((Sorry... The title is bad... sweatdrop ))
There was only one thing on the mind of the green-scaled serpopard: the mission. Nothing could distrack him, not even the great, powerful sea that he walked along side of. The sound of the of the roaring waves were nothing but a murmer in the background as the male serpopard kepts his ears perked in attention. His deep green eyes did not gaze across the vast body of water; his eyes were always moving, his head twisting about on his long, snake-like neck. He did not look back at the paw prints his black, jet-like paws left behind in the soft grains of sand on the shore. Not even the heat of the sun that was shining upon his black and yellow fur coat and glistening of his forest green scales with yellow-green spots, could distracks him. The young male serpopard, Teshi, was planned on fulfilling his mission. The great Sarlost herself had assigned him to be one of a few kimera in her services to scout out a new base. An Aquatic base, that would allow the kimera of the ocean who wished to be join her in the fight for peace to join them. This was an important mission. Teshi would not fail; the Godess had trusted him and he would not fail her. Teshi smiled as he could feel his pride swell within his chest.

(( It's not bad. =3 ))
The seopard's brown eyes closed gently and she grinned. Life was simple, she thought to herself as her two paws touched the mucky sand, feeling it go through her toes, sinking ever-so-slightly into the sand with every step.. She loved being neaar the water and feeling the strange grains pass through her toes; she loved living like this, carefree.
She opened her eyes and sniffed the salty breeze that whipped around her. Even the strange smell of the air was something she loved! Naida's grin shook a little and turned into a neutral expression upon seeing something in the distance. She squinted her brown eyes to stare at a very green kimera. No arms, a long tail, and a similiar neck as hers. Her head tilted slightly to her left side. "...Guest?" she murmured. She had never seen another seopard on this beach. She was unsure to feel glad or dissapointed.. The only thing she had running across her mind was 'what was there purpose here?' She awkwardly dashed towards the fellow, the waves muffling the flop-folp noise her paws made as the water splashed and was kicked around. The seopard reached the other seopard, studying his back. "Hi!" she exclaimed loudly in atempt to catch his attention.
(( And so you know, Naida saw Teshi from behind, so she's behind him, you know? o3o ))

((Got it. wink ))
Teshi nearly jumped out of his skin as the sound of another's voice suddenly interupted his train of thought. He froze, holding his breath as he did so. He had been to focused! He had allowed someone to sneak up on him! How embarressing... Good thing none of his comprades were here to see this. They would probably laugh.
Slowly, Teshi turned his head to look at the other. He blinked when he saw the other serpopard. At least she was a friendly face, otherwise she probably would have attacked him by now or something. He smiled sweetly returned the greeting, "Hello." Slowly, he turned on his heels so that he was completely facing the other serpopard. His smile and expression were friendly, but his eyes were still a bit wary and cautious. He was still a bit shaken up from being surprised from behind like that. It wasn't something he was used to.

Had she known he was with Sarlost, she would of tried to ignore him. It was that she didn't like Sarlost, she just didn't want to get tied up in choosing one side over another shananigans. Naida did prefer Sarlost over Syn though. She had doubt she had value to either of them; the female was loud and clumsy. Naida had no strengths. She was just... Normal.
The seopard couldn't help but giggle a bit. He seemed so spaced out or too deep in thought that she had been a big suprise.. "D-did I suprise you? Sorry if I did!" she said. Her eyes, filled with optism and brightness, gazed at his curiously. "Your eyes don't match your smile. I don't like that. Loosen up~ I won't bite!" she exclaimed, her grin staining itself onto her face. Naida moved away from the water and to the dry sand, trying her best to shake off the sticky substance from her two feet.

"Surprise me?" Teshi said in a sarcastic, teasing tone. "Of course not! I'm never startled. I just act surprised for the pleasure of others." He titled his head as he watched her gaze back at him, a puzzled half-frown spreading across his maw. His face looked distorted at her comment. He rolled his eyes at himself as he said, "Am I really that easy to read?" He chuckled a little at himself. "Okay, fine. I'll chill." Just then, a wave streatched it's arms outward, spreading itself across the sand and tickling Teshi's feet. First, he slapped the water with his tail in a playful manner; then he jumped a little onto his toes as the water hit him and he sprang forward so that he could be on dry sand along said Naida. He shook his feet off before looking to Naida, "I don't believe I've introduced myself yet." He said, "I'm Teshi. And you are...?"

"Oh, I see~" she responded, giggling. "And I guess so! But... that's good to hear. There's no reason to be so tense around me 'cause I'm not gonna bit you! That'd be nasty." Watching him slam his tail into the tail to splash it, she tilted her head, feeling some of the droplets fly and land on her head. Shaking her head vigorously, she grinned.
"Me? You don't know about ME, the AMAZING Naida? The BEST seopard that EVERYONE talks about? You should be like, bowing at my presence!" she said, emphasizing on certain words to make her seem important. Maybe she wasn't, but it was fun to pretend. "It's nice to meet you, Teshi!" Her eyes glanced at the waves, watching in draw in and out. She grinned and splashed some water in Teshi's direction when she had the chance, awaiting his reaction with a wide grin that was only getting wider every minute. It was fun to be herself, silly and playful, alwas giggling or grinning... Life was a great wool ball that was weaved patiently to make sure it lasted with great memories to her.

Teshi's eyes widen slightly in surprise and awe. "Oh really now?" he asked, tilting his head, "Well I apologize for me lack of knowledge about your greatness. I guess I don't get out much." He smiled a sheepish grin. He then bowed his head and added in a smooth, poliet tone, "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Naida." He paused before adding in a teasing tone, "Or should I call you Your Highness? Or would perfer Princess Naida?" He chuckled as salty water splattered across his face. He playfully splashed her back in return, whacking the water with his tail as if it were a baseball batt.

[[MWHAHA I FINALLY REPLIED! O___O]]
"I guess you don't~ And Your High of ness Princess Naida will do!" She grinned. "Buuut, I will also allow Naida, if you become my friend~"
Feeling the abundant amount of salty water splash her face and curve down her neck into her fur, she gasped lightly. Shivers ran down her spine as a gust of wind swept by, chilling her slightly. "Wo-woah!" she exclaimed. It wasn't freezing... The wind just caught her off guard while she stood partially-soaking wet, with the most-likely conclusion that she'd be completely soaking in a few minutes. The seopard whacked some water at him again, flaiing her tail in the water every moment she could get to do so. The water splattered in random directions, covering the female as well, but she seemed not to care how wet she was now, she was simply filled with excitement at being able to play around with another kimera.

((Yay! =3 ))
"I will look forward to befriending you then," Teshi said, smirking playfully. "Your High of Nes-" But, he didn't get to finnish the full, nobel title, for he was then spalshed once again with sea water. He closed one eye as water sprayed his face. He could feel the salty water seeping itno his thick fur. The cool, but refreshing water dripped down his long neck and tail. He was completely soaked, and the wind blowing off from the sea seemed to cut right through him. [Shall I add a twist maybe?] Teshi looked up at the sky as he shivered slightly, caught off guard by the wave of cold. The sky had, to his great dissapointment, darkened. The sky directly above there heads was still a pleasant, pale blue, but off in the distance was a dark, loominous cloud, that had been sneaking up the serpopards from the south. "Uh, oh." Teshi said breathlessly as he watched the blanket of black creep towards them. "It looks like it's going to storm." Teshi frowned. He had been having so much fun with his new friend. He wasn't ready for that fun to end.

[[Yay for twists. XD]]
Naida frowned. Great, a storm. Her eyes followed to the South, watching the clouds slowly approach inch by inch. "That's too bad... I know of an abandoned cave somewhere around that I usually retreat to when there's a storm. Would you like to join me there?" The seopard didn't realy listen for his reply, for she was already dashing to the east, away from her beloved ocean. The terrain soon turned to a more rocky terrain. The eyes concentrated on looking for the dark entrance of the small cave, her expression filled with frustration and focus.

Teshi bowed his head slighlty before saying, "If you don't mind, that would be-" But he didn't get to finnish. Naida had already taken off. Quickly, he scrambled to catch up with her, the ocean water tugging at his feet. Once he was out he followed closely behind her, watching his feet as he weaved his way cautiously through the rocky terrain. He glanced once above his head as the storm became more and more threatening. He nearly tripped doing so, and forced himself to focus on where he was going.

She reached the cave with the dark clouds already above their heads. Naida turned around to watch her friend pursue her, only yards behind her. The seopard backed a few feet backwards, into the cave, feeling the light drizzle come down already. What to do now?
"So my friend, Tesh! You have reached my domain for when it rains. It is very simple, but I hope it pleases. And while we wait for the storm to pass, shall we talk? I shall propose the first question! Why have you come to this wonderful home of mine? Are you looking for someone or have you come to offer me your friendship or... Something else?" she said in a mock-majestic way. She sat down on the ground, her tail swinging around as she hummed happily.

The light droplets of water had washed away some of the salt from the sea. Just as Teshi ducked his head to fit into the cave, the heavens rumbled and growled with thunderous fury. Teshi jumped in surprise as he scuttled into shelter below. They'd made it back just in time, for a second later it began to pour mercilessly. Teshi frowned at the horrible weather and sighed before following Naida and sitting down next to her, his long tail curled around his paws.
He looked at her with his inquizitive green eyes as he listened to her question. He tilted his head as he thought about it. "Because you invited me, I suppose..." He smiled as he added, "Which I am very, very grateful for." He glanced out at the rain before looking back at her and saying with a crooked smile, "And because I would like to befriend you."

She laughed. "Yeah, I suppose that's true." Her tail slid against the ground below her gently, smoothening the dark surface. Naida listened to the echo of their voices distant away into the noise of rain pouring over their heads. The quiet refuge seemed to want to multiply the noise so it didn't seem so lonely... Naida sighed gently. "Sooo, where do you come from, Teshi?" she asked to continue the conversation.

(( That's okay. Conversation posts tend to be short. Don't worry about it. Mine will probably be short too. ))
Teshi paused as he analyzed Naida's question. Then his expression suddenly sprang to life. His smile was wide with pride and his eyes sparkled as he spoke with a lively voice. "I'm a member of Sarlost's Keep," he said, his tail swishing happily, "My parents were both members when I was born, so I pratically grew up there. I mean, my family has a den close by to the Keep, but we rarely stay there. We spend most of our time within the Keep walls. It's the only place I can really call home." He paused and before jumping into a rant, he stopped himself and asked in a curious tone, "What about you?"
