all information is subject to change and editing Though most hollows are simply transformed human souls, a sub-group of hollows known as menos exist. Menos are conglomerations of many normal hollows (from hundreds to thousands, depending on the type), resulting in a single composite entity of far greater strength than the hollows that spawned it. Menos-class hollows are considered so dangerous that Soul Society sends only highly trained Soul Reaper teams to handle them. These incursions seem to be rare, however, as menos rarely leave Hueco Mundo unless attracted by large sources of spiritual power or encouraged to by other forces.
Menos are created when the void within an ordinary hollow's heart becomes so substantial that human souls are incapable of sustaining it, at which point it begins devouring fellow hollows. These cannibal hollows are attracted to one another, and a mass inter-devouring follows, resulting in a gillian. Following this transformation, the gillian can evolve twice more, first into an adjuchas and finally into a vasto lorde, provided certain conditions are met. Menos evolution is not only contingent upon the menos eating other hollows, but also upon the menos' ability to avoid being eaten. If another hollow succeeds in devouring a part of their body, evolution becomes impossible.
Gillian (Japanese for "least of the great hollows") are the weakest class of menos and the first stage of menos evolution. They are giant in comparison to other hollows, dwarfing even the largest standard hollows by at least the size of a two-story building, but lack agility and intelligence. While a gillian-class menos is quite powerful, they are still much weaker than a Soul Reaper lieutenant. According to Tōshirō Hitsugaya, they are comparable to "foot-soldiers", reflected in their uniform appearance. In Soul Society, gillians are known as Menos Grande and are shown in textbooks discussing menos. Menos Grande literally means "big minus" in Spanish ("less big" is also a possible translation) or "less". Similarly, the kanji for menos grande means 'big emptiness'.
Though gillians usually have no personality to speak of, one of the many hollows that comprise it may retain control over the new entity, reflected in the unique mask it wears in comparison to a normal gillian. Only these gillian variants have the potential to evolve into adjuchas-class menos. The evolution is facilitated by the continued cannibalization of fellow hollows, even other gillians, resulting in a unique but still massive form before they completely become adjuchas.
Adjuchas (Japanese for "intermediate great hollow") are the medium class of menos in terms of power, and the second stage in the menos evolution. Adjuchas can vary radically in appearance, from bulky humanoids to the panther-like form of Grimmjow Jeagerjaques. Unlike the gillians, they are roughly human-sized. They are also much smarter than the gillians and have the power to match. It is likely they could fight evenly with at least a Soul Reaper lieutenant. They watch over the many gillian-class menos. In the anime, the adjuchas put in charge by Aizen can control the gillians, though it's unclear if this is an innate ability or something granted by their status.
Adjuchas-class menos are much smaller in population compared to the gillian class, due to the rarity of any one hollow being capable of overwhelming the many other hollows that comprise the body of a gillian. Furthermore, the adjuchas must continue to devour hollows, or its mind will be absorbed by the hollows comprising its form and it will revert back into a gillian. The subsequent lack of an individual will also preclude the reverted gillian from becoming an adjuchas again.
Vasto lorde (Japanese for "highest of the great hollows") are the most powerful class of menos, and the final stage in the menos evolutionary line. They appear almost completely humanoid, and each one is stronger than an average Soul Reaper captain; Tōshirō claims that ten of them under Sōsuke Aizen's control would be enough to defeat all of Soul Society. It seems that Aizen has important plans with them, but the details haven't been revealed.
Vasto lorde are the least common form of menos, but the exact population is unknown. They are believed to reside within the very depths of Hueco Mundo. Apart from the need to cannibalize even more hollows, any special requirements for the creation of a vasto lorde are unknown. MENOS
Your characters Initial Death and Re-Birth as a Hollow: (How your character died, the reason why they where not sent to soul society by a Shinigami, and the reason they remained on Earth.) To evolve to the next stage your new hollow must begin to consume other hollows to gain more power, after they have fed they will combine their spiritual forces with other hollows to form themselves into a Gillian. After you have completed this role-play continue to the next stage. [4 posts] or [6 or more posts for Vasto Lord]
GILLIAN
Gillian are a compilation of several different hollows within one body. Except that all the hollows are competing for dominance within the mind. For many this is the biggest struggle for all hollows, and will mainly be all mental struggles. These fights for dominance within the mind will be treated much like Ichigos battles with his inner hollow, except for the part where there are hundreds of hollows to fight off… Once your character takes complete dominance of the mind the hollow will automatically evolve into a Adjuchas where they will continue to consume fellow Adjuchas rank hollows. When you have successfully evolved your character to Adjuchas and have received permission from me you may continue to RP to Vasto Lord. [5 posts] or [6 posts for Vasto Lord]
ADJUCHAS
To evolve into a Vasto Lord your character must continue to consume other Adjuchas’s and there must be an “epic” fight between your character an another extremely powerful Adjuchas (or group of them) and be victorious but completely consuming the other hollow. Once this fight is completed your character becomes completed as a Vasto Lord. [8 posts]
ARRANCAR
This RP is simple, you must have a personal RP with Aizen himself where he will force your mask removal and you will join the ranks. You may either choose a number between 21-99 (Numeros) or choose to become an already exsisting Arrancars lacky (Fraccion) by selecting a fraction number 1-99 as the top number and the bottom number being the number of your leaders number. (Example: 3/59) After your character has been reborn they will be asked their name, and will state their identity number along with their name.

MENOS Ishi Riki was the kind of woman that from a simple glance knew she was warm hearted and kind spirited. Sadly however, her warm personality faded through the years as her and her husband attempted to have children of their own. Medically, her reproductive organs had been terminally damaged after a terrible car accident. On one fateful day how ever, the two found another solution…
They had nervously entered the adoption agency that fateful day, they day they would meet her new daughter. It was nothing less than a typical love at first sight story. Ishi quickly fell in love with the young girl and in weeks, had taken her home and finally gave her a place of safety, and love both always dreamed of. As the two bonded a day came, when the young girl accidentally called Ishi mamma. With more time, Ishi was mamma, and Ishi’s husband was daddy.
On one sad day how ever, Ishi’s husband left… for another woman, one without a child. He had grown jealous of Ishi’s new love and passion and out of this evil left her high and dry. With only her little baby she continued living, the only thing making her happy now was her only child, the one she was supposed to share with a loving husband. Ishi’s daughter was all that she had left in a cruel and lonely world but even then Ishi’s world would be taken away.
Horridly the two had ran to the air port, excited and overwhelmed by their coming adventure on a tour to Disney World Ishi’s little baby was stolen away. In the large mass of people, an evil and twisted individual had stolen her little baby away. To simply never see her again… Though she tried with fliers, adds, and news bulletins her little baby was taken away for the rest of her days.
Ishi had eventually found herself in an endless depression and began to contemplate the other side of life. Though she was brought up in a good Christian home, there was only so much her own mother and father could do… As Ishi stayed with her parents she eventually sold her apartment in the city and made a simple life in the country being a waitress at a little café.
Eventually the day came when Ishi would be released of her mortal flesh…
Because she never accepted her daughters death, she continued existing, haunting her old apartment, awaiting her daughters return. As the years went on the chain of fate began to erode until the day the chain completely disappeared into the hole within her chest. 1 / 20

Ishi’s soft voice twisted to screams of anger and sorrow as her body became empty. Laying on the ground her new body, the hollow’s eyes began to drip a grin liquid as it stood in place. It’s new body; a simple bark/wood beetle stood nearly six feet tall on all fours. Being large like many other hollow Ishi no longer felt any ties between her and the apartment complex. Her daughter… Would never come home, and instead of waiting for her, Ishi would find her. Moving forward the sound of heavy metallic footsteps echoed out from beneath her. As her clawed feet scrapped across the ground she heard a scream from just around the corner. It was a scream of a young child. Charging, and in half panic the woman skid around the corner to see an ape shaped gorilla with a hornets shaped mask. It screamed as it seen Ishi, and charged her. It was a mindless hunter and seen Ishi as a thread. Without realizing it Ishi’s hump back shell cracked open and large wings spread out and took her several meters in the air. Looking down at the creature it screamed again as it jumped for her. Successfully it grabbed her leg and pulled her back down, as she fell towards it’s open jaws, her own scissor jaws opened.
Falling the creature caught her leg within it’s jaws, attempting to crush her leg between it’s jaws. As it attempted to consume her, her own outer exoskeleton was more than hard enough to handle the hollows jaws. Allowing her to sink her razor sharp fangs into the creatures back. As she chewed through the creatures flesh, her new animalistic traits kicked in and within minutes the creature was half eaten and completely ripped apart. The child had ran off as she did this though and she spent several days searching for the source. Within a week she had given up the chase and continued searching for her own child. 2 / 20

Through days and nights, she continued walking as she did so she continued saving various souls that had not yet been taken up by Shinigami; one fateful day would make her an enemy to those that protected these souls.
Rounding a corner there stood a single Shinigami. Curiously she stepped forward to investigate the strange creature, as she did this the small man turned around and faced the hollow. His eyes shot open but quickly his stare of shock twisted to a glare of murder. Charging her she again took to the air, looking down to the creature with a frustrated gaze she attempted to speak but could only squeal like many insects do. The Shinigami was persistent and obviously had something to prove as he jumped into the air and seemingly glided towards her.
As he neared she began to hover back wards away from the man, squealing again she attempted to move back even faster as the man did the same. Within a minute he was close enough to touch and within a single moment disappeared from view. She felt him behind her, Ishi didn’t know how she knew he was behind her but as she spun her powerful and sharp jaws opened wide for a defensive attack. The Shinigami lifted his sword to block and caught the blade within her jaws. Snapping it in half she let the metal drop to the ground as she stared at the weaponless Shinigami. He growled and attacked her again throwing a futile punch at her head. Flinching at the motion she simply opened her jaws again and closed down as hard as she could over the mans torso.
As blood exploded from his limp form the two halves fell to the ground and splattered across the pavement … Her body tingled as the Shinigami’s blood absorbed into her flesh. Her thoughts began to spin faster and faster until eventually she was filled with a blind rage and dropped to the ground where the shinigami’s body landed and ate both halves quickly. Looking about with a deep groan she began sprinting as fast as she could. This new hunger overwhelmed her entire mind and body, giving her the urge to kill anything with a powerful enough spirit. 3 / 20

Within minutes her charged spirit began to attract other hollows. Before she knew it she was in the middle of a heated brawl consisting of fifty hollows. Snapping her wings, legs and jaws she continued to cut through the flesh of the hollows that where all fighting for the same reason she was to simply consume and gain power for no reason more than to simply feed the constant hunger for more power…
Ultimately the battle continued for several hours before it dwindled down to simply her and four others. The three where fighting as she laid limp on the ground. Painting the three fought amongst each other unaware that she was simply resting and acting to be defeated. Ishi was nestled perfectly into a mass of dead hollow bodies and within ten minutes she had completely regained her strength. The three others where all obviously tired as they sluggishly attacked each other and their chests heaved. All where large as she was and all took on ape like bodies with various masks. Standing she charged one of the three hollows, it’s back was too her and within a second it’s upper half was sprawling towards a wall and limply it connected with a wall and fell to the concrete ground. The three other hollows turned to face her only to have their heads cleaved from their shoulders with a wide swiping motion with her large fangs. The bodies dropped and already she was busy eating the corpses.
Over a half an hour span she finished eating most of the bodies and was ready to find more to kill… 4 / 20

The sky seemed to tear apart as the sound of a deep groan. Looking up she seen a large pair of hands ripping open a seemingly fabricated painting. As it ripped a pair of eyes beamed through, the eyes of a Gillian. Squealing again she took flight once more in her life and flew towards the creature. He roared as it spotted another hollow, sadly it was weak and wasn’t enough for it to feed so it simply swatted at it with it’s large white claws cloves. Evading by rolling to the left she quickened her pace and flew into an open gap wherever this hollow came from. As she flew through the blackness she seen the end of the tunnel and rushed towards it with all of her strength.
Ishi could feel the powers beyond the end of the tunnel just waiting to be consumed and as she charged her mind fluttered back to her daughter, which caused her to squeal in anger…
As she charged through the hole she found herself in the middle of a vast forest, there where hollows in a large mass, all grouped together eating one another and none being focused on any individual. As she looked Ishi seen a hollow eating another while it self was being eating by another hollow. Though it made no sense she dropped her wings and dropped into the massive battle of mindless consumers… 5 / 20

As she consumed other hollows and as other could only scratch her hard exoskeleton. Then there was a loud rumble and she felt her body spin and her head did flips. Within moments she found herself staring at the ground from several stories above the forest. But it felt as though her own body was not her own. Within moments Ishi sank far away from the vision of the forest and stood in the middle of a large room, filled with hollows. Looking to her human hands again she could feel hundreds of eyes looking at her. Then there was a blast and the mob began to begin fighting again but this time she knew it was within her own mind as it could be described only as having double vision. She could see the ground and her head could be lifted to see other Gillian walking towards her, in seconds she herself moved towards them and began ripping into their throats and again she reverted back to the room where she simply sat with her legs sprawled out in front of her. Looking up the mob was growing angrier and angrier until there was blood. Looking down she seen a thick layer of blood splash past her body across the hard white reflective floor. 6 / 20

GILLIAN: Within a moment she was kicked in the face, and then trampled by countless feet causing others to trip and fall over. With a cry of pain and frustration she pushed herself to her feet and allowed herself to flow with the mass of bodies. She could feel her bare feet against the floor as she realized that the people in this room where completely naked except… there bodies held no detail, they had no faces, and no sexual body parts. It was as if every person was wrapped in a layer of plastic and his or her body parts where hidden beneath. Looking down she seen that she was the only individual that was not covered. Involuntarily she covered her body parts as she was pushed, kicked and punched around.
Eventually she was pushed towards a wall and there she stopped where more and more bodies pressed against her. As tears fell from her face she began to envision her little girl. Anger began to build in her chest, and the depression that once clouded her entire life faded completely. She was dead… her daughter had died long ago. Ishi had a new purpose to exist. She would find her daughter in the past life… Looking up her spiritual pressure spiked and the mass completely stopped to face her. They then knew that she was the hive mind, the one responsible for their capture and they would be her captives if she was to gain complete control. Instantly they all attacked her. 7 / 20

As her body was consumed in the heat of their rage she could feel her bone break and muscles tear until she was just a limp mass that laid helplessly on the ground, and she felt herself slip from the vision of the outside world and completely and helplessly into this room with the creatures that wanted her dead. Stepping back the mass simply looked at her limp body. As she struggled to breath and keep her life her own she again let her mind slip back to her daughter, the reason why she didn’t pass to heaven; or at least that was what she presumed. These monsters just wanted… to live for some reason one just or one evil, either way they wanted to be in control just as badly as she did. How ever, she knew none of them where strong enough, that was why initially she had taken complete control of the mind and body of this new Gillian body. 8 / 20

She grunted as she pushed herself to her feet and the mass quickly overwhelmed her pushed her back down, kicking and punching her again, and in a matter of seconds she felt herself pushed through the floor. Landing at the bottom of a black pit she looked up at the creatures that looked down at her. They seemingly chuckled satisfied that she could not get out of this pit, turning away the light faded and she laid her head down and closed her eyes. Perhaps it was luck that got her this far… perhaps she wasn’t supposed to find her daughter. She uttered tears to her eyes and laid limp. Her tears felt as though they fell for hours. Ishi couldn’t bring herself to humanity and couldn’t begin to think of a reason to stop crying or to bring herself to stand... the pain was physical and mental, it was overwhelming... 9 / 20

Closing her eyes, she fell unconscious. For years she remained trapped in a Gillian body until one day she felt the spiritual pressure of her little girl. The same feeling she got when she heard her little princess’s voice after a long day at work. The sweet sound of her voice, ”Mommy!” and small arms would wrap around her every time those little hugs threatened to bring tears to her eyes. Something so small held such a big part in her life. Those stories she heard of other mothers and their daughter arguing all the time, and wanting time away from their little girls made no sense to her. She could have spent the rest of her days and time devoting all of her attention to her little girl.
Opening her eyes she looked up as the hole above her began to glow, and in a matter of seconds the hole widened completely and she could see the creatures looking down at her. Standing wither finally healed body she looked up with emotionless eyes. The hole began to fill beneath her and as inches of black sand filled the hole she simply stepped up out of it, the creature back away around her as eventually she stepped out of the hole. Walking forward towards a single metal door that had a glowing red sign above it that glowed exit. The creature screamed and charged her, again punching and kicking her. How ever, each punch knocked the creatures away, each kick broke bones in the legs of those creatures. Stopping just at the door she turned towards the creatures. Her nude body reflected the red light and her eyes also glowed blood red as her body began to flex.
She was preparing to break free of this prison. 10 / 20

The veins beneath her skin began to darken until they where black and then her entire body had bleed out to black. Her entire body began to shift shape until it was covered with claws, fangs, and blades that hung from her joints. Each humming with energy as she readied to murder these mindless and jealous creatures. Charging forward she attacked the creatures swiping the blades at the bare bodies. Eventually the blood soaked the ground yet again, as she cut her black monstrous form began to consume the fallen bodies that wreathed and moaned in agony. Within moments the room was empty except for random piles of flesh and bone, and pools of blood. Her black body dripped with red blood and again her body began to shift back to her humanoid form.
Looking down to her hands she seen her blood soaked hands, and for some reason it’s dark red and dull metallic smell didn’t send her over the edge. Looking down to the blood with expressionless eyes she felt her vision cloud as tears began to fall yet again, Turning away she faced the exit, reaching for the door and pushed it open with a single shove and she fell out into her Gillian body. It aimlessly walked from one forest to another, but now… it stopped it only had one mind. Ishi stood and growled, she would find her daughter now… 11 / 20

ADJUCHAS: For days she continued to walk aimlessly searching for any thing, before her mindless body had walked far away from the other hollows, it had began to climb the trees and was now on a layer of branches that could be easily walked on. Resting against a tree she felt her body quiver and shake. At first she thought that she was going to implode but with a single moment she felt her head spin and fell unconscious on her back. Waking several hours later she laid limp on an extremely large branch. Looking up she seen a the roof of the forest. It was nothing more than shifting sand…
Standing up her new body quivered with energy and already she felt her mind slipping as it did before when she was a Gillian. Pushing herself to her feet she stood on all fours but with another moment realized that she could stand on two legs. Lifting up her head she seen the shifting ceiling. With a single grunt she pushed her powerful legs towards the sand and in moments found herself being pulled through it and eventually she found herself on the top of a vast desert. Growling as she stood on two legs she proceeded to roar then dropping to all fours. Charging forward she bolted with extreme speed. Her long serpentine body flowed with the air as it pushed against her scales and the plates that covered her back and spine.
As she ran she began to discover her body was extremely large, bigger than it was when she was a Gillian. Ishi paused and looked to a small-crystallized tree on the ground. It was small, turning away she seen a large group of Adjuchas. All where looking at her with expecting eyes… All knew that they needed to consume her or be consumed by her… 12 / 20

Though the creatures all scattered her massive form carried her extremely fast, as she blurred forward she caught the smallest one first. It screamed as she quickly lowered her head over it and scooped it up with her tentacle like jaws. Wrapping it and crushing it, then swallowing it. Keeping her pace she turned and seen the biggest one facing her, it roared and charged her. It looked like a blue lion with a large bull skull for a mask. As it charged her she felt even more rage and roar as loud as she could and spiked her spiritual pressure bringing the lion to the ground instantly right after it had jumped for her throat. As it struggled to stand she lowered her head over it and quickly wrapped it up in her tentacles and ripped it in half in her mouth before swallowing both halves whole.
Quickly she turned to look for the other but they had escaped. Turning away she had seen a castle far off in the distance. Walking towards it she figured there would be more hollows hiding within that she could consume and would fill her hunger once and for all.
For two days she traveled without any change in power or hunger. As she slept she dreamed of her daughter and as she walked she imagined what it’d be like to one day see her again. Would her little girl recognize her with this new body? Would she be able to control her animalistic features and resist the urge to kill and consume? As she pondered these questions she was hit hard in the side. As she tumbled she turned to see another large creature. Equally as large as she but it quickly coiled itself up and revealed that it’s body was a snake. As it roar at her defiantly it’s human like face snapped its jaws. 13 / 20

The other creature roared angrily and charged forward sending sand in either direction of its body. She had just enough time to stand before the creature wrapped its body around her and began squeezing her. Grunting in pain she looked the creature in the eyes, it hissed mockingly as it foamed at the mouth. As she struggled to free herself the creature gagged and paused long enough for Ishi to free her arm from the creatures grasp, grabbing onto the face of the creature, as she did this it spewed an acid like liquid into her eyes. She howled and reached for her eyes, clawing at them violently to get the acid out of her eyes. Opening her eyes she could see nothing. The acid had completely consumed the eyes beneath her mask the creature then latched it’s jaws onto her shoulder and began to bite down. 14 / 20
