Okay, so I'm rolling up a new character to play with OMGaia, and he/she will probably be a shaman. On general consensus, what are the reccomended combonations? Keep in mind that I'm using the charachter to play the game and not to harvest the gold of lazy Auction-Housers.

Thanks!

While leveling, I'd suggest 2 gathering professions.

Endgame resto; alch/jewelcrafting.
Endgame enhance; engineering/leatherworking.
Endgame elemental; engineering/leatherworking.

If I was a shaman I'd do smithing just so I can get 2 dragon strikes or what ever its called, I imagin they would be a lot of fun to hit people with

I would have done it on my rogue but her mace skills is and forever will be 1

Engineering engineering engineering engineering engineering.

The goggles you can make at 375 are amazing, and you won't find a better headpiece until you hit Hyjal, except for Resto spec.
Would also take mining to keep your engineering going.

Resto I would go JCing/Alchemy at endgame. Alchemy gets you a lot of expensive healing power pots for cheap mats, and JCing gets you a lot of BoP healing gems and one of the trinkets you can make is excellent...I forget the name.

DONT TAKE THIS s**t WHILE LEVELING.
Leveling you should have gathering professions, I highly suggest mining and leatherworking, as herbs won't make you much money until Outland.
Unless of course your server is retarded and Briarthorn sells for 40g a stack.
Better yet, check the AH before you pick up your gathering professions to see which will make you the most money.
