I don't
know. It's just so cute! I love Tim Burton films. My best friend's
middle name is Normando - I love it! I'm left handed . . . . (: . . .
