The day had gone by so far uneventful. Training was ever on the youths mind, but without an inspiration to get his paws up and moving the pure white feline instead lazed atop a low branch of a rather crude, mangled old oak. It twisted more horizontally than heading vertically for the sky, but this proved to be an entertaining resting spot for the young cat. The only disappointment was that he lost camouflage against the considerably contrasting bark that only matched the unique paintings of his face and paws, but otherwise left him stark white.
A yawn followed his thoughts, allowing his pink tongue to be seen before disappearing again into his mouth. Those jade eyes flicked over the ground below, watching for various things. Mice, insects...anything he could pounce on from above as some sort of entertainment in his sufferable boredom. He never would have guessed a few lively forms would be coming his way.
Swaying slightly, the cat shifted his hind legs, pulling them up while his front pulled out in front of him, stretching his body while his tail flicked comfortably. Harbingerpaw heard his back pop once, satisfying him to settle back down and continue his vigilant stare.

Shimmerpaw sighed as she slunk through the moor lands. Life was so dull, where was another cat when she needed one? And where's my mentor... haven't seen him in ages~! Man, how am I suppose to learn responsibility and discipline as a warrior if no cat is gonna teach me it? She huffed, I'll probably just end up being an apprentice forever... Shimmerpaw then pouted, but after a moment she looked around, for any prey, while she was out here she might as well make herself useful and do some hunting. She blinked as something caught her eye, from a distant she could a see the white back of a cat resting in a tree, hmmmm... must be Harbingerpaw~! Sniffing the wind as it came her way she nodded. Smiling ever so slyly she made her way towards the gnarled tree, knowing her scent was already masked thanks to the wind. Silent as ever she inched her way up, before pouncing on her brother's back. "Hey, Harbringerpaw~!!!" She said, trying to use the most loud, obnoxious, and annoying voice she had in her. Quickly she prepared herself to roll out of the tree and be pinned, or something along those lines. Probably didn't surprise him too much though... She thought ruefully, knowing her brother didn't have much of a reaction to things and always seemed to be ready for everything and anything.

She had been successful in annoying the cat, had that been her goal, and with her swift movement upon him, the apprentice countered her pounce with the very thing she anticipated. He had already been rigid with his previous vigilant watching, and now had his sister pinned to the bark in defense. He had been aware of someone's presence, but he didn't know who until the moment his jade eyes lay on his white and violet sibling.
"Forgive me," he murmured, taking his paws away from her, "But don't attack so suddenly. Had you been a stranger, I would have already had my claws to your throat." It wasn't a threat, but his way of warning her about his capabilities and the fact that there was always the chance he could slip up and attack the wrong person.
((Sorry this took so long. I was waiting for other siblings to join in, but it doesn't look like any will just yet))

Shimmerpaw smirked, "I'm your sister, as prepared as you, so don't underestimate me." getting up she flicked the tip of her tail to and fro at a rabid and steady pace. "So why so lazy all of a sudden? You're always yapping about being the best." She narrowed her eyes at him teasingly. The best... No cat in the entire forest will ever achieve that anytime soon. They were all vulnerable, they all had weaknesses, they all had faults. It was kind of disappointing, she really did want the "perfect" playmate so she could bring out all their nonperfections for the ebil fun of it. But that's why he's not trying to be the best, he's trying to be at the top. She nodded, finished with her analyzing of his ambitions. ...I really must be bored.
