Hale wandered through the market once again, fluttering from shop to shop, asking about the disappearing antiques shop. No one seemed to know anything about such a place. He sighed miserably and wandered for another hour before meandering into the Aimes Circle and taking a seat on a bench and leaning his head back to look up at the night sky.

His head was spinning with a million questions, and he was tired. He had been to every glassblower, antique shop, novelty store, artisan he could find, but no one knew what the bottle was. "Damnit," he growled slightly as he held up the bottle to the full moon to try and look through it. Much to his surprise, it was transparent, and the moon could be seen through the little clock that ticked away through time.

As the final sun ray faded over the western horizon Sojo threw a ball into the air and it came down hovering in front of him, glowing. The sounds of metal gates sliding filled the town now as the last few people left on their way home, the town becoming an unmoving story book. Fewer people were out tonight than normal, but Sojo paid no mind as he looking at the small glowing ball. It lit up the area around him helping him see as lights were extinguished throughout the street.

As he entered the main square he felt the lights surrounding the tall fountain fade off and stared as the water glowed in the moonlight. The castle gates stood tight as the tall building stood watch over the unmoving landscape. As he kept his pace, following the city streets he heard a meow and turned in enough time to see a jet black cat dart into an alley way. The city had become unsettling tonight. As he found his normal place beside the fountain he touched the water, feeling it become lighter he noticed that the moonlight spell had more of an effect tonight.

The fountain shined in the light even better than normal as Sojo began to look around. A few people walked here and there, paying no mind to the daily visits of this stranger who had entered their town. Even the normal wind felt uneasy. Shaking off the thought he pulled out a file and a journal where he wrote down even more about the dusts who he watched over.

"Day 54--

Today seemed an odd day here in the town, as the streets seemed lurking with fear and the wind uneasy, even more forceful than that of the past. I have not yet seen or felt any presence of a dust, though Aevah said more were to come. Still I look onward for some signs..we're running short of time. I can feel it...

Hale felt a chill run up his spine, the same chill he got when thinking about the events from the day before when he had discovered that creepy place. He sighed and closed his eyes against the sight of the bottle and the moon, both being to bright for him at the moment. He had not slept well overnight, and woke up with a terrible migraine. His only saving grace for not looking like one of the walking dead were his looks and his ability to shut away his feelings, thus hiding his expression of fatigue.

He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees, his head hanging between them for sometime before the chill swept over him again. He had been attempting to ignore it, not wanting to get involved in more strange magical incidents that would throw him through time; last thing he needed right now was another time shift.

Hale looked up from his brooding to the fountain, he was sure he had been alone in the circle for sometime already, and the fact that he had not heard someone approach worried him a little. Was he just losing his mind? This man looked different than a normal person, he felt different, and before he realised it, Hale was staring at the man by the fountain intently for quite sometime, the bottle clutched tightly in his hands.

Sojo felt the gaze stare upon him as he stored the folder and spiral away. Acting normal he pulled out Hymn's bottle which he had managed to save in the process since Hymn never really lost the treasured item. Before he pulled the bottle all the way out of the sack, he froze. The presence of another dust was near, but who was it.

Looking up once more he locked onto the gaze of the stranger before vanishing in a second. The bag just falling to the ground, the bottle inside it rolling out. Appearing behind the man was an easy task and with one swipe of the hand he had the others bottle in his own. It was an easy task to pull off from a tired man.

"You have a dust..." he said starting, mystified at the bottle. This one was so different. The ticking that emitted from it intrigued him as he made a slight guess "Time..." What a wondrous thing to have. Lifting the bottle up to the moon he watched the light shine through and the bottle become clear, as he did so words of his own rang in his head.

"Raise the bottle to the sky, and see, and see that truth I even tried to deny.."

The bottle shined clear alright. His first guess had been correct, the man possessed a dust, but did he know it yet?

Hale watched the man by the fountain write for a moment, "Mmm? He sure is beautiful," Hale murmured softly as he watched the stranger begin to rummage through his bag and the suddenly freeze for but a mere second before vanishing completely, his bag falling tot he ground and a familiar bottle rolling from it. There was a flurry of activity around him, and Hale suddenly found his hands empty, the bottle having been snatched away by the man who was somehow behind him.

"Geh!" Hale let out a small noise of surprise at the sudden reappearance of the stranger as he flailed a little and suddenly fell from his seat on the bench and looked up at the man as he spoke. "D-dust? What is that? I hope it's not some kind of drug, I can't afford to be carrying around something like that," he said, totally confused by the words of the stranger. If that's what it was, he would turn it over to the police immediately.

"No.." said Sojo putting his face close to the others and retuning the bottle taking a seat next to him. Looking down at the bottle he held he listened closely tuning everything else out for just a split second. Moving his eyes to the bag he saw it vanish. Staring at where it was he wondered where it had gone, before feeling it appear by his feet.. With a bewildered look on his face he pulled out Hymn's bottle, a soft echo of a song emitted from it. The dust which Hymn had been made off still echoed softly in the bottle.

"Yours is the only other one I know with sound coming out of it.." he said looking down to the others lap smiling slightly as his eyes ended up in the wrong spot. Raising his head back up he figured he might as well explain. "Our world, is filled with many things, and the newest addition, Dust, comes from these bottles. The dust are simple another creature, like us, on this planet. For example, my dust, Hymn" he said cutting off there to pull out a picture of Hymn in the house and showing it to the other before setting it down.

Glancing to the other he smiled "My name is Sojo, but back on topic, they are merely creatures like us that emerge from these bottles in time..." The explanation couldn't be taken much further as there was no clue to how in the world the dust became into existence. Sojo nor Aevah had not a clue to how it happened, it just did.

Looking at the glass bottle again he listened to the noise before repeating the phrase "Time.." again.

Hale blushed a little as he found himself staring into the cloudy, infinite eyes of the strange man before he felt the bottle drop into his lap as it was returned. Hale was surprised when the bag that had been left behind reappeared at the man's side.

"T-there are others?" Hale asked, still sitting on the ground. He curled up slightly as the stranger's eyes moved over his lap, and he quickly removed the bottle from it as an excuse to get the man's eyes away from his crotch. Hale stood up and brushed himself off, taking a seat on the bench once again, "So, they're humanoid creatures?" He asked, as he looked over the photo of the one called Hymn, "Does that mean I'll be taking care of a baby eventually?!" The sudden realisation made Hale somewhat sick to his stomach. He was terrible with babies, and not so great with children; he supposed this was a good thing because it kept the women away from him, but now that he was going to end up having one of his own, he sorely wished he was friends with some so he could get advice.

'In time... in time?' he thought as the man spoke, and a look of scepticism came across his lazy gaze, "You don't really know the details for sure, do you," he stated, somewhat amused, and feeling a little more relaxed now that he knew a little more about the bottle and its contents.

"My name is Hale, I work as a Host at the Host Club here in town," he introduced, bowing his head slightly. "If this, Dust, is Time, then that would explain how I managed to gain an extra half a day yesterday when I first found it."

"Your time with this one, will probably be pretty messed up. For the same reason nothing has changed in the past thirty minutes. The wind continues to blow lightly, the water continues to fall the same, and no one is on the streets. The cause of your bottle." he explained looking again at the castle clock. It hadn't rang either, in the time they sat here.

Glancing down once more his head shot up slightly tinted by the red in it. Giggling at the others opinion of babies he smiled looking to the fountain before placing both his hands behind him and turning his head to the other, leaning back. "You will not be taking care of a baby, but a mere child who will learn from you.." he said smiling at the other his face only a foot or two away. Glancing up at the sky he thought carefully about how Hymn came to him, a teenager, spending his child years...with the devils.

"Time, is the dust which your child will be formed of, it is in essence how they are formed." Pulling out Hymn's bottle once more he slid it up to Hale's ear, he himself listening in closely. The sweet song echoed from inside of the bottle. "Hymn, is made from a Siren's Voice...or a beautiful melody.."

Hale sighed, "So, I'll be experiencing all kinds of strange time shifts and the like? Will this affect me if I leave the bottle at home? It would be very bad if something like this happened while I was at work," he said, starting to get more and more worried. He looked up at the clock too, only to see that it had frozen completely, "Um, isn't this a bad thing? Like cheating time or something?" he asked, feeling like he was somehow breaking the universal rules.

"No babies? I think I can handle that," he said, now feeling a little relieved. A baby would be a real hassle with his work schedule. He looked up ad Sojo and backed away a little, blushing at their closeness. This was an unusual encounter for Hale as he usually kept to himself outside of work.

He leaned in close and listened carefully, thankful that there was no noise for the city, "That's quite and exquisite sound," he murmured softly and turned to smile at Sojo.

Sojo smiled back to the other as he stored the bottle in the small sack. "The time effects shouldn't effect you in times like that. Mainly at night, helping you do things I would be guessing." he said "I guess your dust is trying to help you out, with doing what your heart desires.." Trailing off at the end he listened to the silent city as even the water made no noise as they both sat there together.

Looking at the ground he smiled wandering what would happen next. Time continued to stand still, though things moved. No other human was out, no one was moving. Time sat as still as the second hand stood right before midnight on the clock tower. The bells ceased to chime as they sat there. Time, a mysterious but special thing, as so often it effected how we acted in life.

"So... What do I do now? Is there some sort of special thing I have to do to care for this or can I just leave it to its own devices? Do I have to sign some sort of parent/guardian form?" Hale had a million questions, but it was not like him to talk so much; that was usually what the customers did, he only had to give the responses they wanted to hear from him.

'I hope no one is going to get mad at me for freezing time all of the time,' he thought to himself; he did not like the idea of anyone finding out he could do such things. If the religious fanatics found out, he would be burned at the stake for witchcraft. Hale sighed miserably at the thought, he would have to be far more careful from now on.

"So, why is there suddenly a new race roaming around the world? Don't these things usually take a millennia or tow to happen?" he asked.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 14, 2008 2:11 pm

"Leave it be, just keep the bottle with you, and one day you may wake up to find a child there too.." he said sitting back up. The moon shined as his spell on the fountain continued and looking around at the circle he smiled.

"No one else but those in your spell will realize it is happening..." he said moving to a more comfortable sitting position. Using his hands to hold him up he felt the wind continue blowing, the breeze was nice. Hearing the question about how the race came into existence he smiled "That would be due to another person like me, Aevah, who created the race" he said not wanting to explain more.

Sojo felt the breeze continued and as the wind view again he felt his arms weaken from being locked in place. As he went to move again it all went wrong. He felt his body start to move against his wished before he found his head on the others side and his eyes closed. Freezing he prepared for the worst, would the other freak out? He just touched him without asking, even if it wasn't anything big.

"Well, I can't really keep it with me all of the time," he said, remembering that his job was quite adult, and having a child pop into existence randomly would be very awkward to explain; not to mention a poor example for the youth.

"Well, at least people won't realise it then," he said, feeling a little better about the whole situation. At least he got to talk to a beautiful man; one so gorgeous did not appear very often, and Hale was more than happy to make a new friend that was local. "Aevah? Created? What are you, a god or some sort of geneticist?"

Hale froze as Sojo fell against him, as usual, he wasn't used to contact outside of the club situation, and felt awkward, "Umm... Sojo, are you feeling alright?" he asked timidly.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 14, 2008 2:31 pm

"I-I'm fine," Sojo said looking up from where he was before sitting back up his face down. Looking to the side at the title god he continued to not look at Hale before he finally said something "I am no longer one.." he said, though that was a lie a little, he was still a god but with X status, meaning he had no god-powers. Sighing slightly he turned his body forward away from the other and let his eyes follow the worn patterns in the stone.

"So, you're a god," he said flatly, not really disbelieving it; the man had shown some amazing powers after all. "Even if something should happen to your status or something," Hale spoke, assuming some situation had caused Sojo to lose his status, "You can never be anything different from what you are; like me, I will always be a human, no matter what I do. So, you will always be a god, even if the others say you aren't," he smiled at Sojo, reaching out and turning the man's face towards his by taking hold of his chin, "Right?" he added with a small wink as he looked up at Sojo.
