While we are debating here and the tension may get a little high, we do need rules to keep everything from getting out of control

Muse and myself will be enforcing them along with the rest of the crew.

1. Muse is god here and the crew are her minions.
If she or any of the crew feel that the debate is getting out of hand, we will warn the posters. After a few warnings we may warn individually in pm's. After that we will lock the thread.

2. Respect others:
Opinions are different, just because they may not be the same as yours do not instantly put them down and bash on them. In a debate you do not pull the other side down, yet instead you pull your own up, stating the difference and making a statement of why you think this and provide say either evidence or other statements to back your original statement up.

3. Back your statement up.
Dont just post say: "PC's are better than Macs" (not my actual opinion) and just that. Why are they better than macs? What is their differences? We need to know why you think they are better, we don't honestly know what you're reason behind the original statement is if you don't provide back up statements

4. VS threads.
Such as like above Mac VS PC or Photoshop VS Paint Shop Pro, will need to be ok'd first by pming on of the crew members. I'd rather see like Mac Or PC, what's your choice and why? VS just seems to drag on for a while, it's a battle more than a debate.

5. Discussions
If you want to discuss issues be linient. Like I said before people have THEIR own opinion on things. Don't take statements as a personal attack on yourself here. Sample topic for discussion : Current election of '08. personal issues, dating advice, relationship advice, stuff like that.

6. Try to have fun.
Even though it may feel like people are against opinions we want you to have fun. If you feel that someone is bashing you or braking any of these rules and not letting you have the fun that you want, pm one of the crew members.

I find these rules a bit contrary since it is the crew who get into these heated discussions so with the implementation of these new rules it makes winning my arguments a lot easier sweatdrop .
