Great band from the Maryland scene, which has produced a good amount of quality doom bands over the years. Revelation are mostly more of a slow, heavy, mournful style Trad. Doom. They've released four albums to date one of which just came out this year. The new one (Release) is more in the vein of the early Against Nature records, but still really good. The first album (Salvation's Answer) has a very strong 80's metal, feel to it, Images of Darkness even starts of with a thrash riff. The next one (Never Comes Silence) is more straight-forward doom, and I like it a bit more.
