We start off with Amanita running for his life from an adorable coon, Akai. The coon wanting him to go and buy him a fluffy rug; from a previous rp with Moogs and Fanta. Though he isn't literally running for his life, he just gets out of the cozy cottage of his.
As he walks along he runs into Carlos, who asks if he wants to look for a car with him. xD

A shriek could be heard throughout the house, echoing off the walls of the small cottage. "AMANITAAA!! Where are you!?" The little coon searched in vein, throughout the house for the demon, Amanita.

The coon's shrieks could be heard even outside. The demon scoffed and walked into the forest just outside the, what seemed like, a tiny cottage. He gave a wave to the cottage behind him, as a good-bye to the coon even though he wouldn't see it. "Annoying twerp..." He mumbled to himself as the wind slowly played with the leaves of surrounding trees. Just as the moment seemed quiet and peaceful, he heard the front door of the cottage slam open. His head slowly turned to see behind himself, and he saw the red and black coon, glaring at him. A fierce look he's never seen before, quite frightening. He just rolled his eyes and turned his head, his legs still taking him out of the forest.

"YOU JERK--!!"

The voice trailed off as he kept walking, eventually finding himself out of the forest and into the main part of town.

Carlos strolled down the sidewalk with a little skip to his gait. His headphones were blaring and his hands were in his pockets. His usual grease-smeared utility pants contrasted sharply against pink barrettes, styled hair, sparing but colorful make-up, and natural markings that his father said made him look like a My Little Pony. Carlos did not really care about all that, but Amanita might, seeing for the first time a variation of the brand of cuteness he had fled just a short time before.

What the unicat saw was an apparition, literally what appeared to be a bleached-out punker. Perhaps he was a ghost from the 80s come to haunt this very street? Too bad Shelby wasn't here, or he could say one way or another; he saw ghosts all the time.

Several things were wrong with that assumption however. The demon had a shadow. He reacted to his surroundings, including some kind of smirk that he recognized from his father's ilk. And, when the unicat removed his headphones, he could hear certain sounds emitting from the spectre: the scuffling of feet on concrete, the tinny sound of body jewelry bouncing off of skin and pieces of itself, the swishing of fabric, and even the slap of hair as it hit the demon's cheek.

Carlos saw the demon and wore an expression of vague awe and strange familiarity. He reminded him of someone... but he simply could not place whom. He actually stopped and watched as the demon approached, watching in wide-eyed and innocent amusement. Then he remembered the taboo about staring at strangers and had the presence of mind to grimace sheepishly. Especially when he reminded himself that this was just some random and regular guy.

"Um... hello," he attempted to remedy his blunder, though he really expected to be scoffed at or ignored.

The white demon took in a breath, smelling the air around him. It had been a while since he was able to visit this town. Though he did prefer the fresh sent of the woods near his cottage, but it was still nice to experience other smells and areas.

He looked to the side as he wandered along the sidewalk, watching the arrogance of people staring his way, Like they’ve never seen a demon anthro before… He snorted sarcastically in their direction, not meant for those people to hear, as he kept striding down the street. Before long, he noticed that he knew nothing of his surroundings and was therefore lost. He took in a deep breath as he stopped in his tracks, and then let it out in a long sigh through his tightened lips. “Damn…” He spat, glaring in front of him. But he really didn’t care; eventually he would find his way back to the cottage, just not anytime soon.

He reached to the sky above, stretching the muscles in his arms and resting them behind his head after running his fingers through his light green and blue hair. He looked off to the sky in the distance before he noticed the chain connecting his nose piercing and earring gently tapped his cheek to a nearby beat, though slightly off. From the only tune he had before of his jewelry bouncing off his cheek and the shuffling of his pant legs together, the combination, he found, was an interesting one. He tilted his head ever so slightly one wouldn’t notice unless they were watching him closely. His eyes fell from the sky into yellow pupils that belonged to a unicat before him. That was the beat he was hearing, from the headphones around his neck. His eyebrow rose as he noticed the one before him was staring. Not like this guy is any more bizarre than I…

As the unicat spoke finally, the white demon slowly brought his arms to his sides, putting his hands lazily in his pockets; though his eyebrow still remained high above his eye. To be honest this was the first hybrid he’s seen, so without noticing he looked this one over, while in return, the unicat looked at him. It was definitely an awkward situation if any one of them noticed.

A cat with a horn; blue and black hair, and… Utility pants. It seemed uncharacteristic to his colors. But who judges one by their appearance? Only those repulsive humans do. He blinked quickly as the other broke their silence. “Hey…” The demon finally spoke after another short pause, slightly nodding his head. “Didn’t think I’d run into another Anthro…” His hand nervously ran through his hair at his sad attempt at conversation. It wasn’t that he was nervous, he just didn’t have any smartass reply like he usually did.

(( That ending is kinda blah... but I really couldn't think of anything else. Just tell me if you want me to add anything more. I hope you can reply okie. ^^; Also I apologize for my rusty rping ability. I'll get better soon.. I hope. xD ))

(( It's really good, so don't worry about it. ^^ <3 ))

"Oh... well... sometimes they like to hide from the public eye," Carlos admitted, attempting to shake off his awkwardness. He watched as the demon ran fingers through his hair, eyes widening. One side was only just long enough to show off the hair color. "Is your hair shaved? I would never have the courage to do that! And it looks good!" The unicat was not just saying that... This guy was just so interesting! And... Carlos seemed to have a thing for interesting hair, which he had not actively noticed until now...

Without realizing it, he had taken several steps closer, tufted tail waving about with mild excitement. Then he realized it and stopped, chuckling, suddenly embarrassed again. No acting like a cat in public, was almost what his inhibitions were telling him, forwardness puts people ill at-ease. "So!" He raised his index finger. "Um... so when I saw you, I thought you were a ghost..." never one to omit anything, Carlos proceeded to display everything on his proverbial sleeve, "but then I realized that you just seemed familiar to me. It's strange..."

(( Just so you know, he's not losing his mind and it's not a pick-up line. He's thinking of Nightshade and really just doesn't know it. xD; ))

The demon finally brought his eyebrow to normal height above his eye as he watched the unicat before him. He seemed so excited about Amanita’s hair, and the demon wasn’t sure how to handle it. Usually he received no compliments… how was he to respond? Even though he never cared what others thought about his looks, but they would always keep their distance, so he never had to deal with it. “Um…” He began slowly. “Why, no actually….” He began with a grin on his face, “My owner Kuro, took a pizza cutter to it when she was angry… and ended up shaving half of my hair off.” He laughed softly as he patted the side of his head, “I’m growing it back.” He then slightly stuck his tongue out.

“…A ghost?” He repeated slowly with a hint of amusement in his voice. Of course with people never complimenting on anything about him; they never thought of him as a ghost. His eyebrow rose again, “Now that’s new… We’ve never met, but…” He thought for a moment, resting his chin on his index finger and thumb. “Maybe you know one of my siblings… I haven’t seen them in a while…” His voice was amazingly soft, thinking aloud. The demon looked back to the unicat, taking his hand away from his chin. “Do you know either Nightshade or Foxglove?”

(( I figured so. xD But really... Amanita, I'm sure, would be oblivious if it was a pick-up line. -gigglesnorts- ))

At first... admittedly, Carlos believed him. A pizza c--!? Oh. Ha ha. That was just who he was. He took everything at face value when explained to him. "Oh, riiight..." He reached up to touch the foamy-green stubble and pulled his fingers away sharply as if stung by something. "Oh wow... I think you have mini pizzas growing in there! Your friend must not have cleaned the cutter first..." He leaned closer and sniffed. "Pepperoni... sausage... Meat Lovers?" His tail swished; perhaps the joke went a little far, but he was having fun. He needed to have fun right now, so perhaps he was just acting on that mild desperation.

But he received a welcome distraction from that momentarily awkward train of thought. Foxglove? Nightshade? "Oh! Nightshade... light-purple skin, long green hair? Kind of a smart aleck?" Like this guy...? He frowned, looking Amanita over. "Markings JUST like yours? Er, only grey..." He grinned broadly. "I live with him. Different rooms," he amended. "I'm Carlos, by the way."

He blinked his eyes as the unicat, Carlos, touched his hair. But soon the corners of Amanita’s mouth curved up into a small grin. Rarely did anyone go along with his sarcasm, or got it without being disgusted. He was starting to like this 'My Little Pony boy'. "Yeah... about those tiny pizza's..." He rested his fists on his hips. "I wasn't sure if I should keep them or not. What do you think?" He couldn't help but smirk.

His face slightly lightened as the one before him knew who he was talking about. This guy did know Nightshade, which means he might be able to see him soon. Its been years and though the demon wouldn't like to admit it, he missed his two brothers. But his search didn't seem to end for Foxglove, that is. "Oh... yeah. We are triplets actually... well, Nightshade, Foxglove, and I..." He slowly ran his hand through his hair, looking to the ground.

He quickly rose his head as Carlos introduced himself. He nodded his head and held out his hand; he could be well-mannered...sometimes! "The names Amanita."

"Well, maybe..." Carlos said doubtfully. Squinting a little and studying the stubble for a moment more he said with a snicker, "Maybe, but you'd need more mushrooms, sliced."

The unicat tilted his head curiously, watching the demon's expression change so drastically. "You haven't seen him in a while, have you... Amanita? I could take you to see him, assuming he's there of course," he added with a grin. He could easily change his plans... he had been planning to go 'shopping' for parts, but that could wait until later.

Amanita nodded slowly, "You think? I'm sure we have some mushroom's in the cupboard somewhere." He took a look to the side, thinking for a moment before shrugging his shoulders.

He then, uncharacteristically, bit his lower lip slightly. The unicat caught him, bullseye. It has in fact been years, since they were little imps. "No.." He began, slightly embarrassed for some reason. Yet there were butterflies in his stomach, burning to see his brother after so long. He frowned in his mind, not to show any of that type of emotion. "I haven't seen him in years..."

His eyebrow rose slightly as the unicat offered to take Amanita to his brother. He fell silent thinking if he should or not. Not like his brother would be angry at him, there was no reason for such a feeling over the years. What if, though, Nightshade had no desire to see Amanita? He then frowned softly, looking to the side again with this thought. He then looked back at Carlos. "I could wait, if you were up to something else... What's a few more hours to a few years, right?" He shrugged his shoulders slightly and smirked, letting Carlos know it was no big deal either way.

"Maybe just a few?" Carlos chuckled. He definitely liked this guy; he was a lot like some of the guys his father liked to hang around. More than that, he seemed a lot like Nightshade in personality, maybe just a little less dangerous?

He could hope...

His eyes widened as the demon made such a confession. He had not seen his own brothers... almost since he was a kitten. He could relate, at least a little. These brothers probably had a far stronger bond even after years of separation than he would ever have with his own brothers.

"Years... that can be forever," the unicat said softly. "Days can seem that way too..."

He shrugged the feeling away and grinned at Amanita. "I was off to the junkyard to shop for parts. I finished my first car, an old Mustang... now I'm looking to see what else I can build."
PostPosted: Sat Dec 20, 2008 10:46 pm

"Okay," He began with a little chuckle, followed by a smirk. "But you'll have to help me position the mushrooms." He looked to the unicat with complete amusement in his eyes, the smirk still visible; though it seemed to grow little by little.

He then looked away from this stranger-friend. All those years had seemed like an eternity to the demon, but he couldn't say that. Amanita was much too stubborn, either that or he just didn't want to think he could miss anyone too much, even his brothers, it seemed weak. But he just simply shrugged his broad shoulders, ridding these thoughts from his mind. "Yeah..." He managed to squeeze from his lips, though that was it; wanting to get off this subject. At least he knew one of his brothers were living and, relatively, well.

His eyes blinked as the unicat spoke of his mustang. This... My Little Pony-boy is a mechanic? How ironic. But it would definitely explain those oil-spattered pants of his. As that saying goes, 'don't judge a book by its cover' definitely, without questions, applies to this guy. A gentle smirk played at the corners of his lips as he thought. As the moments passed with this guy, he seemed more and more interesting to Amanita. "Another car?" He thought for a moment, gently rubbing his chin. "You know... I've always loved Monster Trucks..." He thought aloud.

"Well of course I'll have to help if you want to get the back of your head, unless you want to hold a mirror in one hand and a mushroom in the other." The unicat broke down into a fit of laughter. "Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? If someone were to walk by while you said, 'I'm going to need a little help arranging the mushrooms on my head,' what would they say?" It was several long moments before he had gathered breath enough to speak again without laughing.

It was easy enough to let the subject of Nightshade and Foxglove be. He knew of Foxglove as well; one of his housemates, one whom had raised him like a mother, was an old friend of his. He had always sounded like a nice person. But now Amanita knew where to find one of his brothers, if he wanted to.

"Monster trucks? Like... Big Foot?" Carlos blinked, taking a little time to process the other's words. It was not only that a monster truck was an astonishing suggestion, but that it was such an intriguing project to try to undertake. Weren't they complex and exhaustive to complete? Such a wide variety of skills would be involved. But a challenge was what he was looking for. "I think it's a great idea."

PostPosted: Sat Mar 21, 2009 9:06 pm

He looked at the unicat, snickering as he offered the idea of a mirror and mushroom in either hand. He then couldn't help but to laugh himself as Carlos laughed even harder, realizing how amusing this conversation sounded. Nodding his head was the only thing he was able to do, aside from laugh, as Carlos made this observation. After a while, he finally took a deep breath, "Probably they would just walk away shaking their heads after staring in horror at us." He kept chuckling every now and then.

Amanita felt a little lighter as Carlos allowed that subject matter to cease. He didn't like to admit such personal things, nor has he really thought about what he would do once he finally saw his brothers, or how to act. No matter, he had the time to mull this over.

The demon looked at the unicat, disbelieving. Though this face only shown this expression slightly, he still didn't think he would take on his suggestion. Amanita didn't know much about building cars, let alone Monster Trunks. He then, couldn't help but smirk. "You sure?" He couldn't complain though, he might be able to ride this Monster Trunk, if Carlos lets him.

(( *tries to think of reply.... fixated on wiggly squid-siggy* @_____@ <3 ))

"You're probably right," Carlos replied with a final set of snickering. His side hurt now!

He shrugged, still enamored with the idea of peeling down the street or a dirt road in a tall, brightly-painted monstrosity. "Why not? I think it would be lots of fun." His overlarge ears flicked as an idea struck him. "Say... wanna help me?" He nearly tackled Amanita as he grabbed hold of his sleeve and tugged at it lightly. "It wouldn't be just my car -- truck, then would it? I don't really need another vehicle, I just like to build them."

A stray thought struck him and he wondered if Adrian needed a car anytime soon, or if he'd want one. What a great present to boast about, 'My boyfriend made this car for me.' But that was something for another time; hopefully he would remember later.
