Seating Contest!
Alright, jovenes, even though we have next to no members, you all deserve seats to boast about, right? So here we are:
This is a submission contest. I ask that you post a detailed profile of the shinigami you plan to portray. Post the entry within this thread, please. I'd also ask that you don't post anything else in here. PM me with questions. No question is too stupid (<--but don't let that get to your head...)
The bare minimum I require from you is your character's Name, Personality, Appearance, Zanpaku-to, Shikai, (get over yourselves, no one has bankai), and History. If you don't provide at least this, you can kiss your chances for a seat goodbye.
ALSO: I want an rp sample from the lot of you. It can be about anything, but it has to pertain to your character. Nothing is too long.
Literacy is amazing. Please use complete sentences where you can. Use correct grammar, capitalization, and punctuation.
You may edit your entry until the deadline which is next Saturday (July 19th). Results will follow in a couple of days (i'm lazy that way ^^)
So go wild! I reward creativity, but I frown upon godlike powers that no one should have. So be smart, be original. Impress me, and you get a seat. That's how it works. ^^
Again, all questions are to be sent in PM's instead of clogging this thread with arguments.

Personality:He hides his moods to everyone ecxept his friends and the people he fights.He is considered a loner by some but has many friends.
Appearance:He has short blonde hair is well built is roughly 5'7 he has a cross tattoo on his chest ,a dragon tattoo on his left arm ,and a ring of symbols on th right arm he has blue eyes .He is 20 years old but looks 15.
Zanpak-tu:Name Hitotsuboshi means evening star
normal form: a standerd blade with a black hilt and sheath.
Shikia:Not Yet Approved
History:IN the himan world he lived a life of solitude.At a young age he was abused by his parents and siblings.His only refuge was the streets it was there he learnd to fight.At the age of 15 he was killed by his father.when he came to the soul society he decided to join the court guards to save souls.

Torsin is relaxing in a tree when he sees to people practicing with there shikia and he wonders.Will he ever find his zanpak-to name and will he aple to control it it. All he wonders about when he is alone is are these things they plague him constatly .He holds the blade up in the sunlight what is your name ,says Torsin but yet agian no answer he swears and falls back to sleep dreaming of what his skikia will be.

Name- Zongan Himura.
Personality-(normal)- Layed Back, Kind, Gentle. (battle/training)- Serious, unyielding.
Appearance-6 Foot. Pale skin, black, spicked hair. 150 lb.
Zanpaku-to-(Name)- Eclipse of death. (Look)- Black hilt with an engraving of a cherry blossom tree. A katana.
Shikai- Only seen once. (Look)- A 5 Foot, Grayish-Black scythe. Seen during intensive training. (Power)- Not yet known.
After noticing the Shikai form of his Zanpaku-to Zongan sat and thought about what it would do. First he thought about his Zanpaku-to's name. "Eclipse of death?" After about ten minutes he decided that he should just wait and find out. He went back to training but the picture of it didn't leave his mind until the day was over.

History: Sleeping under the nice shade of a tree. As he is sleeping he think of becomeing stronger with his Zanpakuto "Zangooth"

I'll only say this once: You all need much more detail. Even though we have few members and none of you will drop beyond sixth seat (we just don't have that many members), you really should put effort into your work.
For good profiles, see a lot of the captain's profiles like Daven's or Yuki's or even mine. We give lots of detail.

Name: Angel Kotoshi Personality: Cold, cares for Kuro and himself only, loves battle, always trys to think ahead of the enemy. Appearance:  Tall and well built. He sometimes covers his face with the scarf he wares. Has a tattoo of a dragon on his left arm. Zanpacto: Name: Kuro Gekkou (Black Moonlight) Normal form: Standard katana. Has a silver chain linked to the hilt with a crescent moon at the end of the chain. Shikai form:ACHIEVED "Hide in the Darkness Kuro Gekkou" Sword changes shape into a double sided scythe. The scythe blades are blue with a crescent moon carved into the blades. Biography/History: Angel was a normal kid. He played sports and was always with his father when he had the chance. He adored his father because he was a master swordsman. His mother and older sister worked at a hospital near there house. he loved being with his friends and messing around with them. When his Older brother was killed in a car accident Angel became cold to everyone. He didnt hang out with his friends anymore and he never talked to his family. He just turned 18 when he was killed in a drive by. a bullet hit his heart and he was bleeding badly. He tried to make it to the hospital but he died before he reached it. RP sample: Angel was in the training area practicing his new Zanpaku-to form. He ran as fast as he can through the trees and sliced every trunk he could, making a deep gash in it. He has been doing this all day so he could handle Kuro better in battle. He ran back into the trees slicing at them again, but this time he twirled his Zanpaku-to around so it hit the trees a second time. After accomplishing that he sat down and started thinking of new combos and ways to use his Zanpaku-to.

Personality: Headstrong and arrogant, Kurai is often insolent and disrespectful, but this stems from a strong desire (almost a pathological need) to prove herself. She feels as though her disability makes people pity her (which if often does) and she thinks she needs to prove how strong, capable, and independent she is. To this extent, she can be prideful and stubborn. Don’t be fooled by her act, Kurai needs people to look after her. Being alone for twelve years drove her to the edge of insanity, imagine what it would do now.
Appearance: Kurai is short (5’3”) and built along slender lines. She looks exactly like a younger, softer Yoruichi, her older sister, although her hair is short and black and her eyes, while the same shade of yellow-gold, appear to be covered in frost. She is blind. Kurai always wears Yoruichi’s black-ribbon necklace. Reportedly, Kurai moves just like Yoruichi. She often displays a sort of savage grace, almost like an animal.
Zanpaku-to: Kurai is just beginning to understand her zanpaku-to. It acts as a weapon and as a seal for the darker Kurai that developed during her seventeen-year imprisonment in the Maggot’s Nest.

--Release phrase: “Temper my shadow”
--Appearance: Master of Monster is a wakizashi with a rosy bronze guard and pommel. The binding on the handle is a dark crimson. There are five seals etched into the face of the blade. About a third of the way up the blade’s face is an etching of a rose petal. Working down towards the hilt, there is then a miniature gold Shihouin crest, and silver crest, an etching of a poppy, and the etching of the plant called rosemary. These are her seals. When she learns to control her zanpaku-to, she will be able to release these at will, accessing different facets of her power.
Shikai: [in progress, so these are the rough details]
--Red Rose Vertigo- initially, think of Byakuya’s Senbon Zakura. Kurai uses thousands of rose petals to confuse her opponents and surprise them. She can use the petals as a smokescreen of sorts and can create shadows in which to hide. The petals can act as a shield or as a weapon.
Later, her refined form [roughly speaking] A line of rose petals settle down her spine and along the back of her arms and legs and down her hands and feet (think of the markings on Avatar: the Last Airbender but not arrows, a line of deep red rose petals.
This form controls her reiatsu and helps her move so quickly her movements are difficult to follow. [more to come]
History: Kurai had been born to Yoruichi's parents when Yoruichi herself was fifteen. Immediately, they noticed her apparent flaw: her blindness. A disgrace to the ruling line of the Shihouin clan. Shortly after her birth, they had ordered the baby drowned, all records of it erased from the books.
Drowning Kurai turned out not to be so easy. The details were hazy. Kurai, being but and infant, didn't remember anything, but whatever it was must have frightened everyone involved. The sole survivor returned mortally wounded, carrying the child. He died soon after he returned, cementing the parents' conviction that the child was dangerous.
They couldn't seem to kill her, but they could do the next best thing. Quietly, they deposited her in the Special Underground Supervision Center, often called the Maggot's nest. There, in a small cell, they left the dangerous girl, suppressing her reiatsu and erasing her existance from the records.
Kurai grew up in a cage, progressively growing more feral. She began to develop dangerous, unchecked power, just as her parents feared. When Kurai was about twelve, Yoruichi became the Tenshi Heisoban of the Shihouin clans. Somehow, she learned of Kurai's existance. Disgusted with her parents, Yoruichi found Kurai and basically tamed her, teaching her how to see without her eyes and many other things besides.
Years later, Yoruichi defected with Urahara. It was her last act as captain to free her younger sister, leaving her with the black ribbon and a promise to return. Kurai dissappeared into the Rukongai before resurfacing many years later to join the Gotei 13.
Shortly after joining the Thirteen Court Guard Squad, Kurai was taken in by Kazi, and she lived and trained with the rest of the Shihouins. Though she has met stumbling blocks in her training, Kurai has been growing stronger ever since.
Kurai still hopes to see her sister again. She wants to be strong enough to fight beside her and evetually continue her legacy as the Shihouin clan's Tenshi Heisoban...Clearly she's got a long way to go.
Skills: Kurai is very quick, even when she isn’t using any power. Her attacks are reckless, but she likes to incorporate the element of surprise into her attack. She is actually ambidextrous, so she switches sword hands during battle to fool the opponent.

Name:Lance Thunder Aliases/ Nicknames: None Physical Description:  When he's in his gigi:  Zanpacto:It's name is Neji-yuusha which means twisted courage...still get a pic... shikai:A dragon skull replaces his right hand and a spinal chord that is as sharp as a blade comes out of it's mouth like a tounge,a blade made out of bones can also come out later techniques will be revealed later.Neji-yuusha's ability make it so he turns his reitsu into the bones and manipulate's it into diffrent shapes... Bankai:Light stage:He grows two huge pure white wings with golden halos behind each one,his skull turns into a shining sword where if its looked at the right way it looks like a pure white tail.It's called yuuen enkou,kibo ken.((Means, grand halo,scaled sword)) his phrase:let me weild you now.... Special Accessories: I'll get back on this one... Skills:He's a skilled swordsman Abilities: He's fast and has alot of stamina... Personality:He's funny always cheerful and outgoing.... Biography/History: Lance died distracting a bunch of mobsters from his fiance who is still alive today he trys to even visit her some times... Almost immeadeatly after leaving the academy he got a energetic request to join 2nd squad,so he accepted it;not knowing that he find so many friends in it. There he met Nico Ichigawa after a quick introduction they got into a spar, she easily over powered him but after that Lance seemed to win almost every spar. After he achieved 10th seat he vanished,and only now re appeared. Powers: Homing chord,dragon bone sword,raining chords...and more to come.... heres the new abilities,spinal dome,spinal coffin,demon bone mace and full bone manifestation....maybe more to come.... Rp sample: ((This is one o the things that happened to Lance when he went away...)) A white whirl formed around lance's body. Wind hit his face blowing his hair back and Lance grinned.The whirl blew away revealing him flying over the human world,rushing past the sky scrapers watching his reflection fall with him he turned in mid air so that he landed on his feet,and stuck the landing. He looked to a barren hill with nothing on it except an old shrine,cob webs settled on the shrine and new webs forming over the old ones.All obvious signs of no one having gone there in a while.He stood by the shrine watching the webs the sparkled with dew on them from earlier that morning.He stood there all night as if..waiting for someone.
